So very disappointing. I saw another location of this restaurants opened on 6th Ave recently, but I was in the area today and decided I would give it shot. It was the WORST chicken I think I've ever had. There was one other person in the restaurant when I arrived (could have been a sign . . ). I got the #1 (basic chicken sandwich) as a combo. What is listed as a "jumbo tender" is . . . not. I've included a picture of . . .whatever that is. The fries and chicken were both lukewarm at best and tasted as though they had been sitting around for quite some time. We ordered this to our hotel room, did not take long was very fast. We were disappointed on the size of the fried jalapeños, paid around $7 for this tiny little side. Definitely not worth the seven dollars. The combo had just enough fries, but the tender on the bun was so tiny not worth it. The flavor and taste was there crunchy on the outside juicy on the inside. My husband and I stopped by here on a whim. We were in the area getting boba and decided we wanted to grab some lunch first and this place caught our eyes. We got The Bird and The Loaded Bird and shared both- they were fantastic. The sand which was stacked nicely so the portions were a good size, and super tasty. So when you go into the store and look at the menu - guess what's not on the menu? A Nashville hot chicken sandwich. They do have wings with Nashville seasoning. We told the guy behind the counter we wanted 6 wings each of the Buffalo and Nashville dry wings. When we got home and looked in the box - there were three wings apiece. The guy is good at math. My experience matched a lot of other reviews here and I wish I would have read them before coming to this establishment on a whim (I saw an ad for smash burgers that looked amazing) We ordered two smash burgers and the loaded fries. The burgers were ok but not worth going out of our way for next time, but the loaded fries were obviously reheated and stale. I was disappointed that our food was not made fresh at this business. At that point it's glorified gas station food. Do better Blazing Bird! There was only one other customer in the restaurant when we visited on a Friday night so obviously this place isn't highly regarded in the neighborhood. Place is updated and very clean. The food to me is very good and a solid price for what they give. Comeback sauce is very good. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 is just because they messed up the orders originally but dealt with it in a great way letting us keep the extra meal and made a second one very quick which was very good. read more

So we got the bird sandwich medium spicy, the early bird with the hotest spicy (with a sign wavier) and the loaded burrito. The spicy wasnt that spicy to be honest. The blazing was not as spicy as i thought it would be, the only thing that was spicy was the seasoning. If the whole chicken was spicy together, now that is a different story. Both the sandwich was not great becuz it comes with a small piece of chicken. The chicken was dry as well. The only good think i enjoy was the loaded burrito, but it didnt come with another sauce, only drizzle sauce on it. It needs some additional sauce to it. But overall, i have had better and i hope this place can up their game! The oreo shake was good, it got too sweet afterward. Im not a very sweet person, but my family like it. read more

Mmm depends... the buns were definitely better in quality compares to Dave's. But the chicken and spice level and temperature wasn't great. I ordered medium and it was more mild than medium spice. Temperature wasn't very hot. Just tepid warm. And there wasn't enough spice rub on the chicken itself. I got the chicken sandwich with Mac n cheese added but requested mac n cheese on the side and it was "meh" as well, quite soft and wasn't cheesy enough. So overall, it's a decent place. A bit overpriced. Hubby and I each got a sandwich without drinks or sides and came to be about $30. read more

As a former resident of Nashville, I was excited to try this place. If you've ever been to Nashville and had hot chicken you know that Hattie AB's and Prince's reigns supreme. This place....is not either one of those. I'm tact, it's terrible. I ordered a chicken sandwich and the chicken was barely half the width of the bun, which lead to plenty of just stale bun bites. The seasoning on the chicken wasn't good and wasn't anything like true Nashville hot chicken and the fries tasted like they were from a carnival or state fair. Very underwhelming overall.
