Bad experience and would not go back. Here is why…read more I had scheduled a time/day to get my hair cut. The stylist took 6 hours (no exaggeration) to do my hair. It got to the point where it was 10:00 p.m. and I just had to leave. I couldn't take it any more. She didn't even finish my hair all the way and she made me very uncomfortable. It wasn't until the next day that I realized just how bad my hair really was. My roots were not even touched and my hair was very uneven. To say that this was the worst haircut/dye that I have ever received, is an understatement. So naturally, I decided to go back to the salon and just ask them to fix it. I didn't make a big deal about it at all and I would have been fine just getting it fixed. Upon entering the salon the following day, I spoke with Jeff and explained my situation and how I requested to have my hair fixed. Jeff then proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay for another appointment...I politely explained the situation again and requested that my roots just be touched up and my uneven hair trimmed. Jeff stated he would have to speak to his supervisor (maybe, the owner?), Melissa and I would be contacted. Was I contacted? Nope. In fact multiple times I had to follow up and send multiple pictures to finally get another appointment scheduled. Luckily, when I came in and got my hair fixed, a new stylist fixed my hair and I was pleasantly relieved. It should be reiterated that no one including the supervisor, Melissa, the owner, or anyone ever contacted me to apologize including when I came back in person to get my hair fixed. In addition, I should also point out that whenever a stylist leaves the salon, the company sends out emails, and at times will explain why the stylist left. For one particular stylist, the email stated, "XXXX has left Willow Sage Salon on unfortunate terms. Her conduct has not been in line with our values, and we cannot continue working with her." In my opinion, this is unprofessional and these type of things should be kept in house. There is no need to air dirty laundry out to the public. By doing this, it doesn't reflect positively on the business and raises questions about the company and business practices. To summarize, all of this could have been easily avoided and I wouldn't have posted a review if better customer service would have been implemented. The owner or supervisor-anyone should have contacted me, apologized and resolved the problem immediately by booking another appointment. I shouldn't have had to continue to follow up multiple times etc. I will never go back. Do not recommend.

I previously had a hair stylist that is a massage client of mine who was in pain from a neck surgery & asked if I would barter hair services with massage services. Well she messed up my gorgeous silver grey locks & turned it a brassy yellow & gold. So at the appointment I told April that I wanted all off the yellow & gold gone. I continued to say that through out the appointment because she was only weaving a little bit of the hair into the foils & leaving some of the Yellow & gold. She didn't listen to me at all & did exactly how she wanted, not my requests. Plus during the whole ordeal she was extremely rough. She pulled my hair soo many times I lost count. Worst was at the wash bowl where she grabbed the towel & the top of my hair to lift me out of the bowl instead of asking me to sit up!!! The hair pulling them continued in her chair where she used a brush on my hair, pulling hard to get all the tangles out. I am not a hair dresser, but even I know you don't use a brush to brush out wet recently bleached hair! She told me that she needed to trim all the ends off since they were dry & split. Worst hair cut ever!! I asked for a gradual curve, shorter in front & longer in back. She cut the total opposite. The front is longer then the back & there are areas where the hair is longer then the rest of the section by almost 2 inches. After the hair was dried, I told her that the gold & yellow was still there. She stated that we can get that next time. She then proceeded to charge me $200 for something I didn't want. I called back after seeing all of the horrible stuff done to my hair & her remedy was for me to come in so she can put a toner on my hair. After she treated me so rough the very first visit when she wasn't mad at me, there was no way in heck I would let her literally jerk me around a second time. Save yourself time, heart ache & money and find another hair stylist
