    Italian Sandwich
    Amy T.

I got the 7 inch Italian Sandwich to go. Usually sandwich places ask if it's okay if everything comes with it but here he asked me to list what I want on the sandwich. They end up forgetting my pickles. The sándwich comes with a couple slices of each kind of meat and is a very short stack. Not bad for the price but it isn't stacked for sure. Only comes on white bread.

Sandwich shop on overdrive. In town for a conference. Found Snarf's while walking down the street on lunch break. You can tell it's a popular spot. A variety of creative sandwiches. The young guy that took my order was very friendly and gave good advice. It's a little pricey, but the portions were filling. Overall it was a great unexpected sandwich find.

Fresh made, toasted sandwiches! Don't miss this for a great lunch option! First time at this location and was not disappointed!

Stopped in this sandwich shop while we were in downtown Denver, and glad we did! We just beat the lunch rush, which was nice because after we sat down and ordered the line was pretty much out the door! That's how good this place is! I had the medium size sandwich and it was super filling for me! Ingredients were fresh. The sandwich was hot and everyone was super friendly!

Quick service and tasty sandwiches were just what we needed after landing in Denver. It laid the perfect base for our evening as we needed to head straight to an event. The decor is fun and goofy, and the employees there were very friendly.

A picture of the special. Doesn't "combo" imply at least two items?
    Tim S.

I will start off by saying I 100% take ownership for not reading the sign completely. That's on me. I've been a huge Snarf's fan since my first visit. I've always have good food and service. I was so disappointed today with my Snarf's customer service...or lack there of. I saw the sign for a Mambo Combo. I love soup, so I was onboard. I told the cashier I wanted the Mambo combo. She took my order, barely speaking to me, and I paid. When my order was called, I picked up the soup. I asked where was my sandwich. The employee, who turned out to be the manager, said I hadn't ordered one. I told him I ordered a combo and he said you have to order a sandwich. I went back to the cashier and explained to her I had ordered the combo and paid $14.31. She said I had ordered a drink, too. [Math: $7.35 for soup plus $4.70 for a drink]. At that price, I thought that included the sandwich. I explained that a combo implies two or more items. She just stared at me. The manager heard me getting frustrated with the lack of empathy from the cashier and came over. I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was the manager. He and I went around again with the explanations. I asked why the cashier, when ringing up my order for a combo, didn't ask what type of sandwich I wanted. No answer. He clearly knew I was frustrated when I said, "You need to have a sign which is more clear", his answer to a paying customer was, "And you need to learn how to read signs". This coming from a manager. I finally said "Let me order the sandwich so I can get out of here." His compensation for the $11.95 sandwich, on top of what I already had paid, was a whopping $2.39 discount. I know it's fast food. I know it's hard to find people to work. Even though there were at least four or five employees working and the restaurant was dirty. The place should have been spotless, but that's my point. It's so hard finding GOOD customer service, let alone ANY customer service. The food may be good, but I will never return to this Snarf's location. Their reputation has been tarnished thanks to these two top-notch employees representing the Snarf's Sandwich brand, I will think twice about going to Snarf's the next time I want a sandwich. They aren't the only place in Denver to offer sandwiches.

TL;DR: better-than-average sandos, friendly staff Ordered the seasonal Cubano sando and the "BIG Dill" pickle Wish the Cuban was actually pressed hard like a traditional Cuban. The addition of bbq although tasty was not traditional. Yummy sando overall. Although an avid pickle fan, I'm probably skipping the Big Dill pickle next time. It didn't taste like the brine made it all the way through the pickle and ended tasting quite bland. Ready to go back and try all the other sandos :) Cheers, Snarf's!

So many different sandwiches to choose from. Honestly I don't honk there is a bad choice. Service was quick and friendly. I could have eaten there the next day. I definitely recommend as they have many locations.

Perfect walking distance to and from the Buell Theatre! I saw Wicked! with some friends and we wanted to grab a bite to eat before the show. We wanted something quick and light, so we picked sandwiches. Did you know Snarf's has a "not on the menu" menu :) I got the Chicken Cordon Bleu from it. The Chicken Cordon Bleu was ROTISSERIE CHICKEN, SWEET HAM, MELTED PROVOLONE AND SWISS CHEESE, BROWN MUSTARD AND SNARF'S CREAMY PARMESAN DRESSING (description from their website). I'm not a huge mustard fan and forgot to ask them to take it off so that was my bad. The sandwich was hot and fresh! The mustard over powered the flavor for me personally but over all it was delicious! I would get it again and this time remember to ask for no mustard. The cashier was nice and helpful! Very patient with my friends and I. The restaurant was clean and at an average volume sound. Very enjoyable and easy to have a conversation with friends.

Snarf's is a great place to go for sandwiches! I had not been to this downtown location, but I had been to other Snarf locations. This one simple interior counter service like some of the others which cafeteria style table/chairs in the place. It is counter service so you order at the counter then take it back to a table or take it to go if you prefer. The sandwiches here are delicious. I had a pastrami and Swiss and was not disappointed. This is the place you go if you want something that is hearty and doesn't;t feel like manufactured sandwich line. Give it a try for sure!

