The Dubai Chocolate cookie was rich, deeply chocolatey, and just melted in my mouth. I also had a peanut butter cookie with a cheesecake filling that was absolutely delicious. Every cookie was fresh, soft, and packed with flavor. The shop itself is adorable. They serve ice cream, sell dessert-scented candles that look just like the real thing, and have benches out front under a tree where you can sit and enjoy your treats while taking in Lapeer's charming downtown. I love that the area is filled with locally owned businesses instead of chain stores. The staff was friendly, and they even have a punch card rewards program, which is a nice bonus. I paid about $25 for four cookies, so it's definitely a splurge, but the quality makes it worth it. I'll absolutely be back to see what new, creative cookie combinations they come up with next!
