I went in this weekend to the Andre David salon on somewhat of a whim. My husband has had quite a bit of work in the valley so a lot of our weekends have been spent there. Andre did my hair. I wanted my roots touched up and a trim. The trim was fine, I guess. It was a trim. Nothing special but no complaints either. The color, though, is absolutely awful. My roots are a completely different color than the rest of my hair. I asked him when he took my hair out of he towel if the roots looked lighter because from where I was sitting it appeared that way. He said no, that it was just the lighting. I went home later and realized that it was NOT the lighting. My roots are at least one shade lighter, probably more like two or three. On top of that, a ton of gray hair is still showing. I've posted pictures. In some fairness, I called to let Andre know this was the case and while I'm sure if I lived in the area he would have tried to fix it, I don't.... And call me crazy, if you've been doing hair for as long as he has, this is inexcusable. Also, when I made my appointment nobody told me that they were a cash only establishment. They don't accept credit. This is absurd in my book when you're spending so much money but aside from that, I had to go withdraw money from a random ATM and get hit with fees. Go at your own risk or if you don't care at all about your hair. Now I have to go somewhere else to get it corrected and spend double the money. Ugggghhhh!!
