We've been on a 2.5 month long X country trip and somehow landed in Valaspero. We noticed the brewery sign and decided to stop in. Our server Abigail was friendly and engaging, and gave full descriptions of the beers that we had questions about. With that said we both ordered flights. I'm a pale ale and ipa fan, my wife is more lager and Pilsner fan. We both really liked our selections and was impressed with the quality. Then when it came to ordering food we ordered the wings and "cowboy" sushi roll. YUMMY!! The wings were cooked perfectly and the sushi roll was impressive! Abigail really made our visit to Blockhead a memorable experience and she even directed us to a lovely beach community as we were not familiar with the area. what an awful experience. i came in with my friends saturday night after traveling from california, the initial service was awful. i was with a group of friends. initially all of our orders were delivered separately from the most lack luster wait staff i've seen in my life. the ambiance was full of itself and the the "extensive" beer menu was pitiful. the food itself seemed like they took a ten year old and told him to throw ingredients together and called it fusion. what is isreali couscous? how did something that originated from north africa suddenly become isreali? and adding it to shawarma? theres a level of integreity that comes when you do fusion food and this half baked brewery has none of it. also the spicy tuna genuinely smelt like socks and rotten fish, i wasnt too confident of the hygine of the staff, if you want real asian food go to tanuki down the street, dont waste your time! read more

My wife told me about this place when we first moved back to IN. I thought any place who have boa buns and beer is a place for me! We got in and we're greeted well and sat down right away both times! This was awesome! It have great music playing and friendly servers as well! We both put in beer orders and I do love my sours so I got the raspberry lemonade sour! It was delicious! We ended up getting an app and sushi rolls! The eggs rolls were ok. I probably wouldn't get them as they were very greasy and heavy and the sushi just was overpriced for the amount.
