When I first went to Stephanie, I was nervous and desperate. I had been going to Michelle for over a year and been paying quite a bit of money for eyelashes that would start falling out in clumps within 7 days of getting my fills. Michelle told me it was because MY eyelashes were falling out and would charge me full price for new fills. She was also giving me cartoon length eyelashes which looked quite unrealistic. (I didn't really see it at the time- my friends and daughters confirmed after the fact!) At the time I let her make me think the problems were with me...my hair cycle, my age (57), the way I slept, etc. Finally, after one fill, I lost big chunks of eyelashes after only 4 days. I looked ridiculous with more than half of my lashes missing in the center of my lids. Let me first say that a) I am great tipper and b) I am a pushover. In other words, I don't complain. So when I attempted to contact Michelle (and it took multiple attempts) and the response I got was that she was booked and I'd have to wait 3 weeks for a fill appointment, I figured I needed to move on. I found Stephanie through her Yelp reviews. Thank goodness I did! She showed me how my eyelashes had been applied by brushing a glob of glue across my lid and then sticking the lashes in in clumps. (No wonder they came out in clumps!). She also reapplied a more realistic looking lash length. I was stunned at the difference. She taught me so much about the process and gave me some tremendous recommendations for eyelash care products. To top it off, her prices were so much better than I had been paying! Needless to say, I have been with Stephanie ever since. Stephanie is absolutely amazing! She makes my eyelashes look so beautiful, full, long, and most importantly, natural. I am so happy with the way my eyes look every time I leave, and am always surprised at how long the lashes last given the natural process of hair follicle cycles and hair growth. In case you haven't figured it out by now, my lashes no longer fall out in clumps. I can go 3+ weeks before I need a fill. And get this... I have an eye condition requiring monthly visits to an ophthalmologist for a shot. I always ask that they not rub my lashes because of the extensions and the nurses and technicians are always stunned that my lashes have extensions! Stephanie does a fantastic job applying the lashes as well. It can take some time considering the lashes are being applied individually, but she is so adept at it that she makes the application process seem like nothing at at all. She has such a gentle hand that I have even fallen asleep while she is doing my fills. Yet she is also one of the nicest people you'll ever meet and I have so enjoyed talking with her that I have hardly noticed the time. She works from her home and has a nice professional set-up. Her application chair is so comfortable. She has a lovely family and her kids are adorable. I highly, highly recommend her. read more
