Their products are very nice once installed. The problem comes when you try to install the roll up shades yourself. Due to a change in the way the shades are made, you need an extra metal piece in order for the shades to roll up. These pieces are not included with the packaging. After wasting your time trying to install them, you have to call the store to find out you are missing the piece. The Paramus store gave excellent service both on initial visit and after my shades had been manufactured. I was not happy with the installer as he mismeasured all 3 windows and the company now has to manufacture 3 additional shades. I am hoping he measured right the second time. read more

This store is horrible!!! I wish I could give it negative stars but unfortunately it won't allow me. We ordered blinds for our restaurant and when they came in they were extremely wrinkled and not right I called customer service and they would not do anything for me. The blinds were already hung because we thought the wrinkles would come out but they did not. On top of the blinds being wrong the wrong brackets were given to us as well, we had to go all the way to the store to get the correct brackets. We paid a lot of money to hang the years and the only way we can get a refund or have them fixed was if we took them off and return them to the store we try to make it easy for them we wanted a little bit of credit for a future purchases and they would not do anything they would not replace them they would not give us a store credit they did nothing. Customer service was a joke whoever the manager was was a joke... For a store that prides themselves on being custom and have the best customer service, I would never recommend this store to anyone nor EVER shop here again!! We spent a lot of money on these blinds that we ordered and to get treated like shit and to have nothing done or nobody try to be helpful or accommodating it was very disappointing. read more

This review was for an order that was placed at the Totowa NJ store but thought you should know what I experienced. I picked up my blinds and after driving 45 minutes to get back home, the spacers were missing which meant I was unable to install the blinds. After being placed on hold for quite some time, I was told they have them at the store and could pick them up. I told the manager that she can drive the 45 minutes each way and drop them off at my house. She told me that they can send them next day delivery for me which I agreed to. All lies, they arrived 6 days later. Ended up buying stock blinds at a local store since I needed them for company. Tried to return blinds since I was not able to use them due to the fact all parts were not delivered and was told that they are a special order so I couldn't return. Everything in the store is a special order!!! Tried to dispute this with credit card company and store gave me a credit of $20. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy from Blinds to Go. Not worth the aggravation when you can buy someplace else and get a complete product that you actually paid for. read more

I ordered blinds for 2 windows and both had mistakes. The brackets didn't match and one of the chains was too long for the window length. I was told the fabric would give me enough privacy for a bedroom - no way! read more

Have used this particular Blinds to Go location may times, never disappointed with the service, which is uniformly efficient and knowledgeable. The ordering process is easy, the fabrication is quick and the blinds are exactly what we expected. This was perhaps one of the worst experiences I have ever had. When I initially went to the store to look for window treatments, I was pleased with the service. Unfortunately, it all went downhill from there! Prior to ordering blinds for 2 bedrooms, I was provided a list of "preferred installers who would also come and measure. I chose Ron from Ron's blinds. I made an appointment with him for the measurement. After the measurements were done and sent to Blinds to Go, I had been told it would be about 6 days for production. A month later I was calling to find out the status of my blinds. When they finally came in, I had to wait for Ron to fit me in to his scheduled. Approximately 10 days later, I had an appointment for installation. Ron became so delayed at his previous appointment that he needed to reschedule. My husband had taken off of work to sit and wait. The second appointment was scheduled for the next day. When Ron's assistant, (a nice guy named Kevin), arrived and took the blinds out of the box, he noticed the blinds were cut wrong. The master bedroom blinds were cut to the size of the guest bedroom. Needless to say I was furious and this was the second day my husband had to change his work schedule. When i contacted the store, my first frustration occurred when I realized NOBODY answers the phone. When someone finally answered, I went directly to the manager Carmen. I really just wanted a full refund at that point but Carmen wouldn't do it, in fact said it wasn't possible. After much negotiation, and a refund of 20% of my original purchase price, I decided to give them the opportunity to make things right. I was told the new (correct) order would be placed that day and would be expedited. Three weeks later I had to call Carmen to find out what her definition of expedited meant since my blinds were still not in. Later that day she called me to tell me they would be in the next business day. Again I needed to wait for Ron the installer to have time to fit me in. When the day for my appointment finally arrived, Ron called me at noon, for an appoinntment that was supposed to be between 2-4, to tell me he wouldn't be able to come. After arguing with Ron, he agreed to come the next day. You will never believe this.....but yes....again....my blinds were cut the wrong way!! I'm sure I don't need to explain how beyond angry I was at this point. I immediately contacted American Express to dispute the charge. Again, I could not get in touch with the store because NOBODY ever picks up the phone. After American Express gave me a corporate number, I was able to get in touch with someone who could help. Esther from the Route 17 store took the time to listen to me and help me get my full refund. This was possibly the worst experience of customer service I have ever had. I would never go to, or recommend them to anyone. In addition, I would not recommend Ron's Blinds either. He was unprofessional and at times rude. I would say, "you get what you pay for", however, what I purchased was not inexpensive!! read more
