I took my 3 year old for his first cleaning here and he did such a great job. The technicians were great. They did an awesome job of making me and my little one feel comfortable. The wait time was not so great. We were waiting a while before actually being called back. The front desk receptionist didn't have great customer service. She didn't greet or acknowledged us when we walked in. Overall, it was a good experience. The most important part to me is how the technicians and dentist interact with their customers and they were terrific. read more

first visit and so far loved it. when I first called and made an appointment, the woman was extremely friendly, was able to pull up my insurance VERY quickly without me even having to ask, and spoke right away what was covered. I can't tell you how amazing that was. when I got to the appointment, everyone was extremely nice. and I know it's common, because they're working with kids, but not as genuine as this place. you can tell when someone is genuinely nice and caring. and they were ALL genuine. they have a cute arcade room which was a plus and my son loved It. it made him relax during the visit. the people always kept conversation with HIM instead of just me. I could tell it helped him from becoming nervous and anxious. they recommended pulling his severely loose front baby teeth because his adults were already down and when I expressed how much it was, a lady was very quick and reassuring in getting me prices. I pay so much in my sons medical bills alone, between co payments and medications, so she didn't make me feel weird having to ask how much the procedure would cost or that it was even a bother. can you tell I have anxiety too? lol lastly, and one of the most important interactions, the time to remove my sons baby teeth. i wish I had gotten other peoples names because I love giving credit when credit is due, but for now. Shanda and the Dr who assisted her in sealing my sons molars and removal of the top baby teeth did amazing. They continued to talk to him and encourage him as we didn't proceed with the gas and were very responsive as soon as they realized the instruments made him nervous. I can't tell you how great that felt as a parent knowing there's not much you can do to help other than verbally say "you're doing amazing baby." thank you for everyone being exactly who you are. Been here 4 times, too many. The staff are all very nice but the dentists should all quit their jobs. They are not very nice for pediatric dentists. We came today and my daughter was scared, the assistants were nice but as soon as the dentist saw her crying, she told us "go calm her down, I have another appointment" uh... we had an appointment as well what does she mean!? She didn't even try.., Anyways made us wait another 10+ minutes and they gave us another dentists who was very rough. Overall the experience here is poor. read more

I've been taking my daughter here for the past 2 years. I love how all the staff, assistants, and dental hygenists are all so very friendly and really knows how to speak to kids and make them feel comfortable. HOWEVER, the dentist, Dr. Lee, herself is not friendly nor does she seem children-friendly. She doesn't speak to you nor your child, does what she needs to do, speaks to the hygenist, and leaves. This past Saturday, I noticed a new Indian dentist, and she has the same demeanor. Thankfully, my child doesn't need any other service besides cleaning and therefore, we don't have to deal with the dentists much. Like all medical place, it's like a no-win situation. Either you get a really good doctor with poor staffing or a fantastic staff w/a not-so-likeable doctor. I really want to give this place 3 stars for the dentists, but ALL the staffs were so great with the children there. This is the only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars instead plus the bonus fact that they are open on Saturdays. If my daughter needs more service than cleaning in which she has to deal with the dentists more often, I will need to start looking for other children dentistries. read more

This is a very clean dentist office. The staff has lots of patients and knows how to interact with small children. They have a room with tables for multiple kids at once to lay on and get their teeth cleaned. There are TV's on the ceiling playing cartoons to keep the kids occupied. The hygienist explains exactly what she is going to do before she does the work. The use toothpaste that does not have flavor and I personally think that's great and suited my children. The only part I didn't like was as I was speaking to the dentist about the visit one of the front desk ladies came out asking about payments. Which I clearly had to walk back by anyway so I don't know why she couldn't talk to me then. read more

I love the staffs here and how sanitized they are. They have 4 stations for cleaning and several rooms for additional work. They accept most insurance and accept patients up to age 18. Very nice atmosphere. Also have small flat screens for children to watch a movie while getting their teeth cleaned. Only pet peeve is that they over book appointments and the wait can be up to an hour even with an appointment. I usually do Saturday appointments, I believe the earlier the appointment the better. Perhaps weekdays appointment are better. read more

My husband took our son here to get checked out after a fall knocked one of his front teeth loose. Both visits (the initial and follow-up) he found Dr. Lee to have poor bedside manner as she was very minimal with her interactions and seemed like she always had somewhere else to be (and she did, as there was a waiting room full of patients). He felt that he wasn't ever able to engage in dialogue with her about his prognosis and felt very uncomfortable asking questions. He described her as "far from warm" and the office felt like a factory just focused on getting its little patients in and out as quickly as possible. One consolation was that the nurses were the complete opposite and were very nice. We will not be returning to this practice and will be finding a better one for his future dental checkups. read more

