Clean salon and very spa like. Staff is professional, friendly and put together. It is like being in a high end salon in the city right here in the 'burbs. Treatment is well worth the prices. I went to get a pedicure today at Blooming Nails. I was only there literally 20 minutes when she was done. She rushed me so much and ask for me to pay and give a tip. Thats so rude.The women looked into my purse and said she needed her tip money. The owner knew I was unhappy and as I was walking out she told me I forgot to tip her girl. There English is so bad I coul d not even have a decent conversation with her.I should of let her take the money so I could of called the police for theft. Tips are if only if the customer wants to give it. How dare that owner ask me were it is. I will be telling everybody I know and posting it everywhere so she looses customers. read more

All these ladies do a great job on my nails. I've been going here for years. They really clean up my cuticles. Love the neck massage. Pedicures are so relaxing. The place is very clean, cute and comfortable. I usually call not long before I go just to make sure I can get in. I don't expect to them to have a herd of people there waiting to do my nails in case I happen to walk in. Just keep them on your phone and give them a shout the day of and they always have a time that works for me. read more

I've been going to Blooming nails for several years and they are consistent. Are they the best quality? No, I'll go to Mario Tricoci if I want serious pampering... But for a price. But when I need a good soak and nail clean up, this place is the one I go to. No chips last for a good long time, so I would recommend them. I always call for an appt- I see people walk in and are turned away because they are busy or just don't have enough staff and then the customers get mad.... Just plan ahead people! I like them for mani-pedis. They include a paraffin heel treatment in their basic pedi. Clean, nice equipment, and have been polite to me.

This was like going to the dentist - gripping the arms of the chair and it just went on and on. How can a pedicure last one and a half hours? When the person, a very young man, is just learning and the rest of the women in this place just leave him high and dry. I don't blame this young man - he was trying. But the obvious lack of support from others left me (hello - I'm your CUSTOMER!!!) stuck in an unfortunate situation. Not only that - this pedicure was painful and I've lost 2 nails since then. Then to top that off, I get charged over $40 for a pedicure alone when they have a special for mani and pedi at $38. How does that work? If you're there long enough and suffer enough pain you get to pay more too. Obviously I will never be back. read more

This was my 3rd time here and I have yet to be disappointed. It is extremely clean and the mani/pedi's are very meticulous! They did take me as a walk in, but I appreciate the fact that they honor their appointments first. I have been to many places with an appointment and had to sit there and wait forever for them to finish the walk in's. At least they are honest and don't leave you sitting. They may be a little bit $ more then some other places, but the service and quality is worth it. You get what you pay for. They charge me $55 for a no chip manicure (that lasts me 3 weeks plus) and paraffin pedi. Oh and that price includes removing the old no-chip. I think all of that is very reasonable. read more

First I'd like to say that I have been going here for a few years mostly because it's close to home and is clean. That being said, I will never go back again . Every time I go, I leave feeling like the women there are gossiping in their language about the customers, and now that I'm looking on yelp, I see that it's true. The owner is rude and so are some of the girls. There are a few nice girls who work there but not enough to keep my business. Usually when I go I bring along my granddaughter or nieces so I am paying for 2-3 people so I have given them lots of business and still I get treated rudely. Today I brought along 2 other people who I treated for service and when I asked the owner to just add their service to my punch card because the live 40 minutes away, she refused even though I was the one spending the money. Am revising my previous review of 2011. The environment is still super relaxing and am still getting the foot massage ($10 for 10 minutes). If I ask the technician to pay more attention to the foot, it works well. The last year or so, the service has been very good and through. No complaints, really. The employees do talk to each other in their own language, but it is not loud and it is not constant. Will continue going here. read more

i have been getting my nails done for years and this place was the WORST. They dont speak or understand english well. I came in for a set of $50 acrylics wich is double the price that you would spend some where else.It took the girl 2 hours.She did not speak to me at all even when i told her she was burning my finger nails with the drill and after she put 2 coats of polish on my nails and all around the skin she didnt put a top coat.OMG!!! never ever coming here again even if it was free. read more

I've been going to this salon for the last 2 years, but today definitely will be the last time. I was a walk-in around 1pm and the salon was full. Barely acknowledging my entrance, I asked if I could have a pedicure (realizing every seat was taken, I was willing to wait) and the lady in the first station rudely replied that it was not a good time. So I asked if I could make an appointment and return at a later time and after standing there like an idiot for a bit, NOT GETTING ACKNOWLEDGED OR GETTING AN ANSWER, I walked out. I've had friends drive from very far to come here with me and the last time I was there (3 weeks ago) the same lady made a snarky comment to my friend about only accepting cash so she could tip. While the pedicures are decent, they've gotten ruder and ruder each time I've gone. But because of how close it is to my house I let it slide. Today was it. They literally suck up to patrons of a certain race and others they treat like we're stupid (I'm Hispanic). I was so furious I called and asked for a manager - and when the "manager" got on the phone, she had the nerve to lie and say she had only asked me to wait a few minutes. If you don't want walk-ins, take that stupid sign down that says "Walk-ins welcome". Learn English. Get a damn receptionist. And look your customers in the face and answer them when they ask a question. I didn't go in expecting free service! Never going back again! I go to there on a regular basis there is only one lady there that does a really good job not sure of her name. I go there with the hopes of her doing my nails. The other ladies don't know what they are doing at all. I went there and when the lady was almost done with my manicure I saw there was a screech on my nail so I showed it to her and asked her to fix it so she took some more nail polish and painted over it anyway she should have repainted the nail not just the area I can still see the scratch on my nail not happy. Then she gave me a pedicure which felt like she only soaked my feet and then without doing anything robed the brushes on my feet instead of cleaning my feet and just did a terrible job. I can soak my feet in water at home for free. So after she was done I decided since I was so unhappy with what she did I didn't tip her for a bad job the owned walked up to me and told me to tip the lady I gave her a $1 bill and walked out will never go back even thou I was there regular customer the owner is too pushy to tip even tough 3 of the ladies don't know what they are doing. read more

Came to Blooming Nails to get my nails done before my vacation. The lady that did my nails criticized me from the moment I sat down. I wanted a no-chip french manicure and she kept telling me I couldn't do it because my nails were too short and one cracked. I understand that, but she didn't have to keep yelling it at me every 5 seconds. I told them that if she couldn't do a french then I wanted to change the color to make sure it matches my toes. The technician proceeded to paint my toes the color I originally had. I ended up loving the color I chose for my finger nails since the french was not possible. However, I didn't like my color on the toes. I went with a french and she never asked me what color I wanted for the base color. By the time I looked down she had already painted them a clear color. Once we finally sat down to complete the manicure that had already started as I was getting my pedicure all the staff started to run out and start their car. They closed at 7:30 and it was 7:15pm. I was planning on completely drying my toes before I left because it was -10 degrees. She told me I had to leave in the flip flops because I was gonna ruin my nails.
