I haven't completed my project (or even started for that matter) but could not wait to recommend this company based on the outstanding customer service...I mean totally above and beyond!!!!! I have a complicated job replacing an obsolete pool light. I had a couple of company's tell me no before I finished describing the job, "been there, done that, not worth the hassle." Rebecca and the team at Blu Dolphin have had amazing communication and follow up in trying to (successfully) locate a replacement light that will fit our 1970's Anthony Pool. They have provided me with resources, given free advice, and offered to take on a job that may prove difficult. Dick at Blu Dolphin saved us. Our pool project got held up by the town permit requirements, Covid, and then my original contractors ended up getting sick. Dick came in and dealt with the town directly as well as coordinated with my architect. Yes, we had to get an architect to remodel our pool as the town required computerized plans! His team was pulled in many directions as other pool projects seemed to keep taking priority and we could not get the crew on-site to finish the project. However, Dick escalated our project and found a way to free up his crew so we could get the pool done. Dick managed the process and got our pool filled and working perfectly! If you are remodeling your pool, give Dick and his team a look. He also referred us to an excellent dealer to finish the coping connection to our concrete decking. Our concrete guy promised to handle the "Decco Seal" but then ended up saying the pool guy needed to handle that sealing when he decided to take on another project. Dick ended up making the intro and we got the finishing touches done on the pool for $500 instead of $1200 which my concrete guy had quoted. read more

Dick, who is the company owner, (family owned), and all of his employees are fantastic! We had a total remodel. New plaster, pebble stone surfacing, coping and design changes. The process was smooth with Dick always being the point person and keeping us in the loop with good communication. The final product is better than we could have imagined! Our backyard has been transformed into a Caribbean getaway; complete with Baja shelf, umbrella holders and a non-skid ramp so grandparents can enter easily and safely! Not very interested in pursuing work or customer service friendly. I called to see if I could talk to someone about a pool resurfacing project. They were not interested citing the fact that county permits were required. I indicated that I was aware of that and willing to get the appropriate permits and that other competitors today are willing to build that into the cost of the project which is what I am expecting. They indicated they are not willing to do this and would not even participate in providing a quote. Their staff is not able to articulate why they would do business differently than everyone else. And this is not about not wanting to get permits. It is about wanting to follow the right process and working with a business that will provide the right guidance. Our pool heater was stopped and I called few local repair guys. First, I was recommended by one of the pool repair service (listed in Yelp of course) that our pool heater is in very bad shape (top of the line model in 2010) thus needs to be replaced with new. They came up with the cost of 3.3K for heater and 110 labor per an hour. I kinda thought it was too expensive as the model they referred was 1.6K in Amazon and everywhere. Anyway, I ordered the heater while I was getting another opinion from Blu Dolphin. They came by on a same day. They looked at the heater and said they were pretty sure that the heater can be repaired. He had his son come by next business day and his son fixed the heater and it runs as good as new now. I returned the heater which was sitting in the garage although I had to pay return shipping. It would have been minimum of 4K but it was fixed at a fraction of cost. Belvedere/Tiburon repair services are not cheap of course and I am usually ok to live with that however I found few repair services are not honest and just trying to rip off customers. Dick and his son were highly professional and honest. I highly recommend Blu Dolphin to neighbor friends, These guys are absolutely fantastic and trustworthy! read more
