Shane Lambert from Blossman Services is hands-down one of the best technicians I've ever had work at our home. He recently serviced our tankless propane water heater and cleaned the water tank, and the difference in his professionalism was felt immediately. Shane was on time, prepared, and clearly knows his craft inside and out. He explained everything in simple terms, spotted small issues before they became big ones, and left the area spotless. On top of his technical skills, his people skills are excellent--friendly, respectful, and patient in answering questions. Reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to doing the job right. Christine seems to be steering the ship of bad service at Blossom Gas. Despite having my gas fireplace scheduled for repairs for over three weeks, I received a disappointing call less than 24 hours before the appointment, informing me that they couldn't provide the service. Curious about the reason, I inquired and was told that one must be an existing customer. I explained my attempt to become a customer last year, which resulted in no call back on two separate occasions. In response, Christine raised her voice, asserting that their service people are too occupied with customers to spare time for non-customers, and that I should consider myself "fortunate for even receiving a call". Needless to say, Blossom Gas won't be gaining me as a customer ever. Also, now I know why the ranking on Google is so bad for this company! read more

These folks have been absolutely fantastic to work with. My business rents several large propane tanks that they service/fill for us and they've made our lives SO much easier. I was compelled to write this review yesterday when Corey, their service manager, went WAY above and beyond to help us with an issue we were having with a leaking tank. They were completely swamped with service calls, but knowing our business needed the propane working Corey actually came to the property with another tech after hours at 6pm to fix the issue. Just a reminder to ask BLOSSMAN GAS for an update on their "policies". Apparently when you sign Up you agree that they can change terms without notifying you, including adding random fees to your account and they dont have to notify you or tell you about them. Absolutely horrible customer service. Ended up costing $150/ year to rent a tank from them And then they charge $60 to pickup if you don't like random fees being racked on without notice or otherwise disconnect service. No actual utility would get away with this. Horrible experience getting set up to start. I should have known then to run. read more

So far, and the jury is still out(!), I am finding this company (Blossman) to be VERY BADLY MANAGED! They could not get their act together to get propane to heat a house of mine in Black Mountain for a whole month in Nov., 2015. They then disregarded the amount of propane that I asked for and tripled it AND TRIPLED THE COST! Now, it appears they have a bookkeeping error which is causing them to charge me ANOTHER $600.00 when no propane was ordered OR DELIVERED FOR JAN OR FEB 2016. IT IS ONE MISTAKE AFTER ANOTHER. I have never seen such appalling mismanagement--not only in terms of delivery of necessary services and materials, but also in terms of BOOKEEPING AND BILLING. I WILL WITHOLD FINAL JUDGMENT UNTIL THEY HAVE A CHANCE TO FIGURE THIS OUT--3 days from now: March 26, 2016. read more

These guys are a joke. The WORST customer service and worst experience I've had with anyone in this kind of business. They didn't even show up to one house to install a tank, and at another property a tenant ordered repairs and they stuck me with the bill after forcing me to take over their lease! Jeff is a moron. They don't return emails on time and when you call the office in town you get rerouted to Charlotte and asked to leave a voicemail. If you're not buying an overpriced grill they're not interested in chatting with you. This place is a joke. read more

The crew at Blossman's went above measures to locate a propane leak we were having over the weekend, They promptly replied to our phone message we left on a Sunday afternoon and had service out to our house by Monday afternoon. The crew, Tim and Dennis spent many hours trying to locate an obscure leak and advised on us maintenance measures that would save the logs in our fireplace as opposed to buying new ones at around $400. I appreciated their honesty and integrity. Cory, the manager, meanwhile back in the office backed his crew with suggestions and made sure as a customer I was pleased by all measures taken during the repair visit. BEWARE...this is truly the worst company I have ever dealt with in my lifetime with the dumbest people on earth. I am signed up for a monthly automatic payment of $10. The tank I had was freezing up every time it got below 32 degrees so we could even make breakfasts. . This happened ^ times...SIX. So after FOUR service calls by bumbling idiots they finally sent the only intelligent life form in their office, Joey. He not only fixed the problem but explained what the others overlooked. There was no charge as the problem was Blossmans and my unit is rented. A month later I find Blossman took $154. ...UNAUTHORIZED, from my checking account. Blossman just took it upon themselves to dip into my account. Then when I tried getting them to refund it and after they admitted they made the mistake they did not get the money back into my account. I had to file a fraud claim with my bank. The Blossman office manager, David and his assistant Kim were condescending and rude. She had the audacity to call me rude. Really? Why would I even have been on the phone with Blossman if they had not taken it upon themselves to go into my checking account UNAUTHORIZED and steal $154. I've had friends in Asheville tell me they have had the same issues with this company. Avoid them at all costs. read more
