Super quick. Just moved here from Stratford which has the worst food. I was pleasantly surprised when I tasted blessings food. I have never had lo-main so good. Noodles are soft, crispy, and have a nice garlic taste. Can't wait to try other stuff. read more

Their food is fine. When I bit open a hot pepper in a recent order, it was full of mold on the inside. I called them to let them know so they could check their pepper supply. When they passed me along to a manager, I figured they would throw something my way, but the manager just thanked me for letting them know and hung up. I order delivery from this restaurant. Their service is friendly and often VERY fast to downtown if you order before the dinner rush. I've ordered numerous times from this restaurant and it is consistently good. It is not great food, but it is tasty and hits the spot. Their friendliness is one of the biggest reasons for ordering along with the fact that they are consistent and tasty. My staples are General's Chicken and Mei Fun. I've ordered the general's "medium" spicy several times and it is not tasting spicy, so I might try spicy next time but I'm afraid I'll get burned! They have a signapore mei fun that is a spicy mei fun and it is much more flavorful than the standard mei fun. In case you don't know, Mei Fun is a welcome alternative to the standard lo mein noodles. These are thin vermicelli(?) noodles with shrimp and veggies and tasty, probably high-sodium flavoring. read more

It is the best Chinese restaurant I have found in New Haven if I need a delivery. It is free to deliver, compared with Main Garden whose driver always asks for tip. They always deliver within 30 minutes, compared with others who often take an hour. My favorite food includes Singapore mei fun, house special mei fun, vegetable mei fun, house special wonton soup, beef with broccoli etc. I know I will miss this place after moving out of the haven. read more

I have stopped here occasionally over the years. Quality had gone down noticeably over time, but last month I stopped here after a nearby appointment and ordered the General Tso's chicken. When I got home I was appalled to find that the chicken was nothing but a huge ball of cornstarch with a tiny fleck of chicken (at least I think it was chicken) at the very center. I have never seen anything that looked so much like a clear attempt to rip off the customer. I should have cut a few of the "nuggets" in half and photographed them for this site. After trying about a half dozen chinese delivery restaurants, we've decided this is our favorite. Our favorite things are the mei fun, the eggrolls, and the steamed dishes (the ginger sauce on the side is very good and there is usually enough to save and put on your own food later in the week). We can't figure out the difference between chicken with mixed vegetables and chicken with chinese vegestables, and chicken with cashews is the same as the above except that the chicken is cut into cubes.... I also have to concur with the other reviewers about the imitation brown rice- very strange! With that said, the chicken and beef are consistently good, and the veggies are fresh and not over cooked. When ordering tofu make sure to say without meat! Today I ordered delivery chinese food from this restaurant because I was at work and wanted to get something to eat before my next meeting. The food was delivered promptly and was hot. Ordered by my friend, who was standing next to me while on the phone ordering, was two food orders one of which was for Szechuan Tofu. The Szechuan Tofu came with meat in it, not sure what kind of meat. I am ova vegan, I eat eggs but no meat, luckily I saw the meat on top once I opened the dish. Had I eaten the food I would have been extremely ill. Contacted the owner, explained the situation he made it very clear that I should have specified that I do not want any meat with my Tofu. He stated that since I was not the one who made the order ( I was standing next to my friend while she ordered) that I do not know what was ordered. Just wanted a rectification either the correct order or a credit to the account. The Owner was argumentative and insistent that he did not make a mistake because he took the order. He repeated over and over that he did not make a mistake. I just wanted a resolution. To get a refund I must take the food to the store. The yelling was too much. Good food should come with good service and a respect for the customer. read more

This is a nice Chinese fast food restaurant, with a convenient location and very affordable prices. For what you pay, you get good food. Staff is nice and fast. It has a couple of tables if you want to eat in there. I usually get General Tso's Chicken. read more
