Found chicken in my veggie curry! Such a careless mistake, will never eat here again.

3rd Time we ordered here and all 3 times where disappointing - Inside is nice but we always order to go Today nothing special thia veggie with Tofu 2nd meal chicken fried rice spiceyHot The fried rice only had broccoli in it and sliced cherry tomatoes as for chicken well lets say i had to look for it and remember its sliced paper thin, but yes i barely had any chicken as for hot well they gave me packets of red paste which was lame and tastless over all I basically paid 16.00 for non tasting rice I am sorry I gave block9 a 1 score based on the taste and the portion of the chicken. As for is the inside like i said it was nice but I am there for the food carryout. I dont like giving a low score but hopefully you listen to your customers and make changes read more

Very commendable sit down Thai place. It appears to be a small location on the outside, but was pleasantly surprised with how much room there was upon entering. Menu has great options if you're looking for something spicy, or if you're like me looking for something on the milder end. I got the Basil chicken which was a nice portion with lots of flavor. Staff was friendly and had a nice lunch experience upon going. Enjoyed this experience. read more

Checked out this place prior to a Costco run with my lady. Nicely decorated interior with some cool art. This was the third time I've tried Thai food and I was very impressed. Where do I even start? The Thai food here was absolutely incredible! This location offers both indoor and outdoor dining, and the service was fantastic--you order your food, sit down, and they bring it right to you. I ordered a lunch special, and you'd have to pay extra to have drink with it. But really, 2 fried wontons is a special? Overrated and overpriced for a smaller bowl and 2 fried wontons. Service was nice. Weird vibe. You can get a better deal elsewhere. read more

Food is good here. Lots of flavors and more fusion than traditional Thai. I enjoyed everything we ordered but nothing was spectacular. This is counter service which is not our favorite for dinner. We did come here for dinner and would probably choose a table service location next time. For lunch, this place is great! The restaurant itself is laid out a bit odd but it works. Our new go-to place for Thai. They make is mild for us light eaters. The Pork Garlic Sauce is particularly delicious, as is the Tom Kha soup and vegetable spring rolls. Quick, easy, not expensive at all for the local residents of Inspirada. read more

I absolutely love Thai food and was really excited to try this newer place. So I invited some family here for dinner and we all left very disappointed. We sat down for about 25 minutes waiting for someone to take our order and answer questions, and not a single person came by to inform us we need order up front. And when we do go up to order ourselves, they have gratuity suggestions of 20%+. Smh. And the cashier tried to upsell on literally everything we ordered, making it quite uncomfortable. The shrimp soup was flavorless, like warm at best, and 90% broth. The chicken curry equally as bland and had no spice to it. The ratio of chicken and veggies to curry was also terrible. The cream cheese wonton appetizer was decent, but it's hard to mess that one up. The portions were all rather small for the price and we all left a little hungry. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who knows decent Thai food. read more

Food is okay- small portion than the one where I usually get my Thai food. --------------------

1st visit - the food was not ready when I got there even though I arrived 15mins after the quoted pick up time. The consistency of the yellow curry is much thicker than what I'm use to. 2nd visit - along with my yellow curry I wanted dessert. I planned on ordering the coconut ice cream and sticky rice. The woman with a strong Thai accent sounded confused on the phone. She said, "No we have mango sticky rice." I said, yes I know you have that but I want ice cream instead of the mango. We both kept repeating the same thing over and over again. She still doesn't understand. I said it's okay I'll just order the curry. I arrive at the restaurant and the food isn't ready just like my first visit. The same lady I spoke with on the phone was also the cashier. She said I could still order the dessert. I was hesitant about it because there was already miscommunication over the phone. I gave in and ordered because I was craving it. Then a Hispanic employee came out and said, "No one has ever ordered sticky rice with coconut ice cream." I said, I order it all the time at different Thai restaurants. I thought it was possible since you guys have it on your menu. I could heard the Hispanic man talking in Spanish afterwards. I felt like he was talking to his coworkers and making side comments on the situation. Why display it on the menu if you don't want people to order it? read more

We just left Block 9 and let me tell you it's FANTASTIC. If you want a smile on your face because of fantastic food this is the place! A must try in the area or if you're visiting with family. My wife and I have been to the Summerlin location several times. We are happy to see this West Henderson location just opened about a month ago. It is a bigger space with a very large outdoor seating area. The food is excellent and some of the workers recognized us from the other location and moved to this one. Service is excellent too. You place and pay for your order at the register, and the food is brought to your table. Drinks were refilled constantly and we were given a to go box at the end, since we could not finish our Tom Yum soup. We finished our meals and the chicken satay and it was excellent. We will be back here on a regular basis! read more

I was shopping at Hobby Lobby and saw the Block 9 Thai Street Food restaurant right next door. Decided to order takeout for lunch. Ordered the yellow curry, pad Thai noodles and the spinach salad. All three dishes were delicious. Reasonably priced and fed two of us at home with enough leftover for dinner. The staff are very prompt and polite. Service was quick about 10 minutes. This restaurant is a hidden gem. It's the best casual dining restaurant. It located near Costco on Saint Rose. The vibe is casual- mimicking street dining. The decor is set for this vibe. Without a doubt, the best Thai food I've ever had in Las Vegas. The prices are fairly reasonable (given that everything nowadays is insanely expensive). The ambiance is so adorable -- I love the modern feel to the restaurant. The food itself is out of this world; the Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles), the chicken basil (probably our favorite one -- love that they throw an egg on top of the rice), and the chicken pad Thai (fantastic -- although, I order with no bean sprouts) . I cant comment on authenticity as I do not frequent Thai food, what I can say is food was well seasoned, savory with fresh ingredients. Ambience: What a cool spot, there is plenty of space both inside and out. Clean large facility with decor that makes it seems like you are on a Thai street corner partaking in vendor life. Details include paper/plastic eatery, chairs that are comfortable but resemble street stalls, local ingredients proudly on display. Staffing: Very nice, recommended things and educated us. Price: For 2 people, we spent $59. I would say its a little above the $$ mark out of $$$$. Food was worth it, great for sharing, portions were nice and we had enough to take home with us. Perfection. The chicken or shrimp Pad Thai? Flawless. The Tom Yum soup? A spicy, soul-healing miracle. The basil chicken? Exactly what basil chicken should be. And don't even get me started on the many curries--adorable, delicious, and just the right amount of kick. What I love most? It's NOT some generic chain restaurant. You walk into a kiosk where you are to place your order. Now the girl takes your order and I puts it into their system and you pay. So here is where they hit you up for a tip for your take out order. Strike one.. then you wait. That's all fine. They are quick but we found all but the green curry was either dry or tasteless. I tried several items just to see how their food was and we thought there was an extra ordinary amount of starch in their dishes and very little protein. In one dish, where I paid to add in chicken there was very little chicken to be had. If you want protein it's an add on or veggies into a dish it's an add on.. rice that's an add on too... so beware. Also the portion size of the soup was really small.... Maybe they have two sizes, who knows. We have been to their Summerlin location and liked their food but unfortunately this location is not as good. We generally like Thai food but there are many better choices close by. A family member bought me my favorites from Block 9 and this time...it was 5 stars. The Panang was delicious, and the papaya salad was fresh and flavorful. The sticky rice came wrapped in a banana leaf, like a little present. I will definitely come back for more! read more
