I've been coming to Brittany for several years now; I was looking for a local stylist who could give me the kind of easy to style, professional look I'd been driving to Modesto to get for years, and after a few disappointments around town I finally found Brittany! She is the most intuitive stylist I've ever had--I have loved everything she's done with my cut, color style every visit, and I'm always able to replicate what she does at home. Plus she gets that I can't make it in for a lot of maintenance appointments, so she gives me a style, color and highlights that can go months and months and still look great! In the last year my hair has for some reason grown thicker and more frizzy, driving me crazy as I struggled to keep it looking sleek and styled. She talked me into a Brazilian Blowout this week, and it's life-changing! I usually look like a shaggy lion if my hair air-drys after a wash or a dip in the pool with the kids--I am SO looking forward to this summer, with no worries about getting my hair wet in the pool or at the lake, and no need for a hot hair-drying/styling session after every shower! This is, by far, the best experience I've had at an in-town salon. Besides the excellent service, Taylor's and my hair turned out perfect! Taylor wanted her hair almost as blond as you can get with being gray! It looks stunning! She, finally, got what she wanted, unlike other salons in town. Brittney did our hair. She's fast and efficient! She's worked everywhere from Los Angeles to New york. She worked on American Idol as hairstylist and done hair for HBO and even was Julia Robert's hair stylist. She came a long way from there and she has a huge clientele. I'm fortunate to know her and blessed that she touched my head!!!!! read more

And that's exactly what I found. And no, you don't have to be a "native oakdalian" to get in here - just a decent human being. I feel like all the bad hairstylists before have led me to Kelly. She stays up to date on current trends and methods and I have never had more compliments on my hair. She's amazing and makes me laugh every time, it's always enjoyable and I look forward to my appointments. She takes great pride in her work and the salon, she only hires the best.
