This was the worst experience! They charged $120 and kicked us out with my daughters hair halfway done. They didn't explain anything. Taking down her hair was $50 and I assisted with 1/2 of the take down. The original service was $35 for 10 and under. They charged $15 for extended service because she has curly hair. I asked questions throughout the process and never was told about any additional fees or issues with time. I asked about if there was any other appointments after her. I have been in this salon several times and planned to become an even more regular customer. They are not flexible at all. I had myself down for an appointment and accidentally had the time 30 minutes later than booked. They refused work with me and charged me the full price on my credit card. It was an honest mistake and apparently they do not care about future business and being a former business woman myself, I find this to be very bad business. All the products they use they sell them in the store. My hairdresser recommended the purple shampoo and it did wonders with my blonde. My stYlist was Aileen, I highly recommend her. the products have that amazing fruity smell like grapes, and coconut. Parking is free and shared with the local restaurants and stores. They have a travel size gift after purchasing the purple shampoo and conditioner. ;) The bad: you will probably have to wait, I was surprised to see only 3 hairdressers. The wash was great. My hair felt fantastic. The styling was pretty, but limp and didn't last by the end of the day and I had to restyle it for my event. It still was soft and shiny and looked great overall. However, I was told that it would only take an hour, so I was also disappointed when I went to check out and I was charged $15 extra dollars for going over time. I understand paying extra money for extra time. But I wish I was told in advance, because I would have asked if there was a way to make it easier for the stylist and stay within the hour. I shared that this was my first time and a big splurge for me. I can't help but feel like the stylist took their time to make more money. I was able to book an appointment same day (evening after work) with Sadie. I arrived early and happily passed the time watching Sadie work her magic on the client before me. She whipped this client's super long, thick hair into beautiful locks of spiral curls, amazing work! I was seen within 5 min. of my scheduled time and although their posted hours state they close at 7pm Sadie took her time and I never felt as if my services were being rushed (finished my 6:30 appointment at 7:15). DO NOT GO HERE! Worst blow out I have ever had. Washed/ conditioned my hair cold, burnt my scalp so bad while blow drying. And I left looking like Sherley Temple and had to rush home and fix before an event. Lady also asked at the end if " I wanted to brush out the curls at home?" Blo has a deal on Groupon and I'm a huge drybar person. I love drybar and I feel like nobody can compete with them. I tried this place last week after having the coupon for a while. I would say the ambience and everything is just like dry bar. Most things offered here are similar to drybar. The concept is the exact same thing. The lady who did my hair was super friendly and extremely nice. I went on a weekday early in the morning so it was just me at the salon. I had a great time but I would still continue to go back to drybar due to the fact that when drybar does my hair, my hair does usually last for about 3-4 days. At this place, the hair came out great but my style didn't last longer than a day. I would have definitely gone back here if the style lasted a bit longer but it didn't. My style and blowout was beautiful, simple, stylish and lasted for days and days ...it lasted longer than any styling I've had done ever, seriously ladies. The receptionists were awesome and kind . I was given a white wine and as I've never been to a blow dry bar i didn't know what to expect . My stylist was decently friendly , she expected me to know what I wanted without explaining anything and I knew right then it wasn't going to be great . .. My hair came out nothing like the picture i picked . The style should have volume, body and bounce . Mine was literally just blown smooth and curled . I asked her to add more volume at the crown but it wasn't happening so I just asked her for a volumizing powder so that I could add some oomph myself . ... I wouldn't return because the style was nothing like what I picked and when I asked her to fix it, she wasn't capable . I came to this blow dry bar prior to an event and made an appointment. Upon arrival I could tell it was a hectic day, but the arrival and check in process was all over the place. There are no assigned spots for each stylist so we played musical chairs for several minutes trying to find an open spot... meanwhile we were 20 minutes into my appointment time just trying to find an empty chair. Once we finally found a seat I showed my stylist some pictures of an "old Hollywood" curled look I wanted and she said it was not possible... so we ended up just curling my hair which was fine, but not a good feeling that she did not even attempt to make the style work for me. I wanted to see what all the hype over these dry bars is and I'm just not impressed. They will make 7 & 8am appointments, before they open, on request which was great. This way I could make it to work on time. My appointment was set for 8am. I showed up at 7:58am and the store was still locked and there was nobody inside. I knew then it would all be downhill from here. The receptionist walked in at 8am, still half asleep, and I was let in about 5 minutes later but there was still no hair stylist. She was 25 minutes late so my appointment was started about a half hour late. The girl was nice, for just rolling out of bed, but the styling was something I could do myself and it cost $45. I was late to work, frustrated, and out $45 all for something I should've just done myself. There isn't anything super great about this place and it isn't worth $45 (the minimum you can spend). read more
