It's in a small shopping plaza, so easy to miss but you don't want to miss this! My husband and I got 2 açaí bowls (very generous with toppings!), 2 paninis (flavors immaculate), a smoothie, lemonade and wheatgrass shots. It's very hard to find smoothie spots that carry wheatgrass so that was another major plus for us! Dropped by on Monday afternoon just prior to a college fair. I am starting a new diet, Keto, more or less, and so I needed a healthy option. I had also just gotten a minor dental procedure and couldn't really eat solid food. First, let me say they have a wide array of options on their menu which I thought was awesome. Salads, acai bowls, smoothies, wraps, paninis, and more! Fortunately, you can catch a glimpse of the menu in the Yelp profile. I decided for a protein smoothie called the Coffee Shake! It was absolutely delicious! I've had some protein shakes that taste almost cakey really because of the protein in it. However, this shake was made super well and tasted exactly like a cup of coffee! I was super excited to learn that there is a healthy food establishment in Middletown. I was feeling really icky and needed a detox, and lI cry me they had a few on the menu. The carrot-ginger drink is made fresh and I had mine served sans the ice. It went down smoothly, and helped settle my tummy. Very impressed, I ordered 3 times during my weekend stay in town. Their tropical açaí bowl had my tastebuds dancing- I ordered 3 one for each days lunch. Aside from the last one prepared a little clumsily, I would recommend it to anyone. The Buddha bowl left a lot to be desired. It was a very plain green bowl with not so sweet potato's and corn. The suggested vinaigrette dressing was not appetizing either. Only negative is the overwhelming menu. Great 2.49 wheatgrass shot. I live having the great hog fresh options. The salads are huge. The chocolate plant based protein in the shake is a little "powdery" but still good The pick up spot is inconvenient and although there is a huge "order here" sign hanging from the ceiling, you have to pass it up to see the menu. I love this place & now that I have moved I can't find another bar that matches their offerings, freshness and overall quality. While moving & packing my daughter & I lived off their smoothies & salads almost daily! I was able to place orders for pickup online & it would be ready & waiting. I think only 1 time my order was made incorrectly & when I went back & explained they quickly made it again & it was perfect! Warning it does get busy but that's when you know it's good! I will say the biggest inconsistency is staff - some have really bad attitudes and will barely speak a word to you, even as they are taking your order. They mess up frequently too making me think that many people are always coming and going as workers so they are always having to train new members. My stepmom raved about this place so I had to give it a try while I was home for thanksgiving. I was certainly not disappointed! My brother and I split the Nutella açaí bowl which had frozen açaí on the bottom, granola, bananas, strawberries, and a hearty serving of Nutella on top. They really didn't skimp on any of the ingredients! It was a hearty size too, was fully satisfied splitting one bowl with my brother. The prices were pretty typical for an açaí bowl; overall most of their menu items are under $10 so a good value. Service was really fast and the açaí bowl was very tasty! Really hit the spot after our run (which we immediately ruined with Nutella... worth it). My only comment is I wish the açaí at the bottom was less frozen. I've had other açaí bowls where the açaí was more of a soupy consistency which tends to my preference. For this açaí bowl, you could taste the ice crystals in the açaí which wasn't ideal for me. However, overall it was pretty good. Would return for more! My stepmom also recommends the butter butter açaí bowl for all the peanut butter fans out there. read more

Of the 4 items we ordered 2 we're made wrong. Took forever to get and their ordering process in the store is backwards. Also found the wraps too loose where everything fell apart. I don't think the owners would be happy to see their staff being rude to customers! I was on line this evening and a young girl wanted to order 2 Nutella bowls and other things. Your rude staff kept bypassing her. When she finally spoke out and asked why they were taking others that were coming in after her, they told her she needed to wait till 7:30. Nothing made sense! This time, however, the food server forgot to add chicken to one of the salads (which, fortunately I caught before leaving the store) and she forgot to add sweet potatoes on the other salad (which, unfortunately I didn't discover until I was already gone.) I ended up driving back to get them but then later found out that the sweet potatoes had turned bad and tasted fermented. Yuck! Glad I hadn't added them to my salad yet. My boyfriend told me he went there last week and was given spoiled mandarin oranges on his salad. A note to management: Please don't cut corners on food quality and freshness to save money! The first time I went I waited a bit long because the person in front of me had a big order but the second time I placed my order and the girl began to make it and then stopped to help the man that walked in. I eat here several times a week and have tried every salad on their menu. They have all been so flavorful, amazing combination of flavors and great portions. The Caribbean and Sante Fe Salad are my absolute favorites, the dressings have to be homemade, theirs no way they can be store brought they are they perfect consistency with so much flavor and are what makes the salads so goood; I wish they sold them in consumer sizes lol!
