From the start, there was very little communication. She only asked the standard questions about retinol use, antibiotics, and similar medical information, but she never explained the treatment process or what to expect during the session. What concerned me most was the treatment itself. The technician did not mark or properly assess the treatment areas, and it felt like she was simply guessing rather than being precise. She didn't pause to check that every area had been treated evenly. When I asked her to lower the air pressure because I was uncomfortable, my request was ignored. This location is not the same since the previous technicians left. The level of professionalism and attention to detail has noticeably declined. There was no welcoming atmosphere, no effort to make me feel comfortable, and no sense of structure. What was especially frustrating is that there wasn't a single other client waiting, yet the technician still rushed through my appointment. The session was completed much faster than expected, and I honestly do not believe all of the treatment areas were covered properly. Laser hair removal should be performed carefully and methodically. The technician should be checking that every section is treated evenly rather than rushing through the appointment. I love Raheela!! This was my first time getting my lashe extensions done since moving to NYC so I was pretty nervous and excited at the same time! I am very particular on how I like my lashes (fluffy, glamorous, and full) I found out about Blink Lash Club from Groupon and I purchased the Full Set but when I got to my appointment I paid an extra $20 for additional lashes because of the style I desired. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!! These lashes are worth every penny!! I also have VERY sensitive skin so she recommended a special Lash glue to use which was an additional $10. I honestly didn't mind paying that either because eye safety is sooo important and in the past I have had lashes done and the glue had a strong odor and burned but this glue had none of those issues! My lashes came out flawless... I got so many compliments I only had a few lashes fall out and she is such a sweetie and fixed them for me!! I will 100% continue to get my lashes done here. I had my first full set of lashes at some place uptown with a Groupon. Didn't really love the way they looked two weeks in, so did some research and found Raheela. She was very kind and talked me through my needs. She gave me a wonderful set that looked natural (four different lengths of lash) and complemented my features! Then they actually fell out because of a series of unfortunate events, including me physically pulling out a lot (my real lashes along with them!) but I called Raheela the next day and came in for a new full set just hours later for no cost. She really saved my face! Raheela and her husband are so nice, they really care about your experience and want you to be happy. She concentrates fully on you for the entire duration and makes sure you are pleased with your results, days and weeks after your appointment. I had a great experience having an eyelash perm done for my first time! So friendly and comfortable! I was nervous going into it because I didn't know what to expect but she made me feel at ease! Told me step by step how the process was done and couldn't of been sweeter. The results were amazing! My eyelashes are curled up perfectly and look longer! This was my third lash perm with Raheela, and she is just lovely. She was away getting recertified/continuing education for a month and I waited until she returned. She takes pride in her work and will work with you to make sure you are happy with the result. My lashes are somewhat obstinate but Raheela is patient and will do whatever it takes (never to the detriment of your lashes!) until you are satisfied. Thank you, Raheela, see you soon! read more

Horrible service, first of all what a ripoff they are of the last brow bar I went to (Wink). Literally they tried to copy and paste the entire service menu, but the quality of their work is definitely not up to par! Never going back here again, very sloppy work and horrible customer service, I did not get the attention I should have for my brows. Now one of them is curved and the other is arched!! The space is so beautiful with comfy beds and super soft blankets so you can relax but their work is incredible.They give you different options, like shapes, style according to your face feature and provide recommendations to make sure you are getting what you want. My eyebrows are hard to style because they're shorter, but she got the arch I wanted and was patient with me, as I pointed out the features of the look I was hoping to achieve. Nevertheless, this is NY even when you do get a cancellation you still don't have a cancellation because someone else will come along and take the spot, not saying it makes it ok to cancel on businesses under this pretense but it's about being considerate. I made my appointment a week in advance and if I knew a week ago when I booked my appointment that I was going to catch a stomach bug that would cause me to feel like I had been turned inside out the day of the appointment then I wouldn't have booked it. It wasn't enough for them to text me about it when I call to confront them but they also gave me someone else's credit card number that they had ALSO added to my profile and divulged the information. I also expressed not wanting to be used for the apprentice of a new technician because I am paying for a training session that should happen under your own time and definitely with your own staff until the person is ready to be on the floor, I told them to please just have someone who has experience working with nails (for which I already had Japanese gel on and they were saying that they needed to remove it and it would be $35 more even though I literally explained to them the material was new and I was only getting my nails done to change the color NOT the material) and they just straight up refused. They are very rude and money hungry because they took on a spot that requires you to have a solid background of clients. I have seen businesses come and go in less than a year in the same spot because they cannot make the money necessary to pay for their rent so I understand what position she might be in but extorting people for money when last minute emergencies happen is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Then she said to still come in to the salon and that she would give me a 20% discount on the final bill, so she's rather risk her employees health along with other clients catching something that is clearly wreaking the immune system all to make sure they are paid. Before this I had only visited once, there was no courtesy extended for a first time cancellation or even the resolution of the issue by reschuling for a day when I wasn't sick just a straight up attach because I was sick and they were loosing money and would've preferred I got their staff sick than miss the appointment. The first time I visited the place was clean, I did have to wait 15 mins after my appointment to be seated for eyelashes and the lashes only lasted like a week and even then immediately after leaving the salon a lot of the hairs started to fall out, they do not work HAIR by HAIR, they group like 4-6 of your lashes together and glue them with the fake ones they put on so the job is done fast YES but not effectively leaving you with lasting results. Very sad for them and their business because like this they will be closing soon since nobody wants to deal with being mistreated in this way. I have left screenshots of what I did manage to get via text so they cannot say that they didn't do any of the things they are accused of here. When in NY and looking for a place to have your services done for DO NOT choose this one because it is convenient because in the long run you will regret having spent your money with them.
