Never coming back again. I was getting my hair dry when a different hair stylist comes up to me and tells me that I will need to pay for an extend time if I go over the time limit when I was barley half way done getting my hair dry. She said it was due to the length of my hair when it is actually shorter than the last 2 times I came in and had no problem before. She offered to also do my hair at the same time as the other girl and everything felt so rushed and I honesty feel like I wasted my time and money. My hair wasn't done how I truly wanted it to be done. If I would have been told up front before getting my hair serviced about the additional cost due to my hair being "long" then I would have reconsidered getting it done. @carrie Just to be clear the extend service was charge to one of the 4 friends I brought in back in November who did have long hair. It wasn't for me. I didn't say I was charge the extend fee. I simply expressed how after being told about the extend fee I was then rushed to finished and wasn't satisfied with the service. read more

I recently had foot surgery so it's enough to manage keeping it dry in the shower without having to wash and dry my hair, so this most recent visit was a lifesaver! I honestly feel like I was lied to... the girl at the front desk said she is the only one that can and she was leaving? Why do you not have enough staff to accommodate guests. The stylist Shelton, is very inexperienced. She doesn't seem to have experience with curly/textured hair. And when I was making my appointment they did ensure me the stylists have experience with curly hair. She blow dried my hair and then used a straightener to give me curls at the end. She did an awkward blow dry technique where she rolled my hair around the brush and held the blow dry at the root for seconds. Then did another weak pass on that piece of hair and did that around my whole head. My hair was so frizzy and poofy at this point. Never at any salon have I had that done on my hair. I did ask for a blow out look and we did agree that using hot tools was okay in the beginning but it was poorly done. I felt like it was more ringlets towards the end. I asked if she could go back with a flat iron to Atleast pass through my roots. She did take my suggestions but I wasn't impressed. The pics below are at the point where she was almost done, at which then I had to stop her and ask if she could fix it because I did not want to leave with my hair looking like this. I even showed her pictures of how my previous blowouts were better than the results I had now and she didn't have much to say. When I told her I didn't like the way she did it she told me "well everyone has different ways of doing things" Very rude! She did offer to redo it but I did not want her to try again just to give me the same results. Thankfully another stylist walked in when I asked to switch. Her name is Crystal and she was much better! Her technique assured me she knew what she was doing. I wish I didn't have to get it redone and have that awkward interaction in the beginning but I am very thankful for Crystal. She made sure I looked good and got me done within an hour so I could still make it on time to my family event. She constantly asked me through out the appointment if I liked how she was styling it and if I wanted to change anything. You can see the stark difference of how my hair was frizzy to becoming sleek and subtle waves. If I do decide to return at this location I would try to get an appointment with ONLY Crystal- she knows what she's doing. read more

The person who did my hair had no hair training and this was her first job doing hair. She loaded my hair with too much product which made it dull and heavy so it did not hold the curls she tried to put in. She spent 30 minutes curling my hair and when she was done there were no curls. My hair felt sticky and gross. I had to go home and wash it. It was a waste of $55. read more

The person who did my hair did not even tell me her name until I finally asked - found out it was her first job out of school - my shampoo left me wondering if my hair was clean and my blowout could have been done as good by a 10 year old. I went in for a blow out and style to treat myself for my birthday and I would've been better off burning $70. I showed multiple pictures of how I wanted it styled and warned the stylist (who was very nice) that I only had an hour for lunch. She said it was no problem since I only paid for the basic blowout, then halfway through washing my hair she warned me that it was not going to be done in time so she would have to charge for the extra time, I would've left but my hair was sopping wet. What is there to do at that point!? You're trapped!! Thought if I was in trouble at work it would at least be worth it if my hair turned out good. No. It was as if I washed and blow dried it at home. I told my stylist that it doesn't hold a curl good, and she told me damaged hair can hold a better hold if I ever wanted to color it to damage it that could help. I'm a natural blonde and have had people offer to buy my hair if I ever cut it. I'm not fucking damaging my hair to hold a curl. Who suggests that to someone!?! She went on to try and pin up curl my hair (which did not do anything style wise), I saw what she was doing and warned her that my hair doesn't hold and curl very well and heat helps more, which is why I came in and she ensured me that this was part of the process. 15 minutes later as she took them out SHE SAID "wow you weren't kidding, your hair doesn't hold a curl". She ended up using a curling iron to attempt to curl the bottom ends upwards, she asked if I would have rather had a full head of curls. Which, given the inspiration pictures I provided, would have been a good start. However my boss had already texted me asking where I was, and I had been there for almost an hour and a half at that point- so actually getting the hair I wanted and paid for was not an option. I still tipped her because I know hourly cannot pay her bills, but I will NEVER be returning. Overpriced, liars and time wasters. read more
