    What a completely incompetent organization. They don't train forward-facing staff nor do they…read moreprovide staff in customer service, billing and internet support with the tools they need to do their jobs. JEA likes to screw with their customers and make them jump through hoops like they are performing circus monkeys. They put up barriers to people paying their bills through their own website for some unknown reason that makes absolutely no sense to anyone nor can anyone in leadership at the company explain all of the barriers. I am certain there are many employees at JEA collecting a paycheck for unnecessary or completely non-productive work. I can tell you that I have never once gotten a rebate that I submitted through JEA. I have never gotten an adjustment to my sewer bill for two separate occasions where someone turned our outside water spigot on when we were out of town. Both times resulting in bills that were over $1,000. And now, I changed banks and have been fighting with these idiots for 6 months to allow me to update my banking information so that I could pay my bill and continue with autopay that I have been on for the last 20 years without incident. I hate JEA. They relish in their incompetence.

I had the utilities disconnected on the 14th yet I'm being charged 398 dollars for utilities I didn't even use! I have never had this problem and my utility bills are always paid on time. I'd like to have them make the necessary review and adjustment. Even with 187 and 82 it doesn't add up to 398. Something is going on and they need to stop scamming people and raising their bills. I don't even use 398 dollars worth of electricity, the sewer and water appear fine. Read my meter two times in three weeks which is suspicious. Update; I got my bill fixed and I paid it once JEA confirmed it. So just watch your bills and make sure you are paying what you actually owe, not an inflated bill based on a mistake.

    Outstanding Service from Samantha and Gerald - Highly Recommend Sawyer, now AmeriGas!…read moreI recently reached out to AmeriGas (formerly Sawyer Gas) in Jacksonville after years of the tank sitting unused. The first of several calls were frustrating due to the automated system and long wait times, and it was 48 hours before they called me back. But that was quickly forgotten thanks to the excellent follow-through. Samantha called me back and was incredibly friendly, patient, and efficient in setting up the service appointment. She made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Then Gerald, the technician, came out and truly impressed me. He was thorough and professional in the completion of the work. He addressed the wait due to staff training and professionally represented the company throughout. He carefully inspected everything and made sure the tank, lines, and hot tub heater hookup were all safe and working perfectly. Gerald is the perfect example of great on-site service. If Samantha is the voice of AmeriGas and Gerald is the face, then this company is in excellent hands. I've been a customer since 2000 and will absolutely continue being one -- and I will happily refer and recommend AmeriGas to everyone I know. Thank you Samantha and Gerald for turning a potentially complicated situation into a five-star experience!

Never contacted, when I call they place me on hold for hours without asking so I will hang up. I want there tank out of my yard. Zero customer service. If you stay on hold too long they keep turning up the volume hoping you will get annoyed and hang up. I strongly urge you to not use Amerigas, find a local company where you can talk to a person in person, not a call center in India.
