Bouncing between the register and the blenders, the gals behind the counter were able to get my blueberry banana and my partner's tropical guava out in 5 minutes! We were staying in the area for the weekend and Blenders was right around the corner from the Airbnb. I love Blenders and really wish we had one up in NorCal. My go to is the red orange with total supplement. I've had this for many years and never ventured away from this. I love that you can order online for pick up, which made it easy for us as we were always on the go. There's plenty of parking spaces and the inside is super spacious. Great if you have 30 min to wait for your smoothie. I have stopped going to this location because the staff is sooooo slow. I waited in line for 15 minutes while a confused cashier tried to complete a gift card transaction. There is high employee turnover at this location, so there are always workers confused, and delays. There is also little sense of urgency, employees walk around with dazed and bewildered looks on their faces. read more

I looooove ME Sum Blenders!!! I am headed there now so here's my update! As far as options, they have added quite a few over the years plus have seasonal faves... Definitely check their side poster board menu of new smoothie/drink options... Some cool healthy ones with coconut water mark a different blends called antioxidant recovery trim fit etc. also Acai bowls too! Take a look! Make sure to say GO SOY if you don't want dairy. They have a frozen soy blend...it's great! Wish they would do coconut though as I'm tech a non soy also person but I suffer it gladly to drink my mmmmmmm smoothies!!! Nice options for those of us who have had it since Art and the gang opened it! I've been addicted since...I literally get 2-3 most visits...I like them when I don't have the right smoothie etc ingredients I need at home or the blending power on the road... Definitely worth loading a card with $30 or more to get a benefit if you visit 10 or more times in a month or just to save 10% of the overall... Convenient and it's a good idea for us fully or even semi frequent buyers! Make sure you reload the card before you buy your smoothie. It can seem tedious, but clearly ask to transact that first then order the drinks, it's the only way it works well for the savings!!! :) Please recycle your card...save them when they're empty and fill them when you can.. And..hooray, the cups are back to be reused after a long wait during covid to not use them!!! I've had mine clean and waiting so buy one and bring it each time for a savings and eco reasons! Cheers! I got the 12oz peanut butter banana smoothie (+ carob, dates, chia seeds, non-dairy soy blend (for +0.75)). It's really great how they allow for a free supplement - I chose chia seeds. I also was able to customize by adding in dates. The smoothie was creamy and perfect, filled to the top lid. Quick and efficient, no complaints! Another great Blender's location, and less busy than the one on State St. Always clean, usually fairly quick, and the employees are friendly. I had an issue with my rechargeable gift card, and tried this location to resolve it, as this is where I had last charged it. I had previously found out at the El Camino Real Marketplace that my card wasn't working, so I came here next. Absolutely one of my favorite things about santa barbara! I used to go to school here and this is literally the only thing I miss. All of their smoothies are fantastic, but my favorite is the red banana. It's made with ice milk (and I believe ice cream too) and it's so creamy. The banana flavor and strawberry flavor go so well together, and the size is an absolute STEAL for the price (5.50)! This is a chain so you could find one close to you anywhere in the sb area. There is just so much to say about this funny little smoothie shop, where to even begin.. To start, I love the small Matcha Green Tea Soy - It's a sweet little "healthy" milkshake I treat myself to every once in a blue moon. The Carrot is something to be noteworthy as well, but also more of a milkshake that you would want every once and while rather than full on breakfast or lunch. Actually, they are pretty much all decently tasty but more of milkshake style treats rather than a healthy, meal sufficient smoothies. The supplement boosts do help the level of quality but considering the pinch size amount they put inside the drinks I would not use that as a justification. If you ask for no sorbet or ice milk (basically ice cream) and do all fruit and juice it is a little better for you but the sugar content is out of this world. Your best bet on a health standpoint would be to get a veggie juice which even then they do not carry very much Organic, if any at all and once you see how funny the massive artsy looking carrots are you may not want them any more. To each his own though - I go in and get a custom veggie juice with all greens and garlic every once and a while and have never had a stomach ache or anything like that afterwards. The staff are usually upbeat college age students who get things done very quickly and often make me smile with their jokes and humor. The drinks are all decent, cold, and refreshing but high in sugar content and rarely Organic. Definitely clarify if you have food allergies so they can use different scoops for things as everything seems to be somewhat universally used. They do carry protein style bars and a couple little baked goodies but after having a variety of the two none are that great and I have yet to buy any of them twice. Parking is slim and the lot is a little hard to maneuver but you can always park across the street at Lazy Acres and walk. Overall A for staff interaction and timeliness, B for quality of product and cleanliness, C for healthy aspect of things, and D for parking. I will be back on occasion but not somewhere I would recommend for tourists one stop shop. read more

Could not get enough of it and really wanted to come back for seconds. 4/5 Mocha (add banana): Personally reminded me of the Dip n Dots banana split flavor! But someone else argues that the Red Banana bears a better resemblance--so I guess it depends on what part of the Neapolitan spectrum you favor more. They close at 10 how hard is a smile when your alone? I asked him what they will do with the local plastic straw ban that's in the works. I've Been going to blenders for a few years, so there's nothing much I can say that hasnt been said. However, there's something about the Mesa location that stands itself out in comparison to the others. Perhaps it's that it's less demanding here than on state street or five points, but the current management and pacing of this place is incredible. I don't feel rushed but welcome here. Plus I had a chance to meet the manager, I think his name was Eric, (I'm terrible with names though, so if it wasn't Eric, then sorry, Eric), and he was one of the kindest and studious employees I've met. I'm very happy with the new direction this store is taking, and am quite excited to see how it will develop in the future! Also The betterfinger is my favorite option, which is on the secret menu. Oh man, I am so bummed they don't have a blenders in SoCal!!! I have to say, I was a bit intimidated when I first walked in because their menu can be confusing with so many different options, add ins and super add ins! But after thoroughly doing a read through, I ordered The Cranberry with spirulina and it was SO good. Way better and healthier than anything I've ever had at Jamba Juice, thats for sure. My friend got the Blue Apple, also quite tasty, but I highly recommend the cranberry, especially if you love blueberries. Fingers crossed they bring this chain down south! read more

I've been twice, and both times the smoothies tasted overwhelmingly of sherbet. Just really sweet and cloying. They have a make your own option, but I would prefer to have some built in menu items that I like. I'm gonna give it one last shot. Stopped here during our visit to Santa Barbara and enjoyed the smoothies. My husband got the acai energy with a green blend supplement. It was delicious. I got the berry smoothie with the bee pollen supplement and I thought it was great. I like that you can make your own but would like more receive options that included more vegetables than just fruits. One of my favorite things to add to my smoothies easily is carrot juice. My 7 year old also got herself a smoothie that she custom made. The cashier was slightly annoyed as my daughter changed her mind a couple times. I came to Santa Barbara looking for a Jamba Juice, but unfortunately I couldn't find one, but my cousin told me about Blenders and he said it's the same exact thign almost. So I came here taking his advice and I got the Matcha Green Tea drink, it was really good and really chunky... I love that. The downfall of this place is the workers didnt even ask if I wanted a small medium or large they just assumed I wanted a medium with no nutrition boosts, when I really wanted a small with an energy boost.
