It was me and my friends first time there, we had gotten there a bit earlier than the disney karaoke event was supposed to start, we were vibing with 2 diff groups of people. We had a rough experience with two young men who worked in the establishment, i mean this in no racist way but the young asian man came up to us and told us that he got an anonymous tip saying if we don't know what the lyrics are don't sing which in our case we were vibing so it didn't matter, another young black man had came up to us right after it was our turn to sing and had said that someone else wanted to sing and we asked politely if we could just do one more song and then we would head out, he then proceeded to tell us the customer he was giving it to was his mom and obviously we are going to let him take it but he ended up giving it to another group of people which we had no issue with there was just no reason to lie, those two young men were also galavanting the entire night and definitely not doing their job. The girl who had dressed as Kim Possible was an absolute sweetheart we had told her our experience and she humbly apologized on their behalf and she was so understanding about everything, her customer service was an absolute 10/10 definitely going back for the vibes, her and just to spite those two boys. The servers were great attending to our private room, but the sound system itself was really archaic and the huge magazine binder of songs seemed a bit outdated although very nostalgic. I also noticed there wasn't really any security around ...? There were a lot of bikers outside just hanging around and didn't really feel like this was a safe place lol. We came for the event and I would go again, the drinks were great tasting and definitely did the job, the food was better than expected. I will say it was slow service even when there wasn't a lot of people there and did not get better when it started getting packed. Man I love this place since the first time I came to an event night. I'm a big chicken fanatic and I highly recommend the Korean snow chicken especially if you love Cheetos like me ! It just goes perfectly well with the chicken! The service was great, and I even go to try this chocolate milk & pumpkin spice it was weirdly delicious combo! There's both street parking in the front and the back and a few on the side. The owners are extremely nice and professional making sure you enjoy your time there ! Located behind lobster king Came here with some friends for a night out and we were blown away. It's been a long time since I've been here and I wanted to bring my friends from Japan out. The vibe is chill and fun, with just the right amount of energy. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly service and great music. The highlight of the night? The watermelon soju served INSIDE a real, hollowed out watermelon! They use the entire watermelon, and it's not just for show it's refreshing, delicious, and perfect for sharing. Definitely a conversation piece and Instagram worthy moment. The pineapple soju was also delicious and refreshing. Food was on point, too. We tried the wings, fried rice, and garlic fries everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. After eating, we hit up the game area where they have darts and Max Tune racing machines (yes, the classic arcade racing game! It's similar to initial d if you've ever played that). It added such a fun twist to the night perfect for friendly competition after a few drinks. This place really has it all: amazing drinks, tasty food, fun games, karaoke, and great vibes. Whether you're going out with friends or planning a casual date night, Tipsy Pig is a must visit. Can't wait to come back! -Karaoke is 2 dollars by song and not a hourly room charge. Where do I start? What a great addition to the food scene. Chef Kales new restaurant is a must try. Came here for the grand opening and everything we had was so delicious. I had the pleasure of trying a variety of pupus (appetizers) from the menu. Poke nachos- I've never had poke nachos with imitation crab and ahi before definitely would order it again, very yummy 4.5 stars*** Kahlúa pork quesadilla- crispy tortilla that was packed with very flavorful kahlua pork. Topped with a bbq sauce and sour cream. Would also order this again. 4.5 stars**** Soft shell crab Bao- came with two pieces. Crab was fresh and the bao was nice and soft. 4 stars*** Poke- probably my most favorite item of the night. The fish was so fresh and was just beautifully seasoned. The poke was so light yet flavorful at the same time. Would come back just for this. 5 stars**** We also had the wings and the fries but didn't really take pictures they both were crispy and flavorful too. Service was great everyone was so nice and helpful with what to order. The kitchen was a bit slammed with orders but they cranked out food in a timely manner. Very versatile place. Customer service was fine on a Friday. However, we were disappointed by the new kitchen vendor. Apparently, they have a new kitchen vendor, and they are not as good as the last one. We tried many dishes like quesadilla, sizzling mushrooms, steak, fries, mozzarella sticks, poppers, and etc. Portion size was a lot smaller and not as tasty as before. Everything else is still good, but it's a shame that they couldn't keep the former food vendor that was great. Hopefully they will improve. My husband and I stopped going out to bars since we stopped drinking and our work moved us closed to central Oahu. But, we come to Tipsy Pig at least once at the beginning of every new year because it's our best friend's favorite bar to visit when he comes home to Hawaii. Our friend groups also