    Private room - nice!

Karaoke time in Kalihi, Honolulu, Hawaii... We all got a chance to try a place that's new to us! Bliss Lounge on Dillingham Boulevard was a pleasant change of atmosphere! The clean, convenient restrooms and free shared parking lot (with Soul Chicken, Hana Tea, Lox of Bagels, and Yohei Sushi) were much appreciated! We decided to sit in the private room (instead of the lounge with the stage). The friendly female worker thought that we could make the $100 room minimum easily. Yes! We ordered the Chicken Combo (honey Chicken, French Fries, shoyu chicken, and mandoo); pan-seared ribeye (with mushrooms and onions), three diet Cokes, and a pitcher of fresh strawberry soju. Everything was delicious! Mr. Park helped us with the sound system. He was polite and patient with our questions. He also encouraged us to return on a weekday when soju is half off! LOL! Note: songs were $2 each. Feed the bills into the machine. $20 bills are acceptable.

Karaoke, Friends and Chicken...our own KFC! Gathering at Bliss Lounge is the base behind Soul...literally as the storefront for Soul Chicken where you can find amazing fried chicken is made in Bliss Lounge which makes this a unique find. Along with Nadine, Peter and a friend arrived in the evening on a Saturday night and was surprised how empty it was a very spacious place with lots of bar top tables, a few booths and even a stage the vibe is a dark bar dive scene but was greeted by a sweet lady as I arrived a bit early. She showed me their private karaoke room in the back and it was nice and big enough to hold 8 adults with comfortable a/c light dimmer though an annoying disco ball that we couldn't figure out how to turn off lol! Yes we decided on the private room and it's free with minimum $100 food and drink purchase and songs are $2 each and make sure to ask for the English remote though with the device way up top entering songs was the real struggle of the night. We ordered Boneless Chicken Combo with Mandoo and Fries, Pan-seared ribeye Steak, and I had to get some Homemade real Fruit Soju (Strawberry) and this carnivore feast was delicious so bring your tribe and come hungry and the time limit for $100 feast in the private room is about 2hrs...depends on how busy they are we were told. They were very polite but just felt a bit condescending many times over the period we were there.

This place is associated with Soul Chicken. Their fried chicken comes from here. Auntie and I stopped by Soul Chicken for lunch one day. They had a few tables on the outside. The really nice cashier asked if we wanted to sit inside in the A/C instead. We said ok. We were the first customers in there that day so she just turned on the A/C. Two other tables soon followed. It was nice on the inside and the booths were comfortable. They also have karaoke if you like to sing. This place must be busy at night. I went to wash my hands in the bathroom after eating the chicken. I was surprised at how clean it was.

Been enjoying the Korean fried chicken and gimmari sold here for many months now. Today I got to hang out a bit inside Bliss Lounge. The food is from the adjoining business "Soul Chicken" and deeeelicious! My favorites so far being the KFC and the gimmari. They also have mandoo, onion rings, french fries, pork belly with kim chee, pan seared ribeye steak, and more. Comfort bar food! Looking forward to trying more dishes. The inside is casual comfortable and set up for fun times with friends. There is karaoke available in their main lounge as well as their private room that seats "maximumish" 10 persons (Additional persons maybe able to fit but could get a little stuffy inside). Karaoke is priced at $2 per song so if you are planning to sing, bring your dollar bills for the machine! Located in the same strip mall as Lox of Bagels and Hana tea on Dillingham. Entrance is just across Chicken and Brisket. Hang out with friends, eat some yummie food, sing a little (good for the digestion! :-) Protip: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday nites many drinks half off or greatly discounted!

Wings were crispy and tasty, watermelon soju was on the thicker side with lots of real fruit. Great ambience and vibe here. Host was friendly and attentive.

We were looking for bliss chicken after buying mochi at a place nearby and was surprised it was a karaoke bar. Come to find out it's all the same owner and they serve the same chicken, but here you can get stronger drinks and the combo is a better deal. A very pleasant, helpful and funny woman greeted us and made recommendations, which we went with and were very happy. She suggested the combo for $39 and the strawberry soju, both great recommendations. Also told us all Korean drinks, such as the soju juice we paid $24 are half off Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Definitely plan to come back then. It's karaoke/bar and interesting at about 1:30 pm, but liked the music.

We were missing our chicken and beer nights in Korea, so we we came to Soul Chicken (inside Bliss Lounge if the outside is closed).

The food brings me back to Korea, when we would have chicken and beer several hours after dinner. We took it to go, but maybe next time we'll stay to sing a song. Note:. Soul Chicken is inside Bliss Lounge after hours. So even if Soul Chicken is closed, u can still go inside the Karaoke bar.

    Chicken combo! So crispy

Came over for a drink with some friends. We didn't have a reservation, but we were able to find big table. It is very pretty inside, the decor gave me old Korean bar vibes. I heard they serve Soul chicken!! My favorite. This is a fun hang out place, will definitely come back. Perfect for my golf friends gathering.

Outside Soul Chicken window to order. Drink options on the counter.

