This place is good. I'm not sure why it's never busy when I go in around 5pm; might just be their slow time. But, the food is reasonably priced, tasty, and the ingredients are pretty fresh. Everyone's always been nice to me the two times I've gone. I used to love Bliss and Vinegar years ago, and then I'm sure Covid times had an affect on their restaurant, however this place has gone completely downhill. They used to have a cooler full of treats and drinks they made they and purchased, now it's shut off and empty. They used to offer beverages and flavored waters in their glass dispenser on the counter, now it's warm water that's been sitting there all day. The quality of food used to be great. Now the chicken is so dry it was like eating chewy celery. I purchase the "Bruce-Rito" and was surprised to see it in an overly processed white tortilla when they pride themselves on being a healthy restaurant. I asked for the chipotle ranch dressing on the side which was like water, so I couldn't really use it. After a couple bites I wasn't getting much besides spinach, and when I opened it up that's basically what I got: a burrito full of spinach. Totally not worth the $10; I'll never be back. Aside from that, the girl that took my order and made my food barely wanted to talk to me and was pretty unfriendly, and the girl that rang me up wasn't much better. I ate it all because I loved the taste, but I didn't need to finish it! Again, big portion size. Worth the price in my opinion. My fiancé forced me to try this place because she is into the quick/healthy options and loves the vegetarian options they have. I tried the Tommy Smokes wrap and it was average to me. I don't have much to compare it to since this style of food is new to me but the flavors were average. She had the southwest chicken bowl and finished it all pretty quickly. Not being a health not, I didn't even know what half of the ingredients were. Overall, the staff was friendly/helpful, the service was quick, and the food was decent but this just isn't my cup of tea. For those of us that still throw caution to the wind and eat like we are kids this may not be a favorite. That being said I have found a quinoa bowl that I build that I love. The menu can be overwhelming at first especially if you are going to build your own as there is a lot of options. I would suggest ordering online if you intend to carry out (inside dining is limited) and this will give you stress free time to think through your choices. Bliss and vinegar used to be my go to for a healthy stop on the go. The staff was always nice and food was fresh. Recently, seems to be after the sale of the restaurant, quality has gone down hill. I get the same salad that I build almost every time and have never paid the same price with each visit. I recently paid 19$ for one salad and at that point I happily paid knowing it was my last one there. Freshness has gone down dramatically. The steak they use is basically dried kibble they keep passing from day to day. Maybe if they had a fresh steak LED sign like crispy cream for fresh donuts I would go. Bliss & Vinegar ended up being perfect for us, the salads were really good (as good as a salad can be) and the peanut butter protein bar was honestly amazing. The PB bar was tiny, so that was disappointing - I don't remember how much it cost, but I'm sure it cost too much for how small it was. It was seriously like the size of a small LEGO piece. Apart from that, great experience, and I'll definitely come back here whenever I'm back for work. After a lackluster first visit to Bliss & Vinegar, the owner reached out to me via Yelp with an acknowledgement that what I experienced wasn't in line with who they are, and offered an apology. I really appreciate it when owners and managers take the time to read their reviews and want to make it right for their customers, so with that, I stopped back in for lunch this past Friday. Walking in, I found the restaurant just as clean, cute, and cozy as before. I must have made it right after the lunch rush because there wasn't much of a line when I arrived. I stuck with what I had before - the vegan bliss bowl- and was delighted that it was just as fresh, tasty, and colorful as I had experienced prior. Filled with kale, quinoa, broccoli, cranberries, walnuts, and other good for you items, it filled me up all day. Unfortunately, I wasn't ale to stay and eat, but there was some jealous looks from coworkers when I came back to the office with such an awesome looking salad. Most importantly, the staff was friendly, quick, competent and more than helpful in responding to questions and concerns that other customers had behind me. My experience with the staff was a 180-degree difference than before. And my stomach is grateful that I gave this place another chance - so yummy. OK, I saw that the owner of Bliss & Vinegar had responded to someone else's review addressing the poor customer service that their patrons were experiencing. I stopped in today to see if there was any improvement and there definitely was. Both employees were friendly. I was greeted when I entered, they prepared my big meat bowl quickly and told me to have a good day. Huge improvement over my previous visit! Clean and healthy eating. Food tasted fresh. I really like how you can customize what you want in your salad, bowl, wrap whatever. Prices are moderate--you can get a nice salad with protein around the same price as a smoothie from next door. One star off-- Staff was really slow probably because it's a new business and they are likely learning the menu themselves. That being said, it took about 30 minutes from waiting in line (with 2-3 people ahead of me) and getting my food and walking out the door. This was right before noon. That is inconvenient since they advertise on their website that they are fast and fresh. Something for them to work on. Would have been somewhat tolerable if I wasn't with two hungry toddler boys. :-/ Ordered the Gaucho (steak wrap with various veggies). I would say it could have used more meat inside...or maybe I was getting hangry from waiting so long? Anyway. The wrap (looked like a burrito) is nowhere comparable to a Chipotle steak burrito that would have probably been more filling. I have now been here 3x and have more good experiences than bad. The big thing I think when you come in here is that you want to make sure you order something you know you are going to like. What I like about this place is that it's easy to have a tasty but healthy meal. They have a ton of salad, bowl, and wrap options with all different toppings and fillings. The staff is helpful and can offer suggestions if you aren't positive what you like. Some of the dressings are a little vinegary but it's in the name so I guess I can't really complain about that. I will say that I wasn't a huge fan of the "chili fries" but let's face it I came in for a salad and ended up getting those so I can only blame myself lol. So, after 2 visits I can understand why "vinegar" is in the name, because both salads had overwhelming acidity. I want to like this place, I really do, because I adore local businesses and ingredients, but unfortunately these salads aren't anything special and I cannot get over the mixture of temperatures. The warm ingredients plus cool ingredients make it room temperature. The salads are also wet/soggy for some reason. Yeah, this place is alright! Didn't know it existed until a friend mentioned it as a lunch option close to work and I was pleasantly surprised. Not a fancy sit-down restaurant but rather laid out like a subway with a counter where you order and they put your salad or wrap together. It is kind of a vegetarian-type place with healthy stuff but they do accommodate us carnivores with the option of few items containing steak & chicken. My friend ordered a salad and I had the wrap that includes steak, quinoa, spinach and some kind of avocado aioli. Yummy. I liked it so much I actually ordered one to take home. After finding a bottle of your delicious white balsamic in a friends refrigerator, I was dying to get in and try the whole experience. The foods great, the idea is amazing.... but some of your staff need an attitude adjustment. This is disappointing because I read a review before I visited about this same issue. The woman making my salad was BEYOND rude and snappy with me for no reason at all-this is not acceptable. If you're in the food industry (or any industry for that matter) you greet each guest with a smile. No exceptions. Food was quite good and unique but the service will prevent me from returning. I have been there twice and both times have been treated poorly. The lime Sriracha dressing is a perfect blend of acidic and heat. The tofu is prepared to perfection...assuming they do something to it. I thought it was chicken the first time I had it.