love to have their birthdays or any kind of celebration here, so Tipsy Pig is a consistent fan favorite among a lot of us. The outside is so unassuming but the inside is clean, well-lit while still keeping the low light bar atmosphere, and really suits us for something fun but chill. There is a bit of a homeless presence on the outside, but my friends and I have never had a problem with them. Also, even though it's limited street parking, we don't have trouble finding any, I guess most patrons prefer to stay safe and take an uber. As of 2024, the games available are a couple of crane games that look a little old, three dart machines, a racing game on the bar and a player vs player racing game which my husband and best friend enjoyed. It's one of those games where you can gain points and use those points to build up your own personal car. Apparently, at Fun Factory it used to be $7 - $8 a play, but this I $2 which the guys thought was a steal. From what I noticed, it only took dollars but the owner was kind enough to split our big bills. Also, if you win you do get a free play....I played four times in a row against my husband and guy best friend - do with that information what you will ;) Food and drinks have consistently been good. Before we gave up drinking, we always order soju and this time around I got a honeydew sojupop (soju+melona) since I wanted some dessert. Also, we didn't get to try the food since we were bar hopping this night, but the drinks and environment were a great follow up. I also saw a server bring out a sizzling hot plate and that made me want to eat some more so I could try that. All considered, Tipsy Pig is one of those bars I feel like everyone knows and loves and it's not hard to see why. I have to say: The Loaded Fries were the absolute best fries I have ever had in my life! Everything is cooked to perfection, the cheese is melted lovingly, and the toppings were crispy and delicious. Sooo... it was my first time here and it was pretty underwhelming. The night was really fun due to the amazing company we had. But overall, the bar experience was pretty generic. Probably won't return. We reserved a big room for karaoke on a Friday night for about give or take 12 people. The room had 2 fans to help with ventilation as there was no real airflow. A few TV screens and some lights for the "party" effect. There was a water keg on the side with cups for self serve. This was pretty nice. The first red flag was that there was no physical big karaoke binder available (like in almost every other bar). There was a piece of paper noted on the wall to download an app to see the karaoke songs. Most of our phones were running on newer software and the app was incompatible with our phones. A good amount of song numbers listed on the app were wrong. Which we realized after plugging them in. The staff they did help us find the correct numbers after we notified them. The second red flag was the food. There was a QR code that linked to the menu online, but the item descriptions and prices were not up to date. The prices have increased due to inflation which one server let us know. Though he wasn't too sure on what the current Happy Hour rates were. And all the draft beers that night were unavailable. Though what one server said varied from what the other server said. Who was right? Who knows. It might be good to have staff training, to get consistent answers to questions customers may have. The items we ordered... we didn't learn that they were not as described until after we received them. It was very "Duck Around and Find Out" DAFO. The Sizzling Steak sounded very good while on the menu. Though the temperature of what we received was wrong. It should be accounted that as the steak sizzles on the hot plate it'll continue to cook. So if a customer ordered medium, account for the additional cooking it'll go through so it doesn't arrive well. The steak was also kinda gray and sad :( The menu we accessed said there were mushrooms and onion that came with the steak but we only received onions. The Fried Calamari was spicy in a black peppery way. The Honey Mustard like sauce that came with the Shoestring and Waffle Fries was really good. Seems like the menu items need some over hauling. As the pricing doesn't really add up to the quality of items. A few of us noted the soju pitchers (carafes) also seemed very watered down? Like not a whole bottle of soju (the standard) was used? And the Li Hing Gummy Bear flavor was very Robitussin inspired. It might be good for coughs? Who knows... Unless you like cough syrup it's best to avoid this one. The most recommended flavor had to be the Ube one. OH! Also, I don't think they have any napkins there. Which is weird for a place that serves food. We didn't receive any napkins all night. Worst service ever. Seriously I have never experienced worse service. There was one man this whole night that actually made an effort to give us our drinks and food. Our server never came to check on us despite calling him over 5 times with the call button. Ordered drinks at the bar and STILL didn't receive them 30-60 min later. Nobody cares that we're in here trying to spend money. Not to mention, he had an attitude. When drink would finally come, he would slam them on the table, roll his eyes, then stomp off. I'll never come back here. Equipment is terribly outdated. Lights sucked. Microphones sucked. Machine wouldn't work and ate our money up with out playing songs. We ordered fries, fried mandoo, pork belly fried rice, spring rolls, hot chicken sliders, sizzling smoked meat, seafood dip, wings and fried calamari. I liked the fried rice the best. It had this smoky charred taste and was topped off with an over easy egg. They gave us our own room for privacy. There was a karaoke machine for $2 a song. They also set up a pitcher of water that we could get ourselves. The service was good. They came and checked on us periodically to see if we needed anything. The food was a little on the pricey side for bar food. They charged me $8 for a virgin pina colada. I'm used to going to Mai Tai's and they only charge $4.50 for it. read more

