I have no issue with paying top dollar for an expert when it comes to beauty services. I do not feel the attention to detail was there. I do not like leaving such reviews but I have never got a skin cut at other comparable eyebrow salons. Been going to Elle since 2014 and no one knows my brows more than she does! Ever since I found her I've never been disappointed. She's accommodating and extremely understanding! Her prices are WORTH IT because of many factors. 1. Cleanliness of the studio 2. Everything is sanitized and hygienic 3. Friendly and easy to talk to 4. Very understanding with appointments 5. She's the best in the brow game If you don't like her service, that's a shame because clearly it takes a lot to be an established esthetician who has to book your appointments months in advance to ensure you are taken care of you. NO shows are not tolerated. Oh yah, she does send text message reminders and you're more than welcome to cancel on square app or reschedule if the time doesn't permit or just cuz you don't want to go. Beauty is pain, time and it costs money. Don't like it? Go get you brows waxed elsewhere where you might get an infection cuz they're not sanitizing their tools properly. Let me start this off by saying that I rarely write reviews but Elle's character really pushed me to write this. I had my first appointment with Elle last year for eyebrow waxing and got my skin burned. I decided not to write a review because accidents happen and it wasn't worth writing a bad review about. This year I decided to give it another chance and booked brow lami with a two week wait given her popularity. The morning of the appointment I get a text from Elle 2 HOURS before my scheduled appointment at 10:30 am saying that she has to cancel because her kid caught a bug and would have to reschedule. I replied back as soon as I can letting her know that it was ok, I understand, etc. and hope her kid gets better and yes to rescheduling. She replied with a thank you - with no effort, lack of accommodation to reschedule me back in. 24 hours later, she replies to me with an opening a week out. I was asleep (I work nights and sleep most of the day) and missed her text, and 5 hours later she highlights her message with a question mark, prompting me to text her back. And waking me up. I have been very flexible and genuinely understanding of the situation but the lack of communication and accountability was very unprofessional as a business owner. read more

Elle is a brow genius, and it's not debatable. I followed Elle to her business since her days working at a brow counter in a large beauty retailer. I've tried other brow "artists" in the past, but they were not qualified to be called that and botched them. Elle's execution is consistently precise, and I have never, in the 6+ years of seeing her, been disappointed in the end result. Elle's studio is impeccably clean and she holds herself to the highest of sanitation standards. Elle always remembers what kind of brows I like, but if I want a little adjustment, communication with her is very comfortable and easy. She always takes her time to discuss what desired look we're going for and never disappoints. I've always gotten the standard wax and shape but when she introduced the henna I was hooked! The "holes" and blonde strands I have in my eyebrows really need the color tint and look amazing when henna is applied. It lasts a few weeks and I don't need to apply any product in-between services.
