The staff was very friendly. My problem was I wanted SNS and she gave me a little book with colors. I wasn't impressed and just choose the pink and white SNS thinking that's all they had to choose from. She tore up my cuticles and didn't bother to clean them up. Even added and glitter line without me asking for it. She didn't even bother putting oil on them until I was walking out the door an hour after doing them. I told them when I walked in I wanted SNS, pedi, eyebrow wax and eyebrow tint. They completely forgot about the eyebrow wax and tint. I was there with a group of friends getting stuff done for a wedding later in the week. I was waiting with one of my girlfriends and noticed a whole pile of SNS colors. not impressed with their service and not impressed with how torn up my nails where when she was done. I started going to Bloom a little over a year ago when my Nail Tech moved salons. Mai-Linh has been doing my nails and eyebrows for about 3 years and I'll follow her where ever she moves! Her work is impeccable. The salon is clean and simple, and the owner always greets you with a smile. Rosie is my pedicure go-to Tech. She does great work too. I went here for the first time yesterday and will not be returning. I was hoping to find a new nail salon and this is not the place. I felt as if things were not clean or well taken care of. When I sat down at the table to get my nails done, the towel that was sitting there look like it had the previous customers nail trimmings on it. The technician did not change out the towel or wipe down the table. There seem to be products everywhere. I asked the technician to change the shape of my nails to a more rounded edge and did not come out with what I was looking for even after showing her a picture. Decided to give Bloom a try because my normal nail place is closed on Sunday. They took me as a walk-in and I was helped pretty quickly, which is appreciated. Morgan did my nails and in general did a good job. The problem happened toward the end of my SNS manicure. While peeling back my cuticle to file the side of my nail to remove the overlapping SNS she was very rough on one finger. As she moved on to the rest of my hand I slowly noticed my finger start to bleed. Now I've had probably 50+ SNS manicures and have never had this happen. When she got back to that finger she finally noticed it was bleeding. She then proceeded while my nail was still bleeding to file it more, use the drill tip, brushing on top coat, using the little orange buffer block etc. I watched blood get on all these things and she proceeded to simply put the tools back in her cart. Then she moved on to the next girl seemingly with no intention to disinfect any of it. That is utterly disgusting and unhygienic. Thankfully I know I have no diseases, but she has no way of knowing that. At the time my nail didn't feel too painful but now it's hurting pretty bad. Praying I don't wind up with some infection because they obviously don't clean their tools. read more

I was so disappointed with my experience here. My daughter really wanted to have a mom / daughter nail day. This sort of thing never happens! She's 14...so I jumped at the chance to spend some time with her. We called ahead and made an appointment for 1pm just this past Sunday. We sat for 45min before they were able to squeeze us in. I say squeeze because there was only one station available. My daughter sat down and they gave me a chair to sit behind her. If we were a walk in I would understand but we took the time to call ahead and they confirmed they could accommodate us. My daughter got her nails done and we left. I tried out this place because it's close to my house. That was my first mistake cheating on my OG nail technician. I knew I should've left when I walked in to see people seated right next to one another, instead of every other seat like my original salon. The women who did my nails was very distracted. Picked up her personal phone. She never said a kind word to me. Didn't cut or do basic care on my hands before rushing and distractedly doing my nails. She cut my skin on multiple fingers and the paint started chipping as soon as I left. They also have some regulars who came in who got their full attention. As this is super convenient and new, I was optimistic. So sad about all of the below: -Very dirty! Dust, nail bits everywhere, nasty towels, etc. -No use of sterilized tools, and BEWARE that I witnessed freshly used dirty tools placed into a blue sterile package and placed in a drawer. Unfortunately and not surprisingly, my nail lady poured out the tools from a blue sterile package without having to break the seal. : ( -My appointment took a VERY long time so I was able to see other icky practices. -An adorable 2 yearish old child was running around the shop barefoot. -Morgan was very sweet, but I had to file every single nail to even them out once I got home. -Three customers walked out unhappy for different reasons (I couldn't hear the details) while I was there. Best