Fun place, great atmosphere and location, bar was packed for happy hour and it is loud. Food was good, service was on the slower side. We just had drinks and a lot of apps!

I had brunch here with family and the service was really well. My favorite French toast has to be from chroma!! It's perfectly crunchy and not too sweet. I sat on the patio and I really wasn't a big fan of all the flies flying around our food. The restaurant provided the fans to prevent the flies from landing on your food, but I rather eat brunch inside.

Okay, so it's been a hot minute since I've visited Chroma. I remembered really liking it when I visited for the Yelp event. Let's start with the positives, I really thought the service was great. The food did take longer than I'd hoped with a baby but it was a Saturday night. My girl was doing great for the first 30 minutes but it was difficult after that. I love that the patio is dog friendly, we brought our fur baby too, he enjoyed people watching. They also brought him a dog bowl with water right away. The food was a disappointment. I think the best thing we had was the tuna with crispy rice and it was a sad thin portion of tuna, like $21. Some of the other dishes we tried was the crab cakes, the burrata pistachio and the tuna stack. I liked the tuna stack also. The lamb sliders sounded great on the menu, but they were super dry and had no flavor. We also tried some sides, the brussel sprouts and the fries. I did like those, the Brussels were almost too saucy tho. The fries were nice and crispy. The side of fries were kinda small for the price. Someone at our table also got the shrimp risotto, that was sad and very bland. I'm kinda sad about my experience, because I remembered the last time being good for food. Service rescued the poor quality for food.

Loved the brunch vibe at Chroma. They had a dj who played all the jams! The space is large with plenty of seating options. One of my favorite bites was the patatas bravas. Didn't care too much for my shrimp and grits though - just okay. Service was Fast and friendly!

Like other Yelpers mentioned, the ambiance and decor was nice but the food fell short. Service could have been better too Got seated right away at the best seat in the house, the large middle booth facing out and got a great view of everything The Greek with 2 salmon skewers was $18.25 and asked if we could add the lamb as well and for 2 lamb lollipops, it was going to be about $20 which was more than the entire entree itself that came with accompaniments which didn't seem to make much sense The hummus in the Greek dish was wildly overly salty. A complete salt bomb that made my face cringe and had us drinking our waters fast with no refills until we paid for the check and was about to leave. Told the server how salty it was and was told she'll let the chefs know... No apologies given, replacement or a substitute to replace the overly salty hummus so we just had to eat around it and deal with the food that was already touching it when it was plated. Definitely could have had better customer service at this point The maitake mushrooms was the best of all the dishes but not the nicest looking plate, pollo a la plancha was decent and the Cajun rice could have been more flavored. This place could elevate their cuisine a bit more to match the appearance of the establishment

I really enjoy coming here. I'm not on this side of town very often but when I am, I try to eat here. I was a little nervous because we were walking in on a Saturday night but they were able to seat us in 10 minutes (shocked!). I love that this place is mostly shareable plates. It's fun to go with someone that will actually share! Everything we ordered was really great. The Chroma sliders had nice soft buns and juicy meat. The Crispy rice was so good. Loved the crispy brussels sprouts. They do a smoke old fashioned right! The desserts are surprisingly big! Chocolate mousse and butterscotch bread pudding were very different experiences but both great! I will say this place has a "moody, dark" ambiance. I think it'd be great for a date night. I've also been here for a company function so they can accommodate larger groups too. Wish I lived closer!

Before we start any reviews, let's start with INA (not sure of spelling) IS the BEST. Talk about a bartender who is responsive, attentive and anticipates your needs at a crowded bar. What absolute exceptional service. And now I am spoiled by INA. So you can call me spoiled from here out. It is INA's fault. On to Chroma, the place is modern, the decor is beautiful, there is a great selection of spirits, and the food is top notch. For the price point, the portions are actually worth it. For two at brunch with food and drinks, expect about $100 including tip if you are drinking modesty. Located in Lake Nona Florida in the Medical City complex, the music was like Bad Bunny on rewind which absolutely suits the ambiance, with some Kendrick and upbeat music. The brunch menu was great, some hand helds and entrees like shrimp and grits. I had the chicken tostones (exceptionally delicious). Also enjoyed a side of bacon, benets and an eggs sandwich on brioche. All I know is I truly loved the experience. Oh, and they carry 4 or 5 of the craft beers from Park Pizza Brewing which is literally across the way. You can walk out the door of Chroma and in just a few step be in a brewery. Thanks INA and Chroma for making my Sunday Brunch experience next level. Can't wait until next time.

