That loyalty made my most recent visit all the more disappointing. I had a 10:50am appointment. The day before, Felicia texted asking if I could push to 11am. I said I'd try to rearrange my plans. She replied: "let's keep the 10:45." I managed to move things around (because if she was asking, I figured she was in need, and I wanted to help) and arrived at 10:57 -- 7 minutes late by the original booking, not 15. When I walked in, Felicia told me I was 15 minutes late. I explained I'd rearranged my schedule to accommodate her request. She shrugged and said "too bad, I already booked someone afterwards.". It wasn't until I was in the room that I checked the reminder email -- original appointment: 10:50. So by her own scheduler, I was 7 minutes late, not 15. Felicia eventually gave me an extra 5 minutes to make up for the mix-up, and I appreciated that. But the cold, dismissive way she started the appointment stayed with me. That's not how you treat someone who's followed you for 15 years. Part of why I see Felicia specifically -- and not one of those high-volume places with curtain walls and hospital beds for tables (you know the ones) -- is the whole experience. A facial should be calming and restorative, and Felicia's warmth has always been as much a part of that as her technique. When that warmth disappeared at the door, it colored everything that followed. The facial itself was top notch. Felicia is genuinely skilled, stays current on products and techniques, and can deliver a top-notch treatment in her sleep. I hope this was an off day, because the person that greeted me at the door was not the warm person that I've been loyal to for a decade and a half.

I was apprehensive about getting the eyelash extensions, but I decided to try it. I went to Huong, and she was right on time for my appointment. She had a professional attitude and asked several questions in order to determine what type of lash I wanted. Then she explained the process. Huong has a very mature personality, and I liked her style right away. It took no more than one hour for a "full set". I was thrilled with the results. My lashes were long and lush! Huong made sure I understood how to care for my lashes. The first thing my son (my toughest critic) said was, "Oh, I like your makeup today." Little did he know that I had no makeup on! Huong was so gracious, attentive and I immediately felt I was in really capable hands. Arriving at her studio it was a calming, peaceful place that was comfortable and put me right at east. Huong explained every step of the procedure with me - what was happening, how it worked - everything. It was a great and pleasant experience - despite a bit of expected discomfort but beauty comes at a price always! I'm a first timer with eyelash extensions, and I wholeheartedly regret not getting them sooner. I'm so thankful that my first experience with them was with Huong. Her studio is comfortable and easy to find. Also, underground parking was a breeze. She is so knowledgeable about what she does and you can tell she genuinely cares about your comfort and safety. Ombre powder brows are legit, as is Morgan!…read more I got my eyebrows microbladed back in July 2015, and they lasted me a good 2 years or so before I started using the outlines to fill in. Around 2019, the outlines were gone and faded, and I figure it would be time to treat myself to some new brows and save money in the long run on makeup. Easily made an appt with Morgan for a correction set once I showed her my brows and was approved. The studio is easy to find per her detailed instructions and I had no issue finding parking during my evening session. Morgan's attention to detail and genuine love of her craft is apparent from start to finish. It begins with just a preliminary email advising you on what to expect and how to best prepare for the procedure. Then, when you're at your appointment, Morgan guides you step by step through her process. She first asks what type of brow you are looking for, then she cleans up your brow area and begins tracing ( I think this took about 45 min to an hour). She worked with me every step of the way and made sure I was happy/comfortable with the result. Then, once she had everything traced and ready, she went to work. Pain is minimal. She initially starts without numbing cream just to do the outline and the pain is similar to threading I would say, so it's not bad (and I have a low tolerance for pain). Once the numbing cream is on you barely feel a thing. I fell asleep on the table at one point lol. The process, in its entirety, from start to finish, took a whopping four hours. That's when you know Morgan puts a lot of effort and dedication into her craft. The finished product was AMAZING. The arch was perfect, the size of the brow was perfect. I legit walked out of there feeling confident and great! Morgan advised me of the next steps, aftercare, and gave me gel and everything I needed. I left so happy and took a bunch of selfies (because obvs). The first week, the brows stayed consistently the same color wise. I got complimented by nearly everyone I hung out with. I made sure not to wet my brows at all the first two days, and Morgan gives you protective gear to ensure that. Peeling didn't start until about after 5-7 days, and lasted for about another 5-7 days after that. I had a few days of going into work and being like "ugh don't look at me," but overall it wasn't bad, lol. At around the three-four week mark, my brows were fully healed and looked SUPER natural. It's so nice to be able to wake up and not put any brow powder on etc. The shape is great, and it did shrink a bit, but I am happy and very content with my brows overall. My mom is now planning to get them done with Morgan and I've recommended to all my friends who are interested, so I hope they follow through! I cannot wait to come back for my touch up once this pandemic is over, and I cannot wait to bring the brows outside of my apartment soon enough, haha. Thanks Morgan!

I have also had lash lifts/tints at other salons with great results at half the price. --Your lash lift/tint did not last more than a week, when it should last 4-6. I have had the same service at other salons for $80 when you charge $160. --You were treating another client in the bed next to me at the same time. Eye infections are HIGHLY contagious and you did not wash your hands or sanitize between two clients getting lash treatments--this is absolutely unacceptable. --Your technique is heavy handed; I have never had an esthetician tell me to relax during my prior lash services. You told me 2x which only made my experience more uncomfortable. --I paid you $160 the week prior to my appointment. I was surprised that you had the audacity to ask for another $10 at the end of my service saying that it took longer. The only reason it took longer is because you were doing another client at the same time. I gave you an extra $20 as I just wanted to leave immediately. --Lastly, I sent you a text the day following my service to ask for your email and you never responded which is simply unprofessional.