nail salon I've found in Texas AND they have reasonable prices. I have my go-to place back in California and will only go there because I'm hard to please. My mom came into town and I decided to try this place that was down the street from my new place to take my mom out for a treat. Was greeted kindly. They were super attentive and had amazing customer service. We both got pedicures and I got SNS and it was the most gentle pedicure I've had. No painful tearing of cuticles or anything like that that I've experienced other places. The staff went above and beyond for us, when I said I wanted white SNS she even offered a few different whites than the one I had found to make sure I had every choice and got EXACTLY what I wanted. I like how they have clients wash hands before touching anything, and i love how they're still serving drinks (in disposable cups). I'm sorry that i forgot who did my pedicure, but she did an amazing job and took her time. Went in yesterday for a french manicure with my Mom - very happy!! The tables are set up so we could have our nails done sitting next to each other and still chat. The owner is very sweet and friendly. The gentleman who worked on my nails did a great job on my tired worn out hands that haven't been pampered in a long time. I especially appreciated that he checked with me while shaping the white part of my french tips to make sure I liked the thickness and shape before moving forward to be sure I was happy. He also took the extra time to fix an ugly bumpy thumb nail. As walk-in guests, we didn't have to wait even a second - sat right down. We happened to come on their grand opening, so we were happy to receive 20% off!! Also, on our receipt, there was a $5 off coupon for the next service - very nice, since my mom was planning to go back for a pedicure soon. I didn't want to come back here because last time a lady name Lynn or linh did my deluxe pedicure and I literally sat down and got back up in 20 minutes my pedicure was done before the lady next to me whom was getting a regular. I decided to come back ONCE AGAIN with a friend. This time i waited maybe 5-10 minutes. A young lady assisted me her name was Truly she was still assisting her client she came and asked if I wanted anything to drink. She made sure my pedicure chair was good and told me she has about 5 minutes left with her client then she will come and assist me right when she check her client out. In my head I was like oh no here it goes. But a few minutes later here she comes with the biggest smile on her face greeting me and assisting me with such great service. She politely asked "did you get a chance to take a look at what kind of pedicure you want today?" I told her just the regular. with no attitude or anything she said "absolutely!!! We can do that" Oh my 10 minutes into my pedicure I asked her for her name and told her how about you tell me what pedicure she think I should get. She Explained each pedicure to me and I loved that she did not just force me into getting an expensive pedicure. I picked the deluxe organic because she said that's her favorite but she assure me that I would be satisfied with ANY pedicure I pick. Truly did such an amazing job. The shop was so busy and you can tell everyone was rushing through customers and getting them out within minutes. But she did not rush on me at all. I love everything about her work ethics. I have been going to Blooms since they first opened and have always been pleased with the service and results. But, the last three times I've gone I only needed a manicure. Yes. They were busy, but all three times they quickly aligned me with a tech. Each time, after about 15 minutes, I was considered done. Kind of a "pay up and get out" attitude. The manicures have been of the quick-and-easy approach with sloppy polish jobs. Because I wasn't asking for all the high dollar stuff? They're close to home, so a big maybe that they get one more shot. If the result turns out to be a repeat of the last three, I'm done and on the hunt for the kind of salon that Blooms once was. read more

1st time to this salon, and never coming back. My daughter wanted acrylic nails and the salon manager who was doing her nails said that it takes too long to do acrylics and that S&S is cheaper and better for her nails, so she agreed to do the option she didn't really want to begin with. Customer service was awful, no attention was given to her nails because she was too focused on everything else. She got up to work on somebody else every five minutes and the end result was not even sufficient. The nails were uneven and thick. She did not clean the cuticles at all, and left glue sticking her nails to her skin. All the while, I sat for 45 minutes soaking my feet for someone to do my pedicure. Totally ignored until I was done waiting and finally got up and left without getting any service. Then, was charged for $45 dollars for my daughters nail service. Ridiculous. Do not suggest using this facility if you want good service. read more
