She's super friendly and very open with communication (in terms of if she has to push out or move up your requested appointment time). Melate has been my go to sugar/brow artist for probably 5 years now and I've only had phenomenal experiences with her. Hands down, she is the most talented artist I've ever been serviced by. I initially started coming to her when I found her lash page on ig and fell in love with her looks but my eyes have always had problems with the glue so I started sugaring and brow wax/lams/tints. The results are to die for! Melate is so easy going, really easy to converse with, she's hilarious, and very gentle hands. I've fallen asleep in multiple brow sessions because she's so calming and gentle I absolutely LOVE that she takes her time and doesn't rush you through a sugaring session in 15 mins like at European wax center. She does extractions included!!! Not just one or two, but she gets in there and removes everything so you're feeling like a GODDESS. What else can you ask for tbh. I moved a few hours away but will absolutely book with her any time I'm back in the Bay. If you're looking for a lash artist, I'd highly recommend her as well. As I mentioned, my eyes don't do well with the glue but she made a few recommendations, tried a few different things to help and eventually we found something that works. Some nasal spray on a qtip under my eyes before and after getting lashed and a lash bath right after worked wonders. Honestly beautiful work. For my brows, I only trust this woman.
