I visited Blink Lash Club for the first time after being recommended by my roommate, and now am convinced this is going to be my neighborhood lash spot. I've gotten lash lifts and tints for years and have never been offered the option before to return within the next 72 hours if either service wasn't up to my liking. On top of that, the technician who was supposed to handle my appointment had a family emergency, leaving only one woman to manage all the clients inside at once. She did a phenomenal job staying attentive and set timers for each step in the process to avoid any over processing, even while juggling multiple different asks from customers inside the shop at once. The reclining chairs are quite comfortable and I nearly fell asleep in between treatments being applied, so I'll certainly be coming back to Blink Lash Club. read more

They lady booked me promptly and so I headed over, I did wait a few minutes as the place was closed upon arrival, despite an appt but it wasn't really a big deal. I had a Groupon which I I formed the lady at the store of, I forget her name- but she did a great job on my brows. What I liked is she was also patient and kind. Ambience- cute little shop in the village area, perfect location ideal for students or anyone passing through. She did a through job and kept asking every step of the way if I was satisfied, as once the hairs are gone there is no turning back. I appreciated her. Blink lashes saved the day! I was going to an event and in need of a good set eyelashes the day before. Most of the places I contacted do not accept same day appointment but Raheela picked up the phone! She set me up with an appointment with Massiel 40 minutes after we spoke. Massiel was the sweetest ever, even though it was a last minute appointment and it was late on a Friday, she waited so patiently for me, offered water, etc. And the most incredibly thing is, she is a magician when it comes to eyelashes. I had my lashes done in another place previously, but Massiel's work is so meticulous that every single lash is in upward position, in stead of pointing to different ways. I was visiting NYC for the summer and needed a fill. I've been getting my lashes done for years. I came to get a fill in the beginning of August and it was so poorly done, it ruined my natural lashes. The woman who did the job (I dont remember her name but it wasnt the owner) did a 5d fill with homemade 5d. I got home and had to physically pull off 5d lashes that were attached to my eyelid, not even a lash. There were 5d lashes applied underneath the lash and hit my eye lid constantly. I was in pain for a week until they grew out a bit. They looked fine from far away but up close they were clunky and botched looking. I would have come back to have them fixed (she said there was a 72 hr grace period to make any changes) but I left for Europe the next day. There's nothing I could have done. She was so sweet, we talked a lot about living in miami etc but job was just more damaging than anything else. I've honestly just never had an experience like this, I've been doing my lashes for years. I take good care of my lashes and have never had a problem. I have never asked for a refund on salon services but the job that was done was more of a detriment than a benefit. And it costed me and additional $300 for a full set 2 weeks later in Europe rather than the $50 fill price to get the problem fixed. I sent Blink a DM on instagram while I was traveling that went ignored, I never heard back. Finally when I returned to the states, I called and spoke with Raheela who was nice in the beginning and offered 20% off the next fill with her personally. I told her I didnt live in NY and I wont ever be getting my lashes done so I just kindly asked for my money back. She went to my IG dm and then gave some bullshit reason that she looked at the security tapes from 2 months ago and said her tech did the correct job. I'm sorry but my family has been in the restaurant business for decades - 1. Security footage isn't kept that long and 2. There's no physical way she could tell from the camera footage that far away whether or not she could see each individual lash being placed correctly. I asked what she saw in the footage that made her believe she did the correct job and she couldn't give me a straight answer. I asked her to send me the footage so I could see for myself but refused and suggested I pop in to take a look for myself (remember, I dont live in NY). Frankly, the owner didnt do absolutely anything to help my issue. Once she gave me the security tape excuse, I called bullshit. I think this is the only yelp complaint I've ever made in my life so you know it took a lot for me to take 5 min out of my day to write it. Enjoy the botched lash photos below :) read more

Appointment was not scheduled for enough time to include a thorough consultation. Was told to look thru a photo album to choose how I wanted my lashes to look. I chose the first option 'winky' something - my lashes did not turn out as expected. I suggest if you visit this particular provider-ensure enough time is booked for your appointment - just in case you need additional time for corrections. Ensure sealant is applied.