The dentist we saw this morning had the worst bedside manner. She didn't introduce herself to me. Didn't introduce herself to my son. Just sits down with the biggest annoyed face I've seen. Says "Bite." My son didn't hear her. She says again: "I said bite. And keep it that way." Now before I had time to process why this lady was talking to my son like he was stupid, she gets up and sits down with the next patient. She didn't even see him for more than a minute. I'm not even exaggerating. This was our first and last visit. The staff is friendly and the office is nice and clean but the actual dentist was horrible. This was not Dr. Lee. I can't even give the name of the dentist we saw since she never gave it to me. Would not recommend. read more

I've been coming to this dentist for 3 years. They are accommodating with days and times. I always choose a Saturday due to my working hours and my children love the set up, the friendly dental assistants and the dentist (when she doesn't have to fill a tooth. Lol) TV screens are everywhere and a game station is located in the back. The office is clean and the staff is friendly from front to back. I would recommend there office to any one. The Staff is friendly but Lee and the other dentist are not up to par. Problems and realization came after my second child needed dental work. My first child never had cavities so mainly work was done by support staff, no problems. Dr. Lee will rush work, not take time to talk to children & parents, basically lacks any compassion and competency. The Indian woman dentist gave the same vibe, never smiles very cold. These dentist never smile to kids. My 2nd child had cavities filled and one tooth looked like it was drilled and not properly filled, on next checkup I was told tooth needed work and I argued it wasn't done properly done and the hole was there after the 1st drilling. At first they denied then said it got worse but then staff acted clueless. I was thinking REALLY in my head. I decided to take my daughters out completely and research another dentist. Complete 360 on our new dentist. He talks sweet to my girls, constantly reassures them, never straps, uses light gas but never puts them to sleep. My daughter used to cry fear the dentist now asks when her next visit will be. Do not take your kids here, we took them here because I wanted my daughters treated by women I thought would be motherly, compassionate & competent. read more

For a first dentist visit and first time in this office, not at all impressed. It was a cattle call. Quickly called to the back from waiting in the outer office, only to wait almost an hour along with several other screaming kids. They were all lined up and the dr went down the line looking at them. Again, like a herd of cattle. I expected a much better experience. First and last visit. read more

Everyone here is very friendly and great with children. I highly recommend bringing your children here for cleanings and any other dental procedures needed. They have been great with my son and daughter and did a great job of gaining my sons trust after poor experiences at another dental office. I took my 4 year old daughter to this practice for the 1st time. We have previously been going to a different practice which we thought was ok until we came here and realized what we have been missing. The nurses at this practice are far above exceptional. The dental hygienist is super sweet and interacted with my daughter to make her comfortable during her visit. Ms. JEAN made this visit so easy breezy for us. She was warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. She knows her stuff! So happy we found this place! read more

I can honestly say they are very patient, nice and helpful. I started off taking my son to Children's Dentistry of Dunwoody which my son had become scared & traumatize with them, so I moved him to Tebo Dentistry on Beaver Ruin & since he was traumatized with the previous dentistry, he wasn't being real cooperative with the Tebo staff, and I think the doctor spent like 5 minutes with him and referred us to Sugarloaf Children's Dentistry, to get the procedure he needed to get done with them since Sugarloaf had the equipment to help him stay calm, But once we got to Sugarloaf Children's Dentistry there was no need for that, the staff was so patient with him, they were able to do the procedure with no problem and no need of laughing gas or whatever Tebo had told me they would have to use on my son. We have been with Sugarloaf Children's Dentistry ever since and wouldn't change them for nothing. The whole staff is great! read more

I took my 3 year old son here for his first dental cleaning. The cleaning and x-rays went well. He had 2 cavities in his back molars, which the dentist said she would go ahead and fill. Long story short, this was a bad decision and was one of the worst experiences in my and my son's lives. The dentist and staff were unprofessional and aside from having TV's and cartoons on the wall, the staff had no business working with children. On top of that, the dentist didn't give my son numbing cream before giving him shots. Having to sit in a corner while my son screamed and pleaded to be released from a velcro body suit that strapped him to a board was bad enough, but then for an assistant to take a defensive pose with me when I went to rub my son's leg in support was altogether another hell storm of enragement. I will NEVER go back to this dentist and recommend that you go elsewhere as well. read more
