I have been to this place several times before, but today the quality of the food was not as good. I hate to get this place at three because I know it is like a Family own business. Maybe it was just an off day, I hope it was because this place is pretty reasonable. I did like the Tom kha soup and they serve it in the fancy dish with fire coming out We had the pad Thai, which was on the Sweet side, lacked a little bit of flavor and tasted like there was ketchup in the dish. The Penang, was average. It was a little bit on the fishy side and was not very sweet. They added basil to Penang, which I have never had before. It's a good thing we caught it because my sister is allergic to basil. The last time we came here we had the Pad se ew and it was great so I would come again to try the Pad see ew. Service was on point even though they were busy from Mother's Day. Very friendly style.

Love the food here everything is very well made, HOWEVER the customer service sucks every time i come here it takes a long time just to be seated and sometimes who ever is in the front disappears in the back for extended amount of time they dont really check on their guests throughout the meal and just checking out can be an extended wait as well. Once ordered everything comes out in a timely manner.

This is a great hole in the wall nestled on the corner of a small strip mall. I was dining alone, which I'm actually enjoying as of late. It's easier to figure out where to go!! I ordered the Panang red curry with salmon which came with a generous portion of white rice. And, I also ordered the chicken noodle soup, gluten-free to go. Both items were very good, but not my favorite. I prefer a crispy sear on my salmon, this one was a little overcooked for my preference and I like extra Panang sauce. The good news is they make their sauce from scratch but the bad news is there is no option to get more unless you ask for it ahead of time. Also, the chicken noodle soup to go, didn't have a lot of chicken for the price. The service was friendly. I think Thai food kitchen is a good restaurant, but I think I need to switch up what I order next time.

This is a joke. This was $14 the disrespect.

I just got my to go order. They charge me about $14 each dish. One was a chowmein. The other one mongolian chicken. My daughter was the only one that kind of ate. Since the portion was SO SMALL. A grown adult cannot eat well. We've been there several times and when we dine in the portions were not this small. Oh! But since everything was packed i didn't see the disrespect! Never ordering to go again from them. Be aware

Found this place with the hubby. Located in a quiet plaza with lots of parking. It's a small cozy restaurant with lots of seating and greatly decorated. The waiter was nice and friendly. Always checking in on us. The food was amazing! We ordered the crab wonton and calamari rings. Both came out so fast and it was hot and cooked right. Served with appropriate sauces. Then our main entrees were panang curry with chicken with level 3, which was the right spice level. Then we had the pad se ew noddles level 2. And it was delicious. Definitely coming back here.

Great lunch spot! I've been here twice and have to add this to my lunch list. Their lunch was perfect for the price. I got the yellow curry with chicken. It came with a salad and egg roll. The salad has a dressing added already which was like a vinaigrette. It's okay. Egg roll is okay. The main star was the yellow curry. It was delicious! Hit my curry craving. Thai ice tea was on point. For the price I paid for lunch, it was worth it. Service was quick! It was busy during lunch hour but I managed to get in and get out quick. Staff was friendly. Ambiance is casual.

Came here on a Sunday night after a movie and there were quite a few people in here but was able to get seated immediately. We were just looking for a quick bite and we ended up here. The drunken noodles with chicken was good. We said level 3 but def could have gone up in spice. The satay came with 4 pieces and it was tasty! The mango sticky rice is always my go to dessert. It was good but I think there was too many sesame seeds for my liking.

This is the perfect place for authentic Thai cuisine . I've tried many Thai restaurants around Henderson and Las Vegas but I just keep coming back to Thai food Kitchen! I've ordered take out probably a dozen times and have had lunch twice . Today I came solo and was very comfortable. I'm always completely satisfied and happy with food and service. Kind , helpful staff and cozy environment. Today I had their lunch special and it was definitely delicious ! I complemented my meal with a Thai iced tea . Highly recommended

Food came out cold and too sweet... service is okay, asks for reheat and the server does it immediately.

But yes, I was across the street grabbing some replenishables for my rig because I live on the road-- sadly. But on the bright side, I get to be everywhere and taste restaurants across the country, so not too bad. And today while delivering a load to Amazon LAS1 in Henderson, I decided to have lunch here at Block 9 Thai Street Eats. I like the layout. Ngl. If this restaurant opened in Steamboat Springs or say maybe Granby Colorado, the locals would probably storm in day and night. A blend of murals reminding you of that dream world created by Maurice Sendak in the book Where the Wild Things Are, and traditional Thai wood colors and pottery decorate the restaurant. I like the hues, the blues complementing the warm earth tones with dim yellow lighting fixtures. Ok, so the ambiance gets a 5/5. The food? This place is an order first then sit type of joint. I really and no idea what to get. Again the heat probably is restricting my appetite, but I went with a Chicken Penang, a Thai Hibiscus Lemonade and a Chicken Satay Appetizer. NGL, in regards to the chicken Satay, due to its overly dry and lack of moistureness, I think Alot of people will score better at a cheap Chinese buffet serving chicken skewers. 'because there's really no difference, I had one skewer and hesitated finishing the second. Maybe convert to chicken Thigh meat? Something with more fat built into it. The Penang gets a pass, but was nothing on the level of "I have to finish it right now," and probably because of the heat, I enjoyed the Hibiscus tea the most. For anyone that wants to experience really good chicken that maintains its moisture and just somehow ended up in Los Angeles, go check out Gravitea Food Truck in San Gabriel CA. And order their Taiwanese Fried Chicken. They use Chicken Breast by the way, but they're able to retain all the juice and moisture in the chicken. So where was I, loved the tea, ate the Penang, want to skip the Satay. Overall I'm giving this place a 4/5. Overall vibes, sounds, food presentation, and service is above average. Probably need to come at night some time in the future for the bar scene.

It's a casual spot, family-owned, and known for introducing Americans to Northern Thai cuisine. The sai oua ($24) was a Northern style sausage with a bit of spice and lots of herbaceousness. The garlic prawns ($36) are a popular dish which were fried but contained both the meat and the shell; it was garlicky, crispy, and had good flavor. The drunken noodles ($21) were on the sweeter side and not spicy at all. The khao soi ($22) was also on the sweeter side and was coconut-y. I typically see braised chicken meat in khao soi but this one came with the same kind of thinly-sliced meat seen in the drunken noodles and other stir fries. For drinks, the espresso martini ($17) was good. The thai tea was a bit watered down and had less sugar than normal, even for someone who likes drinks with less sweetness. Even though it's a huge space, I recommend making reservations ahead of time. It might have a significant importance but I've had better Thai restaurants.

The Thai food is authentic and the family that is running it is wonderful and very kind. The crying tiger was very tender and the two sauces that came with it were well seasoned and distinctive. One sauce was more bright and citrus forward while the other sauce has a nice spicy kick and was more savory. It did not find with rice, but I would devour the whole thing with the sauce. The pad Thai with chicken was a great portion and it was not sweet. Thank goodness. The yellow curry with chicken was balanced with spice and seasoning. It came with a bowl of rice. It was excellent. Spice levels rang from 1 to 5 and the 2 was perfect for me. The sushi was decent. They definitely have specials and they make it fresh. It gives an option of someone did not want Thai dishes. I loved that they offered to bag up our leftovers as I can be clumsy with containers. Pricing was fair. The portions were big enough for seconds and the quality was on point.
