Very disappointing experience, second time here...figured I'd give them another shot...since first time a powder manicure took about 2 hours. Made an appointment again but ended up not getting started on for over 45 minutes. When I walked in I was a bit grossed out by the sewage smell that never went away. I asked the head lady in charge if they had the color I showed her on my phone...she said yes. I finally get Lisa who asks why I'm getting powder and tells me UV gels better and kept asking why I don't get it instead...I said I'll look into it if it's healthy or not...she persisted...I declined repeatedly..she started laughing and talking to the technician next to her-all I could make out was uv and powder in what sounded like a complaining, condescending tone. (The first time the leading lady tried to convince me to get gel as well but in a much nicer way-so it appears they don't like doing powder and removing it) Once she's done removing my last manicure she pulls out uv gloves and tries to put them on my hands...I asked her if she was going to do UV gel anyway even though I said no....she says yes, I tell her no, she starts complaining again in her language to the technicians near her. I had to ask if she knew how to do powder as I was beginning to get worried. After 2 hours the end result was fine, but in a color other than what I asked for and I'll probably have to go get them redone. So Be warned if you do go here...make sure you get gel! (And bring a translator) *also know they do not give complimentary massages while your nails dry as most other salons in the area do, instead they have a man who asks you if you want a massage, starts and then tells you the fee. Thankfully I picked up on this from seeing him do this to others before he got to me. read more

1st time there & had a great experience. The women there are very nice & attentive. Did my mani/ pedi @ the same time which is rare! Place is clean & had a pleasant vibe. This nail salon is first-class, and the prices are reasonable. The place is less than a year old and is bright and clean. All the nail tools are properly sanitized and come out of a wrapped bag. I've been coming here for manicures since October 2023 and I'm extremely satisfied. The owner (Donna) is a caring person that strives for perfection for all the services provided to her customers. Donna has owned nail salons in Northport, Woodbury and Greenvale but now Glen Cove is her only location and worth a visit. Donna has some long-term workers that have followed her for many years from her previous locations. This tells me that she treats her employees well. Blossom also provides body massages and facials. I haven't tried these yet but all the customers I see leaving the store seem to be very satisfied. read more

I never had a 1 hour massage/therapy session before. I was recommended to this beautiful new nail salon and day spa. It was amazing. David is an awesome massage therapist that I highly recommend. Donna, the owner, can't be more friendly and accommodating. Everybody is raving about her on Facebook and around town. She keeps the place immaculate and will easily pass the "white glove test" anytime. The entire staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel so comfortable you feel like family. Ahead of our appointment (for 7 mani-pedis), they were super accommodating & excited to have us. They invited us to bring champagne & snacks to the salon. I liked our experience enough & they were friendly, but my nails (dip powder) came out extremely thick & made my fingers look wide for some reason (I get dip powder all the time, this was the worst I've ever seen). After my mom paid for everything & tipped extremely well, I got a text the night before my wedding from the owner saying we missed a pedicure and I needed to Zelle her $60. I sent a screenshot of the website, asking where the $60 pedi was listed and she said it was $50 and a $10 tip I owed them. This made me super uncomfortable, texting the bride the night before her wedding demanding money when we had already paid over $700 to the salon & adding on a tip without asking. I'm new to the area. I hate having to look for new "normals" like where I'm going to get my nails done. I was pleasantly surprised when I came here. It is better than a lot of the salons I used to go to at home! It is very modern and feels clean. I come here for the nail services, but they offer other things like facials, massages. They are priced very decently. Before I had a regular person, I tried a few different people and everyone there did a great job. They earned confidence from me. Donna, I'm not sure what her role is, but she definitely manages in some capacity (other posts allude to her being the owner, but I have not confirmed this), and I can tell she holds everyone to a high standard. They have endless color options, and they do all the cool things people want. There's a guy who comes and gives massages ---- I usually don't like massages, but this guy...he is amazing! My family has been coming here since it opened a few months ago. The staff is always welcoming and kind. The owner Donna remembers her clients and makes sure to meet their needs. I became wheelchair bound and she accommodates each service for me. My mother and I went to get our nails and eyelashes done for an upcoming wedding and I was treated and assisted to be able to have the eyelashes applied. It is very hard to find handicap accessible businesses let alone ones that go above and beyond. They also stayed past normal hours to finish with us. The business is clean and well maintained.
