We decided to eat in at our hotel. We didn't want to eat the hotel food. We looked online and found Mario's Pizza and they had good reviews. We ordered delivery for one 16 inch pizza with pepperoni and half mushrooms, chicken wings and garlic knots. After paying with our CC and we then received a text it would take an hour for delivery. I found it odd that it would take one hour. Ive had delivery today of same items from other pizzerias that did not take one hour for delivery but I already paid. The delivery came to the hotel and the driver left it at the front desk. I opened the pizza box and saw the measly amount of mushrooms on half the pizza. The pizza was also lightly warm and not hot. Came here specifically for the vegan pizza options they offer. We enjoyed their vegan veggie pizza as well as the vegan cheese rolls (both pictured). We really enjoyed both items. They offer a large selection of vegan food options in addition to their large regular non-vegan menu. For those who are vegan and want to enjoy their non-meat food options, I spoke directly to the owner and he stated that they use "Gardein" meat products for all of their meat substitutes. We ordered easily over the phone and our food was ready in 20min as indicated. Business is small but clean and the staff is very friendly and bilingual in both English and Spanish. My wife saw this place on instagram and we were already out and about so we decided to stop in. They have a ton of vegan options i wanted it all. We got a vegan cheese pizza, cheese fries, vegan chicken parm and vegan pepperoni rolls. My wife and i both agreed that it was the best vegan pizza we have had so far. The woman working was genuine and patient with us. We ordered a vegan veggie pizza with pepperonis for lunch and sat inside. It takes about 10-15min. The pizza tasted great! Gooey cheese. Even my non-vegan friend enjoyed the vegan pizza. I completely forgot to take food pics today. ‍ I came back at dinner time to take a large vegan pepperoni pizza home. I had the wonderful opportunity to drop in during my visit to FL this year and when I tell you they've got top tier service. I mean it. From the instant you walk in they're really friendly and greet you with a smile. The ambiance was really welcoming and inviting. A nice space for either dine in or carry out/take out. When my food was ready the manager there, I believe his name was Jose was super helpful and made sure that it was made exactly to my specifications. My only gripe or complaint is that I ate it so quickly that I neglected to capture any photos. But I definitely recommend the Girlfriend Pizza! Saw a lot of reviews talking about how "doughy" it was. I think it's important to point out this is in a little strip mall, I was a little shocked at first but don't let that deter you! They have about 8 small tables inside and a handful of parking outside but that was plenty as most of the orders appear to be take out. The service was fantastic, the ladies at the counter were very friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered the vegan cheese fries with a side of house made buffalo sauce and the vegan Philly Stromboli. The Stromboli was ok, it could be better but it was huge so that makes up for the lack of whatever it was that was missing. My friends ordered a regular pizza with a variety of toppings and theirs looked really good too! After ordering I saw they had a vegan 2 slice and drink special for $8!! What a bargain! Yay for having the vegan options but meh for the experience. First, I tried ordering online but the website didn't work on my phone or my computer so I had to call, which was a painful experience. We finally got the order right but I was sad to hear that they didn't have the vegan S'more Logs or the Vegan Tiramisu... on a Friday night. We came in from out of town so I was really looking forward to some goodies. We got the pizza for pickup and we're hoping for the thin crust, extra crispy, extra sauce but it was just soggy. First pizza in my new digs. Hi reviews from my fellow yelpers so I tried it. Medium cheese with 1/2 sausage, mush, onion. I was impressed they allow you to order online this way!! We also requested it to be extra crispy. Again, some places find that request annoying so kudos for listening to the customer. We also ordered the jumbo wings with mild garlic parm. Wings were requested extra extra crispy and I can tell they were as requested. All the food was very good but would be better if not for my choice of delivery. Sitting I. We love Mario's pizza! We have our favorite pizzas like the white chicken bacon pizza or gyro pizza. We wanted to try something different so I asked the cool dude with bandana on. He recommended the Philly Cheesesteak sub, so I tried it. WOW WAS HE RIGHT! That was the best Philly I've ever had! Today we're getting a Stromboli & a Calzone. I've heard some hype about Mario's Pizza and was excited to try them out. We placed a pickup order with some friends. We ordered wings, garlic knots, and a large pie with half pepperoni, and half chicken, Roma tomatoes, and ricotta. Pickup was quick and easy and the people working there were friendly. The knots were pretty good, but not the best. I did enjoy the wings even with them being on the smaller side. The pizza itself was average in my opinion. Nothing bad, but nothing outstanding. It had a yummy crust, but just not a great flavor or texture otherwise. I did like the ricotta/chicken/tomato topped slice more than the pepperoni slice. I'd consider trying Mario's again, but may go in person to get it fresh and try a different combo of toppings or other menu items. read more
