Very unsanitary. Same gloves used to touch chicken AND veggies. No care for vegetarians or allergies. After chicken was dropped into the basil, it was simply picked out and discarded. Ew. I told the manager and he didn't care at all and did not even discard the contaminated basil. Health inspector should check it out and the manager needs to be retrained. read more

Sort of Neapolitan style pizza. I'll admit I'm spoiled by more authentic Neapolitan pizza places like Punch in MN or Vicci in Denver. Tasty ingredients, but sauces are spread on "see-through" thin, enough I couldn't even taste it on the White Top I ordered - it tasted more like just pizza bread with toppings. My friend felt the same way about her Art Lover, enough that we sort of joked they really do mean red sauce "dollops." Personally thought dough was too dry as well. Worth a try if you want a different style pizza. Glad to have more variety in Rapid, but I've had same-style pizza balanced much better before. read more

I was with pizza eaters but I wanted a salad. There were 3 very nice salads available, in theory. They were offered as side or enter salads. You get in a buffet line to order toppings on pizzas. In the same line you see the 3 salads. They were all very wilted and there was only a small amount of each one, not enough to make an entree salad which is what I wanted. I asked the server if they had any fresher salad. Silence. I asked again, and he said he'd have to look in the back. But he just stood there, then waited on the customer behind me. No customers after that one, he was clearly not interested in looking in the back. I almost decided not to get anything, but then noticed the fresh spinach topping for pizza looked good and fresh. So I asked if I could have a spinach salad. Answer was no, we don't have enough. There were no other customers in line, it was about 6pm on Wed. 10/31/18. I know this is a pizza place, but if they advertise salads they should have them and they should be fresh. I was very disappointed in the service. read more

Saddest. Pizza. Ever. We took one look at the pizzas we bought from Blaze and went over to Little Caesers for a few more the family would actually like. Here's the good first- they have a descent selection of ingredients that all taste good. It's quick, you order and show up and your pizza is ready in under 3 min. Now the bad- the crust is soggy, the sauce is underwhelming and flavorless, and there is a minimal amount of cheese on the pizza. Seriously, there are far better, and cheaper, frozen pizzas from the grocery store. I really hoped this would be at least edible after reading good reviews. read more

Yes, I know it's a franchise, but if you're in Rapid City, SD, this is THE place to get a terrific pizza at a very reasonable price. Blaze hits that perfect ratio between the excellence of the product and price. The "crusta" reminded us of NYC: crisp, no drooping at the end of the slice--an invitation to lost toppings and soiled clothes. Toppings were excellent and well-balanced. Salads were large, fresh, and toothsome. AND you can get a craft beer without missing a mortgage payment. Pizza arrived in about three minutes, so, if you're into salads, buy those first, get well into them, and then order your pizza. This is the fastest pizza place I have ever seen! The assembly line approach is neat and the kids I saw were fascinated watching " their pizza" get made. They also had some unique ingredients such as blue cheeze! The one down side is they can make them faster than people can eat so crowding might be a problem when they are busy. Do not call in as they make them so fast it might be done and cold by the time you get there. Check the timing first. They do say the bread is made 24 hours in advance, if not for that I bet the bread could be kosher for passover! It all does seem to get done in less than 18 minutes, the time allowed for matzah! read more

So it's my first time here. At first i ordered a signature pizza and I didn't realize I could add items. After I paid I saw the other pizzas and asked a customer how it worked. When I realized I could add items I told the cashier I was hoping to make changes. She was awesome and said no problem. She wanted my first experience here to be positive. Blaze pizza was really easy and fast on a night in South Dakota. Staff is extremely nice. Also, they offer gluten free crust which is great for our family. They ask exactly what you would have (like: what sauce you want, if you would like cheese, and a lot more. They also offer outdoor seating which our family really liked and we could get fresh air. The quality was awesome and really fresh. The crust is also made right when you order. They have a lot of topping choices. Also, they have pre - made pizzas along with build your own pizza's. They have never burned our pizza, their cheese was never rubbery. They offer a wide variety of drinks including Mexican coco cola. It's just really fresh and good. Visiting RC and saw this place reviewed and it sounded promising. The great part is you get to assemble your own pizza just like a sandwich at Subway. Any ingredients, any number of ingredients, any sauce and any or all cheeses. No upcharge.... Every pizza is $7.95. You can "have it your way." They use a super hot oven that cooks your pizza in 3 minutes. The down part for us was the end result; the pizza crust was crispy on the bottom, but chewy. The pie itself was very bland tasting and they were a little skimpy on some of the requested toppings. The pizza was "not bad." The first time experience was great. But in the end we got a 7.95 pizza. read more

They do make the pizzas fast unfortunately the crust is so thin and honestly dry but the toppings were really delicious.
