It took a second for our food to come out, but it wasn't a fast food place and it wasn't unreasonably long time. We stopped here from out of town because there was something we could both eat, me being plant based and hubby a meat eater. I ordered the Falafel Gyro which sounded good based on the description. I subbed the tzatziki sauce for hummus. It arrived with an Italian/greek dressing all over it and the hummus on the side. The dressing was not mentioned in the description and was while flavorful, way too much. I ended up getting another plate to transfer the meal to. The bread was soggy where the dressing was and stiff on the other side. On the positive the falafels were moist and delicious. What a great find! I absolutely love gyros and have had good and bad examples. This is definitely one of the best I've had. It may seem a bit pricey but the portions make it worth it. The bread is tasty, the meats are hot and seasoned to perfection and the veggies are not wilted and old. I am such a happy camper right now I had to write this review. Now I can see why they have a 170 review 5 star rating. I am a bit of a purist about my gyros, having been introduced to them in Europe. Don't be afraid to be adventurous though and try the supreme. Grilled vegetables and cheddar cheese do make a great meal even better. I was hesitant at first but I really enjoyed it. The only thing I could think of to improve on this place is for it to be in a food truck outside of a bar after the bar closes. This would be epic drunk food!!! read more

But there's more, it also had mayo, and was wrapped in a tortilla! A Mexican style tortilla. Dear god. One bite was all I could do. Sweet ketchup was the only flavor I detected. I'll say the appetizer plate was OK. But that's what's confusing They HAVE pitas. They HAVE tzatziki (kind of). They HAVE hummus (sort of). Why then, are they putting ketchup and mayo into a shawarma wrap?? God only knows, but spare yourself the experience. Maybe something else on the menu is edible, but I'll never know.
