I've been coming to see Nadia here for years, first for eyelash extensions and more recently for eyebrow waxing. I have super sensitive eyes which I found out after I had my first set of eyelash extensions done somewhere else and has my eyes swell up. Of all the places I've ever went to have eyelash extensions, Blend Beauty Bar is the only place I've been to that didn't cause sensitivity to my eyes. I must've tried four or five other places and had allergic reactions and issues with the glue everywhere else, even using their sensitive glue. Appointments are easy to make and the salon is always clean and relaxing. I know Nadia has been a professional in the beauty field for a long time and she's the only one I trust to do my brows now. I was so disappointed in the highlight I received. they charged me for an outragous anount. and I have stripes down my whole head and it looked like it was 3 week grow out. they aren't even straight. I have spots where she put bleach instead of weaving and she even tried to fix it but just made it worse by slicing instead of weaving in the front. I'll start with the positive, the seaweed gel color is pretty. I called and made appointments for me and my friend for a seaweed gel mani/pedi. I looked online before hand for prices and description of each service. The best deal for the seaweed gel was the combo for $60. When calling I double checked on the price and was told it would be $60 each. However when paying we were told it was $78 each. Now IT IS MY FAULT for not speaking up and asking why the amount was $18 more not including tip. As I walked out and grabbed the piece of paper that had the prices for services thinking maybe they raised the price and we just weren't told. Even if that was the case, that should've been explained to us. However this was not the case and these two ladies literally just charged us extra money. My friend did mention that we got a coffee scrub on our feet which we did not ask for but also didn't know it was not a part of the pedicure at this establishment. The staff member transitioned so seamlessly into scrub I hardly noticed and when done a thought did cross my mind this must be a part of their process here. I went ahead and checked the price for a added on foot scrub (after leaving salon) to a pedicure and it was only $6. Sooooooo this still didn't add zup to $78. -Was quoted $60 and charged $78 not including tip -They do not soak nails before manicure which makes cuticle removal tough and or painful -Feet for Pedicures are placed in plastic bowl with no jets or temp control so water becomes cold and doesn't allow proper softening of cuticles -They will sneak on added services (foot scrub) -I told staff member for my pedicure I have sensitive toe/cuticle area and had to tell her twice she was hurting me -The next day I notice I had a cut on my toe at cuticle -Both my friend and I gel manicures started peeling 4 days later when we left for our trip (suppose to last 2 weeks) -Both of our manicures peeled off while on trip -Both of our nails were and are way more brittle and broken after polish has come completely off. More than is normal after a service. Having received many mani/pedis I am aware of the process, given each establishment may vary slightly. This was by far one... if not the worst. My friend who also has experience with manicures and who never really complains did not like the results and has nothing positive to say about this place or experience. I don't understand how they have such a high rating unless it's for other services. read more

Nadia was so kind, patient and amazing with the makeup, she had such attention to detail and spent a lot of time explaining to me Skin care and the products she was using which was great and very helpful to me. Her mother, whose name unfortunately has escaped me, did my hair with much thought and consideration to the time I was going to the event (six hours later) so that the hair would hold all night, which it did! I went a few months ago and this place gave me the worst manicure I ever received. The gel was super thick and gloopy; there was powder and excess gel under most of my nails, and the corners of some of my nails ended up glued to my fingers. I also had cuts and burns on my cuticles from the way the girl filed my nails. I had nail tips on but I asked for a new set of tips and she cut off my actual nails with the tips instead of filing them down, then she used the same size tip for every single nail. I don't know how that one nail tech was ever certified. I had to get a new set from another place that same day. I would never go back again, it was the biggest waste of my money. read more

Nadia is seriously amazing! Super cool and extremely talented. I was lucky enough to book her (last minute) for my wedding last month. She offered to come to my hotel room and get me ready, which honestly made my morning 100x easier. Also... major props for showing up 10 minutes early. That did wonders for my nerves. I had already sent her pictures of what I wanted for makeup and hair and she got right to work. Due to the dim lighting in the hotel room, Nadia ended up working on me while I was sitting next to a window, not in front of a mirror. So I saw myself after she was mostly done with my hair and makeup. The makeup was gorgeous! Just flawless. She matched everything to my skin tone perfectly. And I've never had lash extensions, but they made such a difference for pictures. I felt like perfection. And it lasted all night, just as she promised. My hair was good, but my only complaint was that I had asked for extensions and did not get them. I only realized the fact after she had left, otherwise I would have said something. My hair doesn't have a ton of natural volume, and I was hoping for a more fuller look that day. It still held up throughout the night. I would especially recommend Nadia to South Asian brides. I really didn't think I would find someone in Las Vegas who would understand my skin tone or hair. She even helped me get into my lengha and and pinned my matha patti for me! I went in yesterday to get my hair dyed from dirty blonde to platinum blonde, almost a silver grey. I showed my hairstylist three pictures of exactly what I wanted and I thought we were set. I spent a total of five hours there, which I was not concerned about if it was going to turn out the way I wanted it to. What I got was highlights of my actual hair with a darker root color, in other worlds, not at ALL what I asked for. It was half my natural dirty blonde and half a lighter blonde, and my roots still have dye in them. I was so exhausted after five hours of sitting to get one shade lighter than what I came in with I just paid the $155 and left. Although, this trip being a Christmas present from my parents, they were not happy when I arrived home. My father called this morning and they refused to give a refund. If you're looking for a more complex hair change, do not come here. read more

Very cute boutique salon; lots of all natural products in use here! The facial was great since the products smelled amazing; my skin seemed pretty irritated after the extractions. Seemed like a chill place and saw lots of memberships for sale (ie unlimited waxing for one price!) Was given a cup of water after, nice as cups can be washed and won't clog a landfill like a plastic bottle will. Seems like a really eco friendly spot for beauty needs. The first time I came here wasn't bad, the lady was running late which then made my appointment start at a later time. Since I'm due for another cut, I decided to book a hair cut appointment. Only for it to be canceled a half and hour before it was supposed to be scheduled for. I live 40 minutes away so I was already on my way to the salon only to find out I had been canceled. She didn't even blow dry all of my hair she just kept moving it around in different directions and never sectioned off my hair to fully dry it or anything. It was pathetic and my hair was frizzy I said volume. I also wanted pill curl set so I can have some volume and that's what I booked online and she told me that's only for old ladies. SERIOUSLY! Really wanted to like this place as I wanted a cruelty free salon to do my gel nails. The lady was nice enough. However, a toenail covering fell of two days later and my nails started soon after. I was on the way out to dinner so this was really an irritating situation. There is a reason this place is empty. I don't know about their hair services and so on so I'm strictly talking about nails. Terrible experience! Had booked an appt for 1:00 for gel overlay with tips, showed up at 12:50 and all 3 girls were sitting on their phones with no one in store. Sat down and "nail girl" was shuffling through everything and apparently couldn't find nail glue so the other girl had to run to Sallys with me waiting there! Then she proceeded to tell me she's not the normal nail person and 2 nail techs quit on the spot the day before (not a good sign). I was not comfortable with someone who "sometimes" does nails doing mine, told them I was not going to sit and wait god knows how long for them to get nail glue for a NAIL SALON, and walked out. I was hesitant to get a facial, because I had a huge flair up of whiteheads from threading my cheeks. Nadia took the time to explain to me why the flair up occurred, and how we could correct it. She made me feel very comfortable to the point that I knew I would return for another facial before the first one ended. She created me a custom facial that was perfect for my skin.