Loved everything about this place. The vibe was perfect--cute, modern decor and a DJ that set the mood without being too loud, so it was great for conversation. I went for a friend's birthday and it was such a good spot for celebrating. Our servers, Evelyn and Diego, were amazing--super attentive and friendly. I ordered the molten strawberry French toast and it was so good: crunchy on the outside, soft inside, huge portion, and totally worth it. I also got eggs on the side. I tasted everyone's food at the table and honestly everything looked and tasted delicious. The tostones were great, and the chicken tenders were a hit too. Definitely would go back and highly recommend for brunch or a fun get-together.

Wow! A great brunch spot. I recommend reservations. We were seated right away. I absolutely loved everything we ordered. For cocktails, we started with the No Kids on Tuesday. The passion fruit was perfect for this brunch. We shared the Roasted Beet + Goat Cheese. This dish was perfect to start with. Lightly tossed in an aged balsamic vinegratte dressing. Just perfect. Followed by the Chroma Benedict. Three English Muffins topped with eggs and a delicious brown butter hollandaise sauce. Two thumbs up. Finished our experience with the Molten Strawberry French Toast. It was delicious. It's a generous portion. Enough to share with two. They had jamming music the whole time. It was a great mix. We just wanted to stay longer just for the fun vibes.

Fantastic service at the bar. Really fun and great drinks!! Loved the pork belly pad thai!! Skip the spare ribs as they are dry. If you want great people watching, a fun atmosphere, great bar area - you will love it here. We would def come back

Good recs from the server. Chill, mood lighting. Food was yummy and I love that it's all shareable.

Chroma is a gorgeous eatery with a really forward thinking menu and some top notch cocktails. The location is fantastic, situated in the heart of the Boxi Park area with some beautiful surroundings. Spacious, classy, and extremely inviting. This is a definite Date Night location for sure! Similar to a Tapas style restaurant, there are small plates for sharing, larger entree offerings for everyone (steaks, fish dishes, and even a few vegetarian offerings) and then some much larger shared dishes. There is no doubt that Chroma is high class. Our server, Katie was magnificent! I don't think my water ever got empty and she was extremely attentive and pleasant. We had no reservation, having decided on a whim to stop for a small bite and a cocktail after work, and got seated almost immediately and with no pretentious fuss. We started with a couple of drinks, I opted for the Sunset Shandy which was a blend of blanco tequila, mezcal and prosecco garnished with lava salt, jalapeño and blackberries. It was phenomenal! Smokey and sweet, mezcal forward with a little bite. My wife opted for a sparkling rosé that was refreshing and bright. For the meal we split the chicken satay, corn fritters, and Chroma Sliders. The chicken was flavorful and moist with a very tasty (if a bit sweet) peanut sauce, the sliders had a delightful sauce and were well prepared. The corn fritters had really great flavor, I enjoyed the slight spice from the chorizo and the sweet pop of the fresh corn, the texture was a bit softer than I care for but that's the only real failing on the menu and I call that a success. The pricing is definitely on the higher end with cocktails and wine offerings starting at $15. Probably my only real point of contention. While the cocktail I had I really enjoyed, I've definitely had more enjoyable cocktails in the downtown Orlando area for less, but I won't fault them for knowing their clientele and their price point. Expect to pay a premium for the location, and don't be surprised by the "Arts and Entertainment" fee tacked onto the bill. I was a bit taken aback by the 1% fee and frankly had to google it because there is no explanation on the menu or check, but it seems that it goes toward the maintenance and growth of the area around Boxi Park and Lake Nona. You *can* opt out and have it removed from your check if you are opposed to it. All in all Chroma was delicious, and a great spot to check out at least once, and certainly for a special occasion.

    Crab + Artichoke Dip

Visited Chroma in Lake Nona with some friends and was honestly impressed! We went close to closing, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves, which made the experience even better. The restaurant is gorgeous inside and out--super stylish with a really cool atmosphere. Our waiter was extremely friendly and gave us great recommendations since it was our first time dining there. We kicked things off with some of their house cocktails. I had the Champagne Poppy made with Hennessy, and it was definitely a must-try. We shared the Crab and Artichoke Dip while waiting for our entrées, and it did not disappoint. Then the real show began when a cart was wheeled over to our table. I ordered the Parm-to-Table experience, and wow. It's a Truffle Fettuccine Alfredo prepared tableside in a massive parmesan wheel. Absolute perfection. And of course, I had to add steak because why not lol? Chroma delivered on every level--from the vibe to the food to the service. If you're looking for great food and a cool atmosphere in the Lake Nona area, I highly recommend checking this place out!