If it wasn't for the food or straight drinks this place would be a no go. It looks kinda divey at first glance but it is just unique. This bar is service by Soul Chicken on Dillingham. The food is sooo good. You can order from Soul chicken and eat your food at the Bliss bar with drinks from the bar. The bar also has their own menu with items that aren't on the Soul Chicken menu. Some of these are... pan-seared ribeye steak, Sausage trio, White kimchi pork belly. However we just ordered from soul Chicken and went in to have a few drinks with our meal. The waitress looked like a patron and couldn't make a margarita. My bad, its not that kind of bar. We settled for A bottle of yogurt soju. We've had this before and it went well with the sweet spicy boneless chicken- my go to chicken, Gimmari-one of my faves, and the chicken salad-very different. Their delicious fried boneless chicken that is stupendously lightly battered, on top a bed of chopped romain, chopped colored peppers and sliced cucumbers, served with honey mustard. I didn't like the peppers but everything else was amazing. We drank our whole bottle shoyu and opted to try a pitcher of housemade strawberry shoyu- the flavor was delicious. It was made with fresh strawberries. However the bottled one had more alcohol potency. We were entertained by football and K-pop playing on the tv's. They do have a couple of dart boards and the bartenders is friendly. I'd go bac again if in the area. Just don't expect any mixed drinks LOL. Oh yeah they do have one enter neutral restroom that when you go in has one stall. The only catch is the outer door doesn't lock so you could be in the stall and a man can pop into the outer part of the restroom. Lucky for me the bar was empty but hey just saying. And the parking lot is big and free parking, hard to find out in Honolulu.

I actually had no idea that they had karaoke here-- I thought it was just a Korean restaurant, but the "Báng" here I am guessing corresponds to 방 in 노래방. We ordered the Seafood Pancake, Old-Fashioned KFC (Korean fried chicken), Mochiko Chicken, Jja Jang Ramen, and Cream Kimchi Udon for food. All were tasty and paired well with whatever drinks we ordered, which included flavored soju. Servers were quick to check in on us and bring our orders. The mechanic of karaoke here is that you pay for each song, which forces one to be more intentional with singing, but at the same time makes on less stressed about cramming in music within a set amount of time. I left before the rest of my group did, but it was the perfect venue for them to say goodbye to each other and share a moment as friends.

What a great find. Aya Golf Lounge is so much more than golf…read more I'm constantly exploring Honolulu and trying different restaurants and happy hours, and this place genuinely stands out. It has an upscale feel without feeling stuffy. The atmosphere is relaxed, everything is extremely clean and well maintained, and there's so much more to do than I expected -- golf, karaoke, electronic darts, a crane game, food and drinks. The private golf rooms are huge and set up for different levels and types of golfers, and they also have karaoke in the rooms where you can simply pay per song. You could easily come here with golfers and non-golfers and everyone would have something to do. The food and happy hour are fantastic. I had the pork nachos, Maui onion salad and a dirty vodka martini, and my entire bill was under $40 during happy hour. For Honolulu, especially with this atmosphere and level of service, that is an incredible value. And the food was genuinely delicious. What impressed me most, though, was the staff. Koi was an absolute sweetheart. She paid attention to the little things and showed a level of care that you don't encounter everywhere. I was recording some content for social media, and everyone was incredibly accommodating. At one point I was getting warm in the corner where I was sitting, and Koi immediately offered to move me to the other side of the restaurant so I would be more comfortable. She was constantly attentive without hovering, and you could tell that she genuinely cared about my experience. Kino, the bartender, was also wonderful -- very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. He took the time to show me around, explain the different golf rooms and answer my questions rather than just pointing me in a direction. That kind of service makes a huge difference. Between the cleanliness, food, prices, golf rooms, karaoke, electronic darts, location, games and especially the service, Aya has created a really unique experience. Come for happy hour even if you don't golf. I absolutely plan on coming back. Koi and Kino made an already great place even better.

Took over 4 days to recover And preemptively, please don't victim shame and blame. We are 50 years old. Have a lot of experience with alcohol and very well. Know the difference between over indulgence and being drugged. We were both drugged once before in our lives. Owner Please review the footage at the time of shift change when Cedric was getting off shift. It's obviously too late to help us, but if we could prevent this from happening to anyone else there. Please spread the word. This is a big problem in bars. It's come to having a drink test kits or staying at home to have some drinks. Unfortunately, there are some evil people out there. Please help people if you see someone like this don't assume they have had too much they may need to get to a hospital . . People die, have seizures and of course we all know how easy to be assaulted when so incapacitated . *^**Response from owner was that I should not have spoken out publicly but reached out to contact him privately . my response was that I wanted to send a loud and clear message to the perpetrator( all fun and games until the FELOny charges ) to not do this again in your bar and owner suggested that perhaps it happened somewhere else and this and that this has never occurred in his establishment 26 years, however we went nowhere before or afterwards. Also, owner stated bartender, said we left we were walking steadily that we looked fine when we left when actually I was a zombie with no recollection of leaving. This is the hallmark of being roofied. if I was" blackout drunk", which I would've had to have been to not recall anything after 30 min in your bar or leaving or 8 hours to follow. I would not have been "walking steadily" as you stated. Unfortunately, denying this actually happened or staying quiet is not the way to try to fix this problem. It is very widespread.. in California some years back they passed a law that bars must post signs to raise awareness of being roofied and offer drink spike test kits at cost as a bar owner please do all you can to ensure what is within your control this does not happen again in your bar educate yourself and staff what to look for and what to do ALSo ... since you just announced publicly you have a poor video monitoring system and apologized you could provide me any info ... that is more for an owner who has a lot more to lose if his staff or patrons are drugging patrons YOU stand to lose a lot more if there is a bad outcome ( ie death by choking ala Elvis style) . Food for thought . All this aside I think the in between is a super karaoke cool bar at least what I remember .
