You'd expect good service when spending 7,000. We had a great experience in the store with the sales rep. The sales associate we worked with did an outstanding job and was precise with what we wanted. Unfortunately, it went straight downhill from there. Somewhere between production, measurement and installation the entire service became lost. Our 7k blinds arrived: 1) The wrong curtains we ordered. 2) Missing items from our order To top it off, our install member never steamed our curtains like promised and he said he'd do it next time he came once he got the missing items(two weeks later, next time hasn't happened.) Now our curtains look like dirty crumpled laundry hanging. When we contacted blinds to go, the solution was another charge for a missing curtain rod that they forgot. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with Blinds To Go and feel others should be aware. I initially went into this process intending to purchase roller shades. After an in-home consultation and several store visits, I decided to do cellular shades in two rooms and wood shades in the remaining rooms. When I was informed of the cost of real wood shades, the store manager persuaded me to switch to faux wood, assuring me the quality would be superior to what you'd find at Home Depot. That assurance was incorrect. When the first faux wood blind was installed, it was immediately clear that the quality was poor and the product was damaged and dirty. There was a visible dent, bent PVC voids, and the center cord never stays centered, consistently pulling the slats to the left. These issues were reported immediately, photos were shared right away, and I refused to have the remaining faux wood blinds installed. They were returned to the store. I attempted to come to a reasonable resolution by asking to reselect and install cellular shades instead in those rooms. This request was denied immediately. During this conversation, the store manager was dismissive and made unprofessional and inappropriate remarks, including telling me I was "a grown woman" and implying she was not responsible for guiding my decision. She also made unnecessary comments about my husband, which had no place in a customer service discussion. Despite the damaged product being returned and never fully installed, I was told I was essentially stuck because I had "signed the papers." I also contacted corporate, was told someone would call me back, and no one ever did. The cellular shades themselves were fine overall, however I was never advised that the top-down/bottom-up feature is impractical for high windows, as it is difficult to reach. I was also sold the wrong remote for the motorized cellular shades and experienced a motor issue days after installation. It then took two weeks just to schedule service, further reflecting poor follow-through. I had planned to use Blinds To Go for three additional rooms in my home, but after this experience, I will not return. This process felt focused on making a sale rather than advising the customer, and when issues arose, there was no accountability or effort to resolve them. I would strongly caution others to ask detailed functional questions, carefully inspect products, and get all assurances in writing before committing. In case anyone is wondering I'm still waiting for Blinds To Go to reach out and make it right. I guess the bot they have replying is just to make people think they are trying to resolve the complaints. read more

The lifetime warranty on their products is an absolute life saver! I came in to replace a previously purchased set of blinds. The salesperson reminded me that I simply needed to bring my track in and the repair would be covered. I was walked through the entire process and it was seamless! Blinds to go are quick to take your money, but not so quick to give you your refund. After a month and a half and 2 installation attempts, 6 faulty roller shades were returned to the store 2xs. I was told multiple times it was a tension issue after the 1st return and that they fix it. After the 2nd installation attemp and the shades were still not working, I told them I wanted a full refund for my 1300.00, they tried to get me to upgrade to this or that, all of which I didn't want. On March 19th I was told the refund process would start and that it would take 3-5 business days, well this past Friday it was 6 business days and still no refund. Blinds To Go has one of the worst customer service departments. Destiny and Kaylee, the customer service managers, are unapologetic, rude, and not helpful. The valance I purchased is falling apart and Blinds To Go does not stand by their product. I ordered a roller shade in February 2022 and paid in full. The install date was April 5th. Since then, the installer(s) had to come back on April 27, May 6, June 6, June 17, August 11, and September 30 and I still do not have a shade that works properly. Through a faulty design, the installation manager recommended a 1 piece shade for my patio doors. The shade came in without the remote controller. I was advised that it should not take more than a week. On October 7th, I received a voicemail message from customer service, claiming the blind was on backorder. I am not sure how that could be when the blind was available a week ago and I stopped the installer from putting it up because the remote was missing from the box. Customer service attempted to cancel the installer from coming to my home between the install dates. On October 22, I called the corporate office at Blinds To Go to voice a complaint. The receptionist said all she could do was transfer me to the customer service department. I advised customer service if I did not receive a call back within 24hrs, I would put a complaint in with the Better Business Bureau. As expected, no callback. I entered a complaint with BBB and Blinds To Go never responded. To date, my shade is still not installed and the valance is falling apart. read more

Got my custom roller shades here. Service was very good. Sales lady was very patient and informative. She even gave us some helpful tips. Price was a little more than I though but custom stuff always costs more. The shades are a perfect fit for my three panoramic windows. I went in with great expectations and placed a large order. From the beginning the experience has been a disaster. Even though the sales associate Doug was great to work with, the amount of mistakes and the inconvenience they caused me ensured that I will not shop there again. The quality of the product was nice, however the execution was awful. They charged me $400 per shade on average and the factory could not even get it produced correctly. The colors were wrong, items were back ordered, messed up the sizes, tried to overcharge me, etc. I had to drive to the store for multiple issues and my blinds are still not perfect. What a headache after paying thousands of dollars!! Also, the showroom is an outdated, dirty mess and the salespeople do not dress professionally- tank tops and inappropriate cleavage is not what you wear. If you have to use the bathroom, you better hold it till you get out of there-disgusting! Corporate office has tried to mend the issues by giving me a small credit, but this still has not improved my experience. Highly unlikely that i will recommend to anyone or shop there in the future.
