I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience as I was deeply underwhelmed by my recent lash lift + tint at Lucia Lash. Over the past decade, I've had lash extensions and lifts regularly at various places in New York, Japan, and Korea, so I know what to expect. I went to Lucia Lash based on glowing reviews, but unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to the positive feedback. Maybe my standards are just high, but for the price and location, I expect pretty much a certain level of expertise. My lashes turned out crimped, uneven, and "squiggly", which is a first for me. I've never had a result like this in over 7 years of regular lash lifts. I use a lash conditioner daily, but my lashes have been falling out since the service, showing how much weaker they've become. Mascara and a lash curler are even difficult to use because the lashes are at different levels. The photos I've attached show my lashes the night of the service and 10 days later. Immediately after the service, the lift was okay, but after just one cleanse, the results were far from what I expected. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I reached out to the salon, they told me my lashes were "already lifted" and explained that "sometimes the perm doesn't show the same results due to lash condition."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Given my experience with lash lifts, I know that's not the issue, and the lack of professional aftercare only added to my frustration. Was sent a reminder text about my upcoming appointment one day prior, but was with a different lash tech that I did not know. I was very excited to hear that Lucia Lash opens a new salon in Brooklyn, especially my neighborhood, Park Slope! My eyebrows are sparse and thinning due to too much tweezing.
