The hair dresser Kaylee Lambert was very unprofessional!!!! I came in to get some blonde highlights and they came out GOLD! Also, Kaylee did NOT blend my Roots at all! It would be one thing if I just had to get a toner, but they don't want to give me a re-fund Or work with me at all! My wedding is in a week and Kaylee is blaming the horrible work she did on me! I really wanted to like this salon. I liked my haircut, but I got a basic trim anyone could do. The issue was with the styling I paid for (I mainly came for the styling as I had events all weekend). The stylist blow dried my hair and it was mostly straight so she offered to curl it. I said okay sure I prefer bigger looser curls. She pulled out a very thing curling wand and I asked her to use a bigger one because my hair holds curls really well and that would give me pin curls and not blow out looking curls. She told me the salon doesn't have bigger curlers and curled my hair with the tiny wand and sure enough my hair looked like Shirley Temple's.... I refuse to believe a hair salon doesn't have bigger curlers... great atmosphere, really nice and professional receptionist, as for services... I happened upon this salon when I first moved to Lubbock and it's been the best part of Lubbock! Madi does my hair and is amazing. The whole salon has a gorgeous and relaxing atmosphere. This salon has messed up my hair soooo much! I spent $1,600 to get hand tied extensions along with a full highlight and my hair turned out orange. I was very unhappy and expressed how unhappy I was and I was only refunded $150. They attempted to fix it but was still extremely unhappy. I went there a second time for a partial highlight and my roots were grey and my hair was blonde. The stylist didn't fix it she just sent me home with shampoo to wash with myself that was suppose to fix it. Yet again, paid $200 to still be unhappy. I've never had so many issues with my hair. I asked for a certain style - it didn't work out exactly how I'd would have liked it . It was a clean, pleasant place .

I liked the salon at first but the stylist I was going to wasn't addressing the concerns I had with my hair. I went to her for months with the promise that she could make me blonde and after my 4th or 5th visit my hair looked like a reverse ombré (dark on the bottom and blonde on the top) I left the place in tears because I hated it so much. I had been going to the same stylist since I started going to Bloomington and when I tried to address my concerns to her she told me "it's just the lighting in here that it didn't look dark on the bottom" and that she would have to cut off all my hair to get it the way I wanted it (I have long hair, to right above my butt). After leaving visibly upset I've never heard back from the stylist, I made another appointment with a new stylist at a new salon 2 days after my last appointment and the new stylist had no problem fixing the damage that was done to my hair and she fixed the previous concerns that I had before all without cutting off my hair. I'm not sure if maybe the stylist I had just didn't have the experience to address my concerns and thought that over time she could figure it out but I would've preferred her to be upfront and honest about this than wasting my time and money to only make my hair worse. I would've really of just appreciated an apology but I didn't even get that, she only made me feel like it was all in my head. read more
