I was a little nervous about getting a tattoo on my face, but my nervousness was quelled by looking at her past before and after client pictures. Molly is a perfectionist, and let me tell you, it's a great trait in the permanent makeup field. She worked with me, took the time to get a good feel for what I was looking for, and used a hardcore little ruler/protractor for precision and accuracy. She did a test before the actual permanent application so I felt good about her moving forward with permanence. The application itself wasn't pleasant, but it wasn't bad either. And it went surprisingly quickly. The way the ink works, right after she applied and for the next day or two my brows were darker than what they ended up being (I'm a dirty blonde). I only paid for her expertise in eyeliner. She said I must of had a 'friend' do it. I don't select beauty professionals based on friendship, hence why I went to Penny. She is not my friend. I've had my brows microbladed twice before by professionals based on qualifications, recommendations and testimonies. I chose Penny for my eyeliner. She should of taken a compliment in that department. Don't put me down because I didn't select you for another service. I thought women were supposed to build each other up... not put them down. I finally decided to have them redone and decided to have them done at Chrysalis Clinic. First they were micro bladed twice with something to lighten them. Then they were finally done in a light brown. Sadly the brown lasted a few weeks. As they healed the color just disappeared. There are two problems with my eyebrows and both could have and should have been avoided. It should been made known to me during my consultation that having my eyebrows micro blades three times would leave my eyebrows indented. Basically skin layers gone forever. It also should have been known that micro blading does not go deep enough to cover up a tattoo done with needles. It was money wasted. I now need to have my brows done again by an actual tattoo artist.

We were seated right away, but my sons ended up sitting in their chairs for quite a while before anyone started on them. During my pedicure, I asked three separate times for my ingrown toenails to be taken care of, but they were never addressed. One of my big toenails was broken, so I requested a simple overlay on both big toes so they would match. The technician refused to do the second toe, laughed at me when I asked why, and still never did it. Unfortunately, things only got worse when I moved on to my nails. I specifically asked for a dip manicure. The technician attempted one finger, then scraped it all off because he was applying the dip like regular acrylic and clearly didn't know the proper process. Instead of correcting it, he told me he would "just do acrylic." I explained that I wanted dip and said that they had the exact color of polish available that I had chosen in dip powder, but he refused. After going back and forth, I finally gave up and agreed to acrylic. Then, to make matters even more confusing, he told me to pick a different color. When I asked why I couldn't use the color I had originally selected, he ignored my question, tossed the color samples at me, and acted annoyed. From the beginning of the appointment, it felt like he was upset with me for simply asking for the services I had requested. The final result was terrible. My nails are thick and chunky, the polish is uneven and splotchy, there are bumps throughout, and several nails are crooked. The quality is far below what I would expect from a professional salon. Between the poor customer service, the refusal to perform requested services, and the low-quality workmanship, I left extremely disappointed. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this salon based on my experience.
