It's hard to understate how terrible both of my experiences were here. First time I came for an appointment, it was for a new set of gel acrylics. the nails were misshapen and lengths were off. the colors I wanted were both unavailable so I settled for a color I was not happy with. The edges of my nails were sharp and i had to go home and file them down. I gave this salon another shot, and it ended up being a mistake. I asked for a basic manicure. I made it very clear over the phone when booking the appointment, and I made it clear when I arrived at the front desk. The nail tech spent 10 mins trying to convince me to do gel. Why do I have to argue with you? I don't want gel. It ruins my nails. Finally she gives in. shapes my nails for about 30 seconds, cut 4 cuticles. the paint job was awful, almost like she was annoyed with me and chose to take it out on my nails. Also, as the base coat, she used an odd clear GREEN nail polish which I am certain made my nails chip the very next day. When she did my hand massage it consisted of her putting a glob of cream on my hand and pointing to me to rub it in my hands. She painted my nails and the color was all over my fingers. When she waved me over to the drying station I asked her to clean up my fingers, I asked for some nail polish remover since she did not want to do it. She ended up PAINTING MY SKIN WITH CLEAR NAIL POLISH AND SCRATCHING IT OFF WITH HER NAIL. I wish I was making this up. My feeling is the whole experience was intentionally awful since I asked for a basic manicure, and if that's your business model you should be ashamed of yourself. 0 stars. read more

I went in a week ago as a walk in for a gel manicure and pedicure. It was a Wednesday afternoon and I was sat immediately. A gentlemen came to do my feel and the whole experience was rushed. I didn't realize how poorly he was doing because I was preoccupied having a conversation with a friend. He then does my hands and that's when I realize he was rushing and doing poorly. I had to stop him several times to tell him what shape I wanted or look at the job he was doing. By the time I got home I noticed there was gel stuck to the cuticles on my feet, the nails were barely filed down. My hands were not still had cuticle growth and were janky. The facility looked pretty and clean but a week later and my nails are already chipping and lifting. I will never go here again and wouldn't recommend. read more

I needed a pedicure in a clutch. This was near my job never been before arrived and the place was beautiful. I'm a tall person and the pedicure chair did not go back far enough to allow me to be comfortable while getting my pedicure. I spoke my concern they tried to move it back and it couldn't go no further. My hip and thigh area continued to cramp but I pushed thru. When I checked out I spoke my concerns again and nothing. just a repeat of price. No apologies but the man did say that's a manufacture problem. I was in awe and just let them know I'd never be back nor would I recommend. Fast forward to today. I go back to my regular nail tech to find that I have fungus on both big toes it was one thing to be treated bad with bad customer service but then to get foot fungus which in my 50 years of living never had I'm mad Big Mad! Very disappointing and concerning experience. I came in for a simple French acrylic set, but unfortunately, the quality was extremely poor. The French lines were uneven, each nail had a visible line and the acrylic was applied sloppily and was flooding my cuticles. The nails were curving upward in an unnatural way, and when I politely asked the technician to fix them, she filed it a bit to appease me but ultimately dismissed my concerns. What really worried me was the hygiene. While filing the underside of my nails, she accidentally cut me on three fingers while i did not notice the first two right away i did however feel it on the third and it began to bleed a lot while she filed the nail and the rough edge cut my skin. Instead of discarding the nail file, she put it --with visible blood on its surface BACK INTO THE DRAWER!! I was shocked to say the least!! how many times has she done that before?! I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt this needed to be shared. I hope the salon addresses these issues and improves both their quality of service and their health standards. read more

This place is immaculately clean. However, my pedicure was below average. It was extremely fast. My nail polish is chipped at the edges, my nails aren't smooth, neither are my heels. The top coat was put on so haphazardly that portions of my polish are more matted while other spots are shiny. They're streaky. They have bubbles in them. Not happy with my first time at Blink Nails. Had a regular manicure and pedicure which took a total of 26 minutes. Plus 10 more minutes to dry my nails My manicure I only wanted clear on the nails. He went to apply the clear and did not remove the old clear yet. I stopped him. He then really fast wiped off some of the old, put oil in my Nails and brought me to the pedicure chair He now quickly trims the cuticles and then takes out the purple scrubber. Scrubs the bottom of my feet for about maybe a minute or so each foot doesn't even look to see if it needs a little more took a nail brush out and maybe scrubbed each foot 20 seconds they have this package of two different type lotions that they put on your legs. Slaps the polish on done. He then walks me over to the nail dryer and I said what about the clear on my nails? He went and grabbed clear slapped one coat on my nails over the still leftover old nail polish and said OK you're done. Yes, I paid and yeah, I gave him a tip, but this is a true review. Never will I go back to that place I only went there because the place I love was too busy for me to get appointment for a week. I just figured I'll try this place once never ever again. BTW. I srill was very polite when asking for him to remove the old polish and then later, asking him to put some clear on my nails. I went back to Blink Nails after a nail mishap this past weekend. I was really surprised. Some places give you a bad attitude and refuse to help you, but to my surprise the front desk person was very open to helping me. Nancy did an amazing job rectifying the situation and actually did an amazing job. She was patient, detailed, professional and experienced. I know nothing about nails so having someone that can be honest and give you ideas is wonderful. She is a keeper and will be my go to person. read more

Age discrimination and inhumane are their hallmarks. My mother (94) came last week with an appointment for a pedi as she prepared for my dad's memorial / 100th birthday celebration on Saturday (delayed funeral due to covid locklowns). When she arrived she was told that they didn't have anyone who could do the pedi, although there were several employees laying around doing nothing. Her companion asked what was going on, and the owner said she was TOO OLD TO GET A PEDICURE and refused to let her sit in any of the open chairs. They'd been customers since the place opened, so her friend's tech offered to do have my mom sit on a folding chair and do a quick pedi (at full price), but she couldn't get the usual experience. Instead of a relaxing day before finally being able to give her husband of 64 years a final send-off, she instead was embarrassed and left stressed. Shame on this owner, hopefully someone with a sense of humanity buys him out and puts him out to pasture! read more

I made an appointment the day before for a new set and a pedicure. I started with "Jenn." She began removing my acrylics without soaking first. I asked her to please soak them off because the damage caused by filing and the pain are unnecessary. The woman next to her immediately chimed in speaking Vietnamese. Jenn asked if she could try without soaking. I said I do not want that. From there, everything went south. I understand it's a little more work to soak, so I asked for my pedicure first. She did the worst pedicure I have ever had! Afterward, she asked me to sit in the front because someone else would finish my nails. Thirty minutes later, I figured the whole shop thought I was a problem. I paid for my unsatisfactory pedi and talked with the manager, who definitely had a language barrier. He couldn't care less. Probably one of the worst places in the area. Tech that did pedicure didn't even bother to clean under all the nails. Water was like warm. Massage less than 3 min total. Tech that did dip powder manicure appeared to have never done one before. She didn't know the steps of applying the products. Two nails are missing powder on the sides. Each nail was sharp as a knife on the corners. I had to re-file myself despite me telling her 3 times to soften the sides. Cuticles are a mess. Didn't ask me to wash my hands after she was done. And all the tools that both techs used were NOT sterilized. Both used things right from their drawers. It's a complete nail factory. HORRIBLE. Would never recommend to anyone. The place was nice and clean. The decor was modern and spacious. I wouldn't recommend or go back because of the quality of the work. My pedicure took about 10 minutes.
