I have been attending this incredible restaurant since May 2021. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I always get the Singapore noodles. IMO the BEST dish that they have. My husband enjoys the duck yellow curry. Eating in is a totally different experience than take out. While the restaurant is small, it has so much flavor. The culture is everywhere. I was so lucky to find this place. And now that my family and I are moving, I think this is one of the places I will miss the most. I should also mention that my daughters (10 and 5) would rather eat in here than take out because the atmosphere is very quiet and they decompress so easily here. While not your typical family restaurant, my respectful daughters appreciate the staff being not just courteous but understanding of children. read more

This place is truly a hidden gem! And I cannot say enough about the service that we received. I did not get the name but the lady that assisted us with taking our order and check again during the meal was so sweet. I will say at the meal did have a little bit of a different twist that I had never had before for each entree, which was nice that it didn't taste like every other Thai place in the neighborhood. The stand out to me was the banana rolls, as they had a coconut coating on them and served with a side of honey. My boyfriend was over the moon with this. Though I did not try it with honey, I will say that the banana and coconut flavor was such a nice twist. I was shocked to see that this place was empty on a Friday night at 8:00. More locals need to support this local establishment! Ordered the chicken pad Thai and the yellow curry. Opt for the low spice level since if you order medium spice it can be overwhelming. The service is typically fast and friendly and the dining room is small but does have dim lighting to enjoy the food in a quiet environment. They do offer Apple Pay as well. We ordered Gata through Uber eats delivery so I can't really speak on the ambience, just the food itself. I will say that the Chicken fried rice and the Orange chicken were not my favorite. The Chicken fried rice was very plain for it being Thai. And the Orange chicken was way too sweet for me but other people might like that. The Pad Thai with shrimp definitely needed more flavor also. I've had amazing Pad Thai dishes elsewhere. But I did enjoy the Pad See Ewe with beef and the Chicken Panang Curry, which actually isn't pictured because we ate it so fast. read more

Do not eat here an hour and a half before closing. I called to check if we could come in eat at 8:15. I told her we would be there at 8:30 & if that was okay. She said yes you just need to order fast. So we got there & respected that. Once we ordered she demanded we pay right away. Threw boxes at us & made me sign the check immediately even though she said we can take our time to eat. I tipped her $4 because of how nasty she was being, once she saw my tip & I told her that the reason for it is because she had lied and was rushing us she started taking the plate off the table and slamming them in the bin next to her. She took our drinks that we paid for & we couldn't take them. Then started cussing at us calling us names saying she took pictures of us and we were allowed to eat there anymore. Keep in mind they close at 9pm. We walked out the door at 9:02. She didn't even allow is a full 30 min of service because the food had to be cooked. I hope that the bosses watch the cameras & let her go. This was our favorite place for so long and now we will never return. read more

I found this place by accident. I ordered to-go, I meant to order from Gaati Thai and ended up ordering from here instead. No regrets, the food was great however I would rate their Panang curry a 7.5/10. The curry was too thick for my liking and it lacked more flavor. The broccoli beef was really good. This is our go-to Thai restaurant in Henderson. I can't even count how many times I've ordered carry-out from Gata on the way home from work. It's typically ready within 15 minutes. Although I've never eaten in the restaurant, it's elegantly decorated and welcoming. The dining room is relatively small and often completely full around dinner time. The staff are amazing. The Thai iced tea is the best I've found. And the food is consistently exceptional, made with high quality ingredients. I've yet to order anything I didn't like. We ALWAYS order the chicken fried rice... tender strips of perfectly seared chicken with expertly cooked and seasoned rice, this is big enough for our family of three to share and still have leftovers. My bf and I got the beef pad Thai, spicy basil chicken, and mango sticky rice. The mango sticky rice is truly amazing and I crave it all the time. The portion size was huge and we were able to eat it again for another meal. Previously, I tried the orange chicken (sooo good), their fried rice (amazing), and the beef soup (so flavorful). I had ordered takeout from this restaurant and was delivered the wrong order and the owner Tiny gave my husband and I can't service next week came in so we decided to take her up on it, and her hospitality was above and beyond. On top of that the food oh my God, the food is amazing. It's fresh it's flavorful and you could tell they put a lot of care and what they cook. It being a mom and Pop restaurant it's very cozy and quaint, but a beautiful restaurant with beautiful staff and equally fantastic food. My husband and I left the restaurant talking about the food and we're still talking about the food. That's how good it is. I highly highly highly recommend trying this restaurant out. This week was the eighth time I visited Gata and I can honenly say it keeps getting better. I have been going through their menu a couple of entrees at a time. This time we tried the two lunch specials. At 13.95 it's a bargain y today's standard. My guest ordered the Pa Nang Curry with chicken ($13.96). She ordered a #4 heat level. The chicken was hot and flavorful with a great finish. It was served (on the same plate) with an eggroll, steamed white rice and a simple salad. I ordered the Chow Mein with shrimp ($15.95 / $2 supplement for the shrimp). I ordered the heat level at #5 heat level and that was the perfect level for me. The Chow Mein noodles were cooked perfectly with a wonderful wok "charred" flavor. Most restaurant chef and cooks have not mastered the knack of cooking noodles that well. The seasoning and the heat levels were right on spot. We have had the same server every time we come in. I think she may be one of the owners. We got there early and she acknowledged us and couldn't be more hospitable to a returning guest. The restaurant got fairly busy with both dine in and pick-up, but the service remained great throughout our meal. There are a lot of other Asian and Thai restaurants closer to home, but this is my new go-to place for great Thai food. read more
