Came here on a whim, close to our hotel after a long day on the road. I had low expectations. Walking in the place reminded me of a pizza version of chipotle. When you walk up every component of the pizza is laid out I front of you like chipotle. First, choose the type of crust you want(they have cauliflower and gluten free for those that like/need). I went original. Then they have serval sauces to chose from I went with spicy marinara. All the toppings are laid out in front of you, the toppings all looked very fresh and vibrant. I did a meat lovers, they add red onion to break up the richness which was great. The pizza is then thrust into a hot oven and less than 10 minutes your personal pizza is ready to go. The crust is thin and super crunchy. I really enjoyed the pizza here, the spicy marinara added that zing, the crust was spot on and the meat toppings were cooked to perfection. Wish I had a place like this in Miami......our pizza scene is pretty lame. Probably best to eat it ate the restaurant as I did so the crust doesn't soften as it steams in the box on your way home. It is a subway version for pizza. The ingredients are all fresh and the sauce is surprisingly good. But the service is what is amazing. From order to delivery...under 5 minutes. SWEET! You barely find a place to sit and they are calling your number. They just opened one in my state (MN)and it was the same service and quality. I love the pizza here, I'm here 3 times a month minimum. But was disappointed today. I was looking forward to picking Up for a late dinner as I was coming in from out of town. I was led to believe that the store was open till 10pm, I arrived at 9:54 and the doors were locked. We were amazed at how quickly the whole process is. The workers are very efficient and super nice. Great variety of pizzas and once you order one of the signature pizzas you can add as many toppings as you want for no extra cost. We got the Meat Eater, Green Stripe, and Red Vine. Absolutely amazing place. Fantastic service too!! They kept saying " no worries" "we can do that" and super considerate. We walked in and immediately loved the vibe and atmosphere. So modern and clean. We ordered and we have a little toddler so naturally he was very active while we were there, and they were So patient with us running around playing. We ordered and they read it back to us before placing the pizza in the fire oven( so cool). Then when we checked out, they gave us a free s'mores cookie which was so Delicious and made fresh every day in their oven daily. The drinks were SO good. Lemonades and actually juices. We got the blood orange lemonade , and the Blue sky Natural soda Black cherry flavor. I was SO SO surprised and happy to see the brand blue sky soda. This place is A-OK, definitely the better choice compared to other pizza restaurants in the area, but there is so much room for improvement. I like the approach of customizing pizza up front and having it prepared in front of me; I think my biggest concern is the ingredients just... seem cheap. Biggest issues- (1) The dough doesn't rise like I've seen in higher quality pizzas or taste as good; (2) the sauce seems of Chef Boyardee (which, hey... I grew up on Beefaroni) quality. I ate here this afternoon after driving in from the badlands on our way to the black hills. I'm from Minnesota and am used to Punch Pizza which I thought would be similar. It was for the most part but I would say punch would come out on top, but that doesn't mean that this was bad, the customer service was very good and the food was good as well. The pizza was good it just lacked the flavors that it could have been talked advantage of with some more ingredients. I am so happy to have found this place in Rapid City! I was able to make my own pizza, for a GREAT price, that included actual veggies and meat I would use at home. This is why I usually never eat pizza at restaurants unless it's plain old cheese. The quick "blaze" cooking style got my pizza out in no time, and I was tearing through slice after slice before I knew it. On top of that, their spicy sauce is the perfect amount of spicy! Blaze is a great option if you want a quickly made, quality customizable pizza. It reminded me of Chipotle--a line forms down one wall, and then you let the Blaze employee know what kind of pizza you want, and he/she goes through and puts on the toppings you'd like and then sends it through the oven. I liked two things about Blaze--the way you could construct your own pizza with a plethora of options and/or customize one of their standards any way you'd like. If you want to add bacon or peppers or another topping, if you want the pizza to be half this and half that, they do it for you with no hassle. I got the barbecue chicken pizza, and my two friends with me ordered their own customized pizzas. The pizza really does take only 3 minutes (as they market it, 180 seconds). It's a thin-crust pizza--if you like that kind of thing, great. If you like thicker crust, you won't find it here. They don't have many options beyond pizza, so if you're hungry for something else, this might not be the place either. If you want a good-quality pizza made the way you want in a short amount of time, Blaze is a great option. read more

My first time to have Blaze Pizza again especially after over 7 hours of driving was a perfect set up. Amazingly, the crust was spot on - crispy but not burnt and they piled on my favorite toppings! Roasted garlic, caramelized onions, garlic pesto base with artichokes/roasted red peppers and fresh basil to top it off. This place was pretty good. I was in the mood for a pizza and Blaze got pretty good reviews so I decided to give it a try. I placed an order online for an Art Lover's pizza. People might try to fight me for saying this, but artichokes on pizza are really good. So when I saw they had one (that's where the Art comes from, for artichoke), I gave it a try. My order was ready in less than 15 minutes. When I got there to pick it up, the servers there had my order ready right away and they were very friendly. There is plenty of parking and a large seating area. It wasn't overly busy, either, and I went there during dinner time. The pizza was good. I have no complains about it at all.