Is this a casual restaurant? We are looking for a nice place for dinner after a flight and then driving 2 hours after. We usually do not dress for "fine dining" for a flight. But, want a delicious dinner.

I would wear nice casual. No shorts. Polo shirts OK with a nice pair of khaki pants. Crop pants OK with coordinating top.

    Any vegan brunch options?

    Avacado toast

What hours is brunch served on Sundays?

    10am- 3pm

Hi! What happened to the amazing cinnamon rolls? The fantastic gooey one was replaced with a standard one you can find anywhere?

I was disappointed too, it wasn't even as good as Pillsbury out-of-the-can. If you ever get to Albuquerque, visit Golden Pride or Frontier Restaurant, to enjoy the best cinnamon roll of your life.

Is brunch available every day or only on the weekend?

    Only the weekends.

What are the hours for brunch?

    After 10 am

    Is there bottomless mimosas?

    yes

    Is there a happy hour?

No, not to date. Canvas another Tavistock Restaurant has one though.

    Is this place kid friendly?

Yes! I went there for Mother's Day and there were lots of families there.

    Do they accept pets?

    Yes. Outdoors

    Is the beef creekstone?

Hi Wayo. We do not carry beef that is from Creekstone. Let me know if you need any more information. Mo O’Donaghue, General Manager

Does anybody know what the happy hour is like here?

The new happy hour drink specials include $5 calls, $4 draft beer, $3 off cocktails and $3 off glasses of wine. Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 3:30-6:30 p.m. Not a bad reason to dip out early.

There were plenty of people who didn't look even 'business casual' much less the 'dressy' listed here in Yelp. We were seated and got our drink order in ... and waited several minutes. We had already decided on our orders when our server first arrived at the table, bearing menus listing the courses for the prix fixe five course 'Taste of Bacan' menu. (There was also a prix fixe seven course offering, but no menu for it??) We changed our minds and went with the five course offering ... and waited several more minutes for the first course to arrive. (Fortunately, the delays in service ceased after this.) The food was amazing! First up was a Lobster Burrata Tostada, on a little four inch crispy corn tortilla with sweet notes from the passion fruit. Next up was the Florida Snapper, beautifully cooked, with a loose mofongo and fennel shreds, but served on a bed of curry sauce which was too spicy for us. It was at about this point when the Bread Service we added showed up: a good-sized loaf of warm bread, heavily seasoned on top, paired with a chorizo/ricotta spread that I didn't care for. Then the Pork Belly, so soft and delicious. The last entree was the Carne Asada, served medium rare (off-putting to those of us who prefer our meat cooked), but delicious when eaten with the salsa and corn side. We finished up with the Tres Leches cake. I'm not usually a fan of Tres Leches, but this again was superb, contained in a dark chocolate shell, garnished with little chocolate/crispy rice balls. I appreciated that they had zero-proof mocktail options, and tried the El Dorado. I didn't care for it, though, as the drink changed flavors twice as I worked through the layers, and none of them were particularly tasty. Now the real problem, the food. The food was good. A couple items were really good. But honestly nothing was great! There is a lot of potential here, but this place is truly bordering on not being worth the cost. I wanted to have a different experience. The door to enter the restaurant isn't prominently labeled, so I always second guess if I have the right way. It's a classy feel inside with lighting that sets the mood, as well as cohesive fixtures and accents. Tablet menus? Yes. That's a thing here. Our server did a great job taking care of us. All our needs were met with finesse. As for the food, so delicious! I would normally go for the Lobster Mac & Cheese, which is to die for, but I like to switch things up. The Mahi Mahi Sandwich didn't disappoint. The regular mac & cheese that I had for my side is some of the best around town. The cocktails are flawless. My Mint Julep and Manhattan were perfectly crafted and 100% satisfying. This place is consistent and will not let you down. Looking forward to my next visit.

For the food, the best item on the bbq chicken platter was the creamed corn. There was a perfect crunch on top and the cream paired very well with the sweet corn. I believe it had jalapeños in it but there barely was any spice. The bbq chicken tasted just like you would imagine it and the fries weren't anything special. My girlfriend really enjoyed the lobster mac & cheese. Just like the creamed corn, my girlfriend complimented the crunch on top of the entree. We both liked the spinach dip and the chips were lightly seasoned well too. For the drinks, we got the baby blue cosmo and the espresso martini. The martini was good and the cosmo was pretty strong for it being a restaurant.
