I can not say enough about Nicole y'all! She is so talented and she knows her color! I mean, finally a stylist who is efficient, sweet, and got me to the color I had been wanting for years! Then I moved to Georgia. Insert sad face here. Yep, it happened again. I went for years looking white trash brassy. No one could get me to the color that I'm supposed to be so I took a chance and I texted Nicole. This girl... she actually sent me the formula for my hair color and went a step further by agreeing to talk to my new stylist down here, so that she knew exactly what I like and exactly what texture and wave was in my hair. Katelin turned my hair orange, and I was left to sit in the sink with purple shampoo while she went to the front of the salon to socialize with another client. My porous hair turned purple. Katelin claimed I could get the purple out myself with "soap" when she is the one who caused it to turn my hair purple. It did not come out. Avoid this salon. read more

I came here when my hair designer moved. My fave stylist Debbie is a five star rating, J West Salon is a three. Debbie knows my hair better than I do. I am a simple long slightly inverted bob cut girl with a fringe of bangs. It suits my long strawberry blonde mane of fine texture but thick mass. She is not cheap but she is worth it, she gives my hair movement and interest while keeping it is good shape. I shop around for most spa and salon services but Debbie has been my hair designer for over 22 years now. I trust her implicitly and have no desire to go elsewhere. I do not do color yet (I have virgin hair because I have liked my shade) but have thoughts about it more as my red fades more to dark blonde, I will tell you if I ever delve into it. The salon is not terribly glam but it is clean and friendly. It does not entice me into other services though and I wish it had a bit more pizazz. I will follow Debbie wherever she goes though. read more

She is incredibly talented, hilarious, and is great at helping you figure out what color or cut will fit your wants and needs. Katelin is so kind, understanding, and talented with color. I am suffering from flu but am in a wedding this weekend and had to pull it together and get my hair done. My bridal hair and makeup trial was included and we were able to trial several looks. They were patient as we tried a few different hair styles and helped me envision what I would look like on the day of. I have been going to Katelin for over 8 years now and she does the most amazing color and cuts! My natural color is red and I wanted highlights to lighten it up. I tried a few other people prior to Katelin and it always came out ashy :(. From the first time Katelin colored my hair it looked amazing!