    Prime Rib & Provolone Cheese

I found Snarfs walking around the Colorado Convention Center looking for food and despite the 40 min wait, I came back again the very next day and recommended it to friends afterwards too!! I'd recommend ordering from their app and doing a pick up bc they are always so busy, the line will be out the door! Prime rib and provolone 8/10 This was good but I would have liked the prime rib better with a different texture. Smoked brisket with bbq sauce and Swiss cheese 10/10 SO GOOD, so meaty, with enough bbq sauce! I like how every sandwich, has their signature hot peppers to give it a kick! If you want a Denver style sandwich, this is the place to be! The ambience was very eclectic. There's a lot of seats and tables - it can get busy around the lunch rush.

The ambiance was indeed attractively designed, bright and open, not too loud even though we sat ourselves near the kitchen. We ordered from menus with our smart phones, and our drinks and food arrived promptly. I ordered the Shakshuka, a northern African dish of stewed tomatoes with feta cheese and spices served with warm crusty garlic bread. A perfectly poached egg was nestled on top, and the dish was accompanied by a side salad of baby lettuces dressed very sparingly in oil and vinegar. Now, ordinarily, for me more is more when it comes to condiments. But the way the salad was dressed allowed the flavors of the lettuces to come through, and its blend of tart and slightly bitter was the perfect foil to the shakshuka, which was hearty, delicious, and spicy indeed! The stew was a generous portion that could be easily shared if you ordered an extra side of garlic bread, which I did. I was lucky to be able to request it from an employee who came around to ask how our meal was. The overall experience was memorable in the best way. I'm already craving the Shakshuka!

Drinks and apps were good, though we didn't try the charcuterie board which seems to be their thing. What fell flat was their speciality-STEAK! Our two filets that were ordered medium rare both arrived well done. One was so dry it was difficult to eat. The two Denver steaks ($70 each) while cooked properly, lacked enough flavor to make them truly wow us. Dessert-key lime pie-came to us frozen and was difficult to cut with a fork. Once it had thawed (as we were paying the check) it had the right consistency. Overall, we were sickened at the thought of having paid almost $1,000 (5 people) for a dinner that was mediocre at best. There are so many other great places in Denver for dinner. I would put Urban Farmer at the bottom of that list if you want great food that is in this price range. We started with the focaccia (with the ricotta and honey on the side) and it was so tasty. My partner doesn't normally like ricotta, but loved this dish! We were celebrating our anniversary, and the staff brought out complimentary glasses of bubbly rosé, as well as their special dish, which were the stuffed squash blossoms. Overall, we had a great time! We found easy street parking nearby, as well. My only downside would be that, because this restaurant is so popular, there are lots of diners, which makes for a pretty loud atmosphere. It sits conveniently near the Convention Center, possesses a polished dining room, and harbors ambitions that deserve encouragement. On the Fourth of July, however, time itself wandered off to watch fireworks. Six coworkers and I arrived for our 7:30 reservation. We were seated immediately at a comfortable table in the back. The dining room was only about two-thirds full, which made the evening's upcoming mystery all the more impressive. That prompt seating, as it turned out, was the fastest thing that would happen to us all night. Our server greeted us, took drink orders, and brought out some warm Parker House rolls with Amish butter, alongside a bowl of French onion soup. This part was good. The rolls were soft; the soup was rich and comforting. Spirits were high. We ordered our entrees. Then the clocks stopped. Twenty minutes passed. Then forty. Then an hour. At first, we assumed our meals required extraordinary craftsmanship. Perhaps each potato was receiving a heartfelt, individual farewell before being mashed. Maybe the cows for our burgers were being transported from the farm where they source their meat in Wyoming fresh to order. But then we noticed something unsettling: nearly every table around us was waiting, too. Plates were strangely absent across the entire room. We had all been trapped inside an intermission with no second act. Our server, looking more exhausted with every trip from the kitchen, assured us our meals had "just been fired." I believed that he believed it. Ten more minutes drifted by. Our dinners finally appeared roughly ninety minutes after we had ordered. I felt bad for the man. He stayed friendly and professional while serving as the lightning rod for a kitchen catastrophe he had nothing to do with. Sometimes the person carrying the bad news is the one who deserves the most sympathy. The food, at least, tried its best. One of us couldn't stop talking about how excellent the pork chop was. Another declared the salmon outstanding. Three of us ordered the Brush Creek Wagyu burger. Mine arrived a perfect medium-rare. The other two, ordered medium, arrived practically mooing. But after waiting an hour and a half, nobody had the stomach to send them back into the void. They just ate their rare meat and kept quiet. To the restaurant's credit, our server chopped twenty-five percent off the bill without us having to ask. It was a decent, quiet gesture. It acknowledged that the evening had gone entirely off the rails. Corinne clearly has potential. The location is great, the space is nice, and when the food actually makes it to the table, it's mostly quite good. I suspect we simply wandered in on a spectacularly bad holiday evening. Even so, a ninety-minute wait and some undercooked burgers are hard to ignore. I hope our night was the exception, but I'm not entirely sure I'd gamble my evening to find out.
