First time, asked for an acrylic fill. Apparently since it was a Sunday, the only person that knew how to do this was the owner/manager/? EVERYTIME the phone rang, if someone needed access to the cash register, when someone else came in, she STOPPED working on me. She interrupted about 8 times. So for something that normally takes 35 to 40 minutes took ONE HOUR and 10. The cost with french manicure polish was $29 and the typical cost for me is $20. Never returning!!!! read more

Been going here for years. The owner, Carol is always so friendly and remembers me along with small details of my life. My mani/pedis are always done well and look great. I used to come here all the time growing up, and stopped by while I was back in my hometown for a quick mani-pedi with my mom. I felt rushed from the moment I got there. My pedicure came out fine, that wasn't the issue. I asked for a french set for my manicure and was given attitude and told that I should have mentioned that earlier because they're "busy", and was scolded for having a (barely remaining) previous no-chip polish on that she had to take time to remove. My nails were left with uncleaned polish. Really sad this was my experience, used to love this place. read more

I will not recommend this salon for the following reasons: 1. If the owner is doing your nais,, she will constantly leave you to pick up the phone and write down appointments., then return to you without washing her hands. I think, someone doing your cuticles should have clean hands, and not touch phone, pen, etc.. 2. They are rude, and every time I go there, I don't feel welcomed. 3. They give you a punch card, and Offering you the 13th service for free. Last time my no chip manicure supposed to be free, but they charged me for it and gave me a little discount. I googled bail salons near me and I callEd this place and asked if they do powder dip manicures .. I was told they did and I scheduled an appointment for the nest morning .. I believe her name was Carol .. during my service she said they do more no chip mani than dips she seemed to know what she was doing total time 1 hour and 40 mins .. thankfully I had no where to be my nails looked great $58 later including at 20% tip the very next morning was my birthday I had the whole index nail fall off from picking up a cake .. 2 days after that the thumb nail popped off .. don't say you do powder dip manicures of your have no clue what you are doing waste of $60 not to mention the almost 2 hours I spent there lesson learned !!! read more

Went here for the first time today and I have to say that I am very pleased with service received! I could go on and on about what they do here for a no chip and pedicure but I'm sure you get the same everywhere. The only difference is that they are a very clean facility and organized. I like my cuticle very very clean and they did just that. My nail girl didn't tap at my skin and pretend to pull cuticle off. My nails are all the same size and painted very nicely and not crooked. Some places don't even put the nail color or top coat on near the edges. I like the scrub that they put in my feet after the pedicure too! Not your typical nail place. Far beyond what I expected. I've been coming to this salon for a VERY long time! Carol knows me, my mother and my aunt and is very welcoming! She asks about our family and how they're all doing and I've even brought in my boyfriend. She is a very nice lady and they do great work! You should call and make an appointment though because they are very busy! I typically get a pedi and acrylic fill, Carol is the only one who can do acrylic nails so it's best to make an appointment for that! Most other services they can take as walk-ins as long as they have time! Carol cares about her customers and their time! The technicians are friendly and attentive to detail. For $30 You get a manicure and pedicure with a paraffin wax heel treatment. They put on ex-foliating gloves to rub your legs. When they give you your manicure they wash your rings. While your nails are drying they rub your neck They have a large color selection. I just left this location and let me just say the DISRESPECT my bridal party and I received during our visit today was terrible. First off I made an appointment almost 2 weeks ago for 6 people to get No chip Manicures & No chip pedicures for everyone. They said yes that's fine and they will have time. We arrive on time to our appointment and a couple girls asked for acrylic which they said they couldn't do, understandable so we left it for all No chip manicure and no chip pedicures. One of my bridesmaids told "Carol" who we assume is the owner she would do a No chip pedicure and no chip manicure to which she acknowledged. Not only did Carol make her hold her own lamp but she walked away to help two other people that were walk ins in the middle of our appointment all because they wanted acrylics done. We were recommended by a family friend and we had previous great encounters but this was a terrible way to start my wedding weekend. If I was allowed to put 0 stars trust me I would. read more

5 stars because it's truly deserved. Seriously. I'm so glad I finally found "my place." I've been here once before and loved it then, too. The no chip manicures are fantastic - and I'm a tough critic. They really spend the time to do the job right. Last time I was here I got violently ill and threw up (stomach virus) but didn't quite make it to the toilet and ended up vomiting a bit in the bathroom. The lady ran back with me and helped me get my hair out of my face and clean up right away. I apologized over and over and she was still so nice to me telling me not to worry about it. Then she RE-DID my nails because I messed them up in my hurry to make it to the bathroom and wiping my face. If that's not outstanding customer service, I don't know what is. Also, they make sure to address cuticles and ensure the sides of your nails are not missed with polish. Massages. Water. Well ventilated. Overall a truly relaxing and pleasant salon. However, first time I went it was about 20 min until closing and they would NOT take me. I dont think it really takes 20 min for a mani, but most places will still accept people before they actually close!! Tried a second time as my sister actually called and made an appt for herself and they wouldn't take me b/c i didnt make an appt and apparently were too busy. I have never had a place NOT take a walk in. I will NOT be trying again as they make it seem they have enough business. I hope this place closes based on their service alone. They do some good work, but they demand tip forcefully on top of the charge we pay. For Manicure and Pedicure two people will jump on us to do the work. Its like a circus, one fighting with our legs , another playing with our hands. And time to tip, both need to be satisfied. Sophie did a good job on my no chip manicure. She told me that the salon does the best no chip in the area, and time will tell but so far so good. It looks great. The pedicure was nice but the water was really cool and that is unusual. When I mentioned it they warmed it up but it was still not the temp I like for soaking. Finally, it is a nice plus that they clean your rings (if you'd like) while your nails are being done. Service was finished off with a back pounding that managed to feel good. I am a regular here and always get a consistent quality. Some of the girls are slower and more detailed, some of the girls are rushing thru. The place is always busy, but still possible to get a walk-in service. I like that the mani/pedi usually lasts. Also, you get a 2-3 minute neck and shoulder massage at the end. I love blooming nails! All of the ladies are nice and pleasant, and do a good job. They are reasonably priced too! I love getting my no chip manicures from them, because they actually last! I've had no chips before where I would be lucky if they lasted a week to a week and half tops. The last one I got from Blooming Nails lasted almost 3 whole weeks!!! I'm really rough on my hands, so that was a miracle in and of itself. Also, they are very clean, which I appreciate quite a bit! I got acrylics done here. They are super expensive for a nail place! You could go to any other place and probably pay half the price. After they charging so much I wouldn't say they do an amazing job. I've had better for much cheaper. They are nice there, but too expensive for the job they do. I had a great nail salon were I used to live and when I moved near the area I tried many different nail salons to receive the same experience as my old salon but could not find one until I came across Blooming Nails.