My first time visiting. I made reservations which they were able to accommodate. I thought it would've been more busy. The food is good. We had the carne Asada and a few other things. The food took awhile but was really good. The vibe feels more bar than grill. They have a decent size place. Could fit a good amount of people. I felt like there were a lot of people there but a lot of them were the workers. More than likely, prepping for the Friday night rush. Nice staff. We didn't have too many interactions with them. Two things that threw me off. They have a few arcade style games. Claw machine and a race car video game. Due to the size of the place, it doesn't allow a lot of video game placement. It felt like a bar trying to be Dave and Busters. The second thing that threw me off was a sign by the bathrooms saying "don't do coke in the bathroom". You ever wonder how or why rules come up? Cons: -Menu was way off as far as pricing and descriptions. -Tried to confirm with two diff employees that were attending our room and they both always had conflicting answers. -food was mediocre, at best (esp for the price) -songs are only able to be viewed through an outdated app most of us couldn't download -multiple songs we chose were incorrectly numbered resulting in time wasted and $ lost (they did try to replace songs when we would bring it up right away and show proof on phone of song listed #) -for groups, unable to separate bills. Everyone randomly orders with whoever is attending ATM, then trust that everyone will head to the bar/cashier to pay their portion. -just a few parking spots unless you wait til after 6pm or so to park on street. Pros: -They had a water pitcher and cups in the room -good amount of table space & seating -Nice spacious room & equipment -variety of food & drinks available -clean bathroom -dart boards & TV screens A lot of these points on either list could make or break your experience here. For me the cons were too much to ignore. The moment they said we would need to all go outside and pay for our own items at the end, I started listing the things I knew I ordered to keep things straight. My friends had been here before and the food was good, then they came back and the food was bad, so they wanted to give it another shot since they heard it got better again. They weren't impressed. We got garlic fries (too crispy, almost like potato sticks), waffle fries (too oily, like soaked in oil), sizzling mushrooms (best thing I thought, but overpriced), sizzling chicken (also very expensive for the portion), and pork belly (lechon style, friends liked it). Tipsy Pig is our go to bar for karaoke and darts. The service is so fantastic. We love Kai, Dennis, Christy, Nani, Justin, Chas and RJ. They are so much fun. The food is absolutely fabulous. The ginger miso tofu and the kalua pig quesadilla are favorites. You can't go wrong with the Tomahawk, especially during happy hour. And you have to try the Kim chee fried rice. Normally I do not write reviews but we had the worst experience here and I hope no one else gets treated the same way when they visit. Spontaneously we went this past weekend as a party of 4 and we were able to get one of their 'free karaoke rooms'. The guy that was servicing us had horrible attitude (I think his name was Kai), it seemed as if it was a burden ordering food or even asking for a refill on our water pitcher. There's a service bell in the karaoke room, so if you want to order anything or need assistance, you press it - but most of the time they don't answer. At one point we had to go out to the bar and ask for a refill on water or to order a drink lol. They now automatically charge a flat rate service charge of $40 when you get a room, ontop of paying $2 per song and tip (still tipped but wish we hadn't). Food is overpriced for the portions they gave. $18 for 4 chicken wings is crazy, although flavor was good. If you wanna get more bang outta your buck, I recommend Soju Bang. read more

We went in around 8pm on a Wednesday and it wasn't busy at all. They have a Whiskey Wednesday special so we had a few whiskey and Coke drinks. We ordered the waffle fries and crab wontons. The waffle fries were perfect and came with a nice honey mustard sauce. The wontons were good but the sauce wasn't the best combo. If you don't like oozy wontons then I would not recommend. She didn't have any reservations but they were able to squeeze us in for 12-15 guests as we came early (around 6:30 PM) and it wasn't crowded yet. We were promptly given waters, lots of water cups, and initial orders were taken. As as table got more crowded, the service became a little choppy, but understandably so as our initial bill became 4 separate bills and people were getting tipsy and sloppy with their drink and food orders. Overall I enjoyed the various soju cocktails ordered and waffle fries :) The other food was okay. The music is EXTREMELY loud and they've got to do something about those blown out speakers, but hey, it's a bar. It's a super casual spot that's pretty spacious for being located in town and good amount of street parking if you don't want to squeeze your car in their narrow and slated parking lot. 5/5 for the soju cocktails 3/5 for the food read more
