All our needs were met with finesse. As for the food, so delicious! I would normally go for the Lobster Mac & Cheese, which is to die for, but I like to switch things up. Then a manager comes over and asks us to pick up and rotate our table to make space for a couple with a baby. Mind you this is the SECOND time we've had to move our table. We do it... and then they don't even seat the couple there. So we just rearranged the restaurant for fun I guess. The hostess was also hovering and making small talk about a matcha I got from the coffee spot inside, which felt like she was trying to make up for the table situation but it just made everything more awkward. Also why are the water refills like that?? They kept coming by and pouring literal droplets instead of just filling the glass. And our server somehow had perfect timing in the worst way possible -- every single time my mouth was full, she would appear and ask how everything was. It became a running joke. At one point we were laughing so hard because we genuinely couldn't believe what was happening. The crazy part is the food was actually really good. Everyone working was very friendly, especially when my friend went to grab the trays after we paid and the bowls slipped right off and fell on the ground completely. We felt soooooo bad but they cleaned it up and redid the bowls which I wasn't expecting but was forever grateful that they did. My only comment is if there is a way to get bowls that don't easily slip and slide on the tray, that would be great. We sat and ate and hung out there for a while. Even though we were the only ones that had a bowl slip and mess, we noticed we weren't the only people commenting on how slippery the trays/bowls (not sure which) are.
