I had a big project and he was very patient and took the time to identify the trees and share his thoughts as well. He can do so much for the fruit trees to help debulk/concentrate the growths as well as pruning, I was really happy to hear about the options to simplify and maximize my harvest. We settled on a price with a handshake and then set the date for the work. The project was done very nicely and well and not a spot of loose branches or leaves that they didn't clean up and cart away themselves which was very impressive! There was one thing I pointed out that I asked if he could come back to trim and his brother Steve was happy to do so in no time. Of all the companies that provided quotes, JC Tree Experts was the most detailed. Some simply scribbled a price on their business card, but JC Tree Experts emailed a detailed quote explaining exactly what work was included, debris hauled away, etc., photos of the trees to be worked on, arborist certification, and even their insurance certificate as evidence that the company and their employees were covered in the event of accident or injury on our property. This was by far more than any other company provided, and it was a clear indication of their level of professionalism. Theirs was not the lowest quote, but was much more reasonable than some. They arrived as scheduled to do the work - in fact, a little early. It was a large crew with two large trucks and a wood chipper. The crew confirmed the expectations with us and set to work. They were all cheerful and friendly, but worked quite efficiently, completing the work in less than an hour. I will bring them back to thin out the canopies in a year or two. One more thing worth noting - during our initial walkthrough I mentioned the new pavers on the ~70' long driveway. Marcos assured me that they would be careful and would pull the large truck only to the end of the driveway ramp.
