We usually get the boneless wings with the sauce on the side, a side salad, and onion rings. The food has always been fresh, well-packaged, and ready quickly. There's always plenty of sauce for the wings -- something we really appreciate since that's a big complaint we have with another "big name" wing place. The wings themselves are a great size and always cooked perfectly. I have deducted 1 star because it is a little on the spendy side for what's essentially bar food Customer service has been excellent, and the whole experience has been consistently great.we'll definitely keep this as part of our Friday night routine!

I think this must be a family owned place, because at some point, I saw a 13 year old (ish) boy clearing tables and handing out candy at the tables. They mostly have the standard beers and a handful of local offerings. I had the hazy pineapple beer, and it was okay. My husband tried a local IPA, and he liked it. I had the fried shrimp and the housemade potato chips. They make their own chips (good, although unevenly salted) and they come with a delicious french onion dip, just like the stuff I remember from childhood. My husband and I couldn't get enough. The menu is otherwise pretty burger-based, but that's fine for a setting like this. They have a pool table that takes quarters. The chislic was tough/chewy and not as good as Thirsty's next door. My husband and I split the buffalo meatloaf. The meatloaf was dry, but I enjoyed the overall flavor. Overall, I was not impressed with this restaurant and was disappointed with service and how the meals were cooked at Murphy's. We just had better food during our trip, so it's hard to recommend this one.

When it came time to order our meals, we were informed that they didn't have their regular carrot or French onion soups, as well as two entrees. As we ordered, he informed us of a 3rd entree that was unavailable. After we ordered, his manager returned to inform us that two of the entrees we had ordered weren't available! I (sulkily) ordered the salmon and a house salad. Now, the house salad is a big bowl of iceberg lettuce with a few radishes, cherry tomatoes and onions. My wife didn't even bother to taste it, and I only ate a third of it. Our entrees were well prepared and nicely presented, but our waiter wasn't able to find his way back to refresh our drinks. After an elongated, two-hour dinner, I was left thoroughly unimpressed. There is something going on here, and my guess is that they are struggling to find staff, pay their suppliers, and maintain quality. I certainly didn't share the experience of other recent reviewers. My suggestion is that you wait for a handful of positive reviews before visiting.
