Came here today because Verizon awarded customers with their new perks program with a free two topping pizza. You just had to redeem the code by ordering online. I came to this location at 1:30, there were two employees working, and I went through the steps of ordering. After I ordered I sat down and watched them make orders that didn't look like mine. After 8 minutes had passed after receiving the confirmation email and watching this, I asked if they had received my order. One of the employees went to check and said that it had "just printed." Uhm, no, I doubt that. Neither of them had bothered to look. I don't know if it makes a notification sound or not. They had been working on other pickup orders. So 8 minutes for them to see my order, then another few minutes for them to make it and bake it. Two employees, no one in line, one table of customers. As far as the pizza, it was very good. MOD Pizza is really good, but I think that Blaze is better. Their crust, sausage, and cured ham is excellent. There was a Blaze in Tucson where we even had an Elite Yelp Event where the corporate head chef came and explained all about their menu and ingredients. It abruptly closed with no announcement or explanation a year or less later. This is Tucson where if you have a good product, your restaurant will do well. Blaze needs a new CEO, CFO, and marketing department. There is no reason why there shouldn't be more Blaze restaurants in the country thriving like MOD Pizza. It's just bad management at the top. And reading the 1 star reviews here, the bad management at the top definitely affects the local management. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stopped in this afternoon, not one person in the restaurant. Ordered my build your own pizza. Had to keep asking them to put more toppings on. $15.75 for pizza and a small drink. I didn't want meat on this one so I expect there to be some cheese! And other toppings. Store is clean . Service could have been way better. Waited 30 minutes for order. And the person that came in after me got their pizza before I did. Need to do better customer service. Food is great, but they never get my order correct. My wife loves the green stripe pizza and 75% of the time they run out of ingredients or forget to put half the stuff on there. Got home and the the green stripe didn't have the green sauce or arugula. Then today I went in because I had 3 electronic gift cards I bought from Sams Club. When I paid they told me they don't accept the electronic gift cards. So now what???! Blaze has a build your own pizza concept like a few other restaurants do. My friend enjoyed their meat lovers style pizza and my chicken and veggies pizza wasn't bad. For me the chicken wasn't great and I wouldn't do it again. Additionally, I personally prefer a bit more sauce on my pizza than what was on it. So be mindful about that if you're like me. We didn't have burnt pizzas like other reviews have mentioned but the crust is pretty thin so I'm not surprised that it happens. Overall Blaze was a middle of the road experience for me. I personally have enjoyed MOD Pizza more than Blaze. read more

The pizza is really good and tasty. I made my own pizza and you tell them what toppings you want on the pizza. They put the right amount of ingredients in it. The line went fairly quickly. During covid they put a sticker on the floor to tell you where to stand. That's really helpful and the spacings/distant makes you feel safe standing in line. Customer service could use some work, people were getting reprimanded right in front of us instead of acknowledging our presence. It's not hard to go in the back and keep it private. Staff was either super young or super old and the younger ones were actually more competent then the chatty older women One staff member was also loud and obnoxious, ordering her son around to get stuff from the back and take our orders. Another miscalculated our order almost 3 times and we had to run three separate charges. I was a frequent blaze customer growing up in California and moving to Lehi it's been a favorite. I was hoping this location would be great so I could go more since moving to salt lake but I'm not sure if that will happen. Our pizza was charred because it looks like the oven hadn't been scraped out in a while, and a few other customers almost got served raw pizza. We then waited almost 20 min with a fussy baby because they had a small rush and didn't call out names. There was a time in my life when all I felt like eating besides popcorn and red wine was the art lover pizza from Blaze. This was in Vegas, where I first tried Blaze Pizza, and today I went to the Utah location for the first time because I wanted some comfort. I tried a build your own, with a spicy red sauce base, Italian sausage, and lots of veggies. It was very yummy and the spicy red sauce really does have a bit of a kick. Of course I got my old friend, the art lover. I always get it with the garlic pesto base and top it off with sea salt and oregano. It never fails me. Something about those red sauce dollops and sweet ricotta gets me every time. I typically don't order desserts from places, but I needed it today, both for my feelings and to meet a minimum for a promo ;) The brownie was delicious, soft and with some lightly crisp pieces here and there, but I thought it'd be bigger LOL Blaze is always good and probably one of my favorite fast pizza places.
