We wanted to open our view of the lake, as it was mostly blocked by an enormous tree. They were able to remove branches and trim others and still maintain the shape of the tree. They did a great job giving us a view of the lake and keeping our big beautiful tree. They also cleaned every single stick and leaf out of the yard, leaving no sign that the yard had been piled with branches while they worked. I highly recommend Worley Tree Service!

The foreman, Stephan, reviewed the scope of the job with us and he and his crew got to work immediately, cutting up a large elm that had fallen by our house and several other large trees that had been damaged in a storm. About 5 months ago I had tried to get an estimate for my fence as it started to sag, but the fencing companies would either, not come out and look at it, would come out but never sent me a quote or just never answered my calls or emails. So now it is March 2016, and after a strong wind storm, the one side of my fence blew down. Sent a search through Thumbtack and Ramos was one of the ones to answer. Let me list why he was such a great choice for doing my fence: 1. I made an appointment for him to come to home at noon to get an estimate. I work 25 minutes from home so I gave myself 45 minutes to drive home to meet him. Well wouldn't you know they closed all the lanes of north bound I-35 for a funeral!!! So I was 40 minutes late driving to my house. And guess what...He waited for me to get there!!! 2. He looked and measured...and gave me an estimate on the spot. This was a solid quote...there was to be no changes to this at any time. He was hundreds of dollars cheaper that the cheapest estimate I had received months before and at this time. 3. He showed up the day and time he promised and got the fence up in one day. He did come back the next day to install the rest of the screws and to do my gate (This is a big deal because my neighbors have a dog that hates me, so I was glad to have the fence up in one day). 4. I asked to have the gate opener to be installed only visible from the back yard. (Two other fence people argued with me about this, said they know better or I won't like etc.). No arguments, said he would do it for me. I figured I would always have to go outside the backyard door to open the gate, but Ramos installed it in such a way, I can reach over the gate to open it from the front yard and no one else would even know the latch is there. I feel so much safer at night alone because of this! (I bought the latch myself ) 5. I had bought a money order to pay for both the right side of the fence and was having him do the left side also. He asked if he could come back to do the left side in a few days because the previous week's rain had put him behind on another job. The money order was for the whole job so I gave it to him that day 6. Sure enough, Ramos again came back on the day he promised and finished the left side of the fence. 7. He and his team were efficient and thorough. Took two days to chop down three trees (1 dead, 2 live) with grinding. They even cleaned up and mowed my lawn and cleaned up all the leaves as well as cleaning up all the driveways. We had some large trees and there was debris across three driveways including our neighbors. They did cut an underground hose I was completely unaware of while grinding one of the tree stumps, but Arturo came by a week later and fixed it. They are responsible and have insurance in case any of the workers get injured. With the grinding of the stump and roots, you can't tell there was even a tree there. Keep in mind that they grind the roots about foot deep, so we had to contact the city to mark any gas pipes or electricity lines which wasn't hard to do (city sent someone promptly in a few days)

LOOK NO FURTHER and call Sam!!! He and Sherry went above and beyond what was expected from the get go, and I highly recommend them (read on to see why)! I was looking for a company that specialized in rodent removal (rats at the duplex I rent), and once I read the reviews for Sam and his company I knew they were going to be the best! I messaged him pretty late at night (10:30) and he responded even that late! We immediately set up a free inspection and as soon as he walked into my yard and took a look around at the house he knew what needed to be done. He laid traps that same day and he and/or Sherry came every other day for over a week to remove the dead rats. These two are the ABSOLUTE BEST as far as expertise and knowledge, professionalism, price, timeliness (they keep in touch if something pops up), and they are the friendliest people whom I now consider friends. We had lots of laughs along the way! I hope you have your phone in your hand to call Sam - he actually answers his phone! Thanks so much Sam and Sherry! (P.S. After working with several pest control services with little results we finally called bloodhound wildlife management. I wish we would have called them first! Not only were they here fast, they were friendly and reasonably priced and most importantly ALL of our pests are gone!! I haven't seen any evidence of not a single rat (guys it's embarrassing but they got bad! Ever wake up to the sounds of rats partying on your kitchen counter tops? I have.. they were chewing through my drywall for crying out loud! I mean I left my kitchen spotless at night and they still invaded! ) Other companies just said "well that's country life for ya" and "we can set up some traps" Not bloodhound wildlife management...this team KNOWS what they are doing!! I cannot say enough in this comment section to tell you how I feel. These two men were incredible. I have an 89 year old house with Tree Rats, Mice, Termites and places they were getting in I had no clue about. They were up front, honest, on time, have followed up with exactly what they said they would do and so appreciated my efforts when I could lend a hand. Even bought them bbq from Lockhart, Tx for lunch! It is overwhelming to know the damage, but they constantly kept me feeling safe and great about their decisions and things I needed to know about. After a negative experience with another company, I called Bloodhound Wildlife Services and they were at my house within hours on a weekend. They immediately identified my problem, thoroughly went over the exclusion work that had been done, and located areas that should have been sealed and hadn't been. Within a week, Bloodhound resolved the problem that I had been having. They provided recommendations and arranged for other contractors to do separate work that I wanted to complete on my house. They are a local company, so their costs are reasonable; they respond extremely quickly, and their work is meticulous. I contacted Bloodhound Wildlife Services due to hearing noises coming from my attic. The owner, Sam, responded within minutes and we arranged a time to meet, inspect my attic and consult. Sam arrived at my home and I had a severe rat infestation. Sam was informative and gave me options on how to treat and remedy the problem. Traps were set immediately, all holes were sealed and new insulation was installed. Sam and Tobias came within 1.5 hours of my call because I saw a snake on my patio the night before. Over the phone, they quoted me $375 (per snake). They showed up and got busy looking for him and found him within 10 minutes. I had a good night's sleep that night after no sleep the night I saw the snake. The final charge matched the quote of $375 and given my phobia of snakes, it was worth every penny!! They weren't able to tell me where it got in my yard, but they said they put down snake deterrents around the perimeter of my yard and around potential hiding places and advised me on the most likely hiding places in my yard. We had a situation where a bat had made it into our historic rental home. Sam came out within a couple of hours of my phone call and found many opportunities for creatures and pests to make it in. Upon my landlord's approval his techs, Trey and Payton came to seal the space. They preserved the look of the brick walls, were respectful and worked diligently. It was the middle of a Sunday, and every other company we called either said they couldn't come or would charge an "emergency fee" that was upwards of $200. However, Bruce came out immediately to asses the situation. After looking things over, he let us know that these were not the concerning type of termites, but ones that were pushed up from the construction behind us. Not only did he not charge us, he looked everything else over before leaving. After this, we immediately hired him regular quarterly service. He shows up without us needing to call and handles everything. Then, he leave an invoice with a stamped envelope for us to mail a check. If he notices something concerning he will let us know. Everything about Bruce is easy and nice to deal with. Such a great company!

They…read moreDO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK and wanted to charge me another $350 to come out and spray 1 month later because the scheduled 2nd appt was missed due to a family emergency, on top of the original $350 which I hadn't even paid yet, because I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone or return my calls the first week after my service. I've called and left multiple messages and we played phone tag for several weeks and I was called a liar on the phone by the OWNER BILL and said that I "Did not call and leave multiple messages" which I most certainly did!!! I'm sure there's another company out there that will stand behind their services and have friendly service.

They quickly sent me an estimate detailing all the things we wanted. Big Dog Tree Service is reasonably price but most importantly offer excellent service and quality work. Their crew trimmed all my trees, cleared the debris, and hauled everything away! A local business of Lago Vista that also offers other landscaping services too.
