Came on what was opening night. Staff is really going over and beyond to take care of guests. We had the cucumber salad with ginger dressing. Fresh and inviting! Philadelphia roll and Chicken Fried Rice for the entree. Food is fantastic! As with all new restaurants there are bugs to work out but they are off to a great start. I wanted to like this place because it was local and I'm all about supporting local businesses. Ordered online and it said 20 minutes. Since it's only a mile from my house, I waited the full 20 minutes before I left the house. I go inside and they tell me the kitchen just got my order. So to let you know, their online tablet is not were they can see orders come in to print the ticket to start making the order. Told me it would be another 20 minutes. Within 10 minutes, they had brought my steamed pot stickers amd egg roll out and set it on the counter. I then proceeded to wait not the 20 minutes they said it would be but 40 minutes for them to make the sushi. So my pot stickers sat there and got soggy and cold. When they finally gave me my food, there was no apology for how long it took. When finally sitting down to eat, tried the pot stickers first. I bet if they had been hot they would have been good but the fact the breading was now soggy, it was enjoyable. The egg roll was just alright. Was more of a giant spring roll with some odd textures inside of it. Then the sushi. I got a top sushi roll with no avocado and there 4 seasons sauce on the side. I had put in the instructions that I was highly allergic to avocado. When I started eating the sushi, my throat started getting itchy and my throat started feeling like a giant ball of mucus was forming in my throat. Somewhere there was remnants of avocado from something they either put it on or had on there hands. I have never had a problem at any other sushi place with telling them about my allergy. So they didn't take highly allergic serious and I ended up in the hospital from it. Also the side sauces were only a quarter of the way full. The pot sticker sauces was just pure salt. The sauce for the egg roll was just alright. I will say the only thing I enjoyed was there 4 seasons sauce that was suppose to be for my sushi. I got the eat it with the pot stickers and egg roll before I ate a piece of my sushi. So I hate not to support a local business but I will not be going back. read more

As this was an UberEats order, I was hesitant in trying out this place but my son really wanted some kind of soup due to having the Norovirus recently. The prices are a little high, but it's certainly understandable since it's location isn't in the most populated area. After trying out the food, I know I will absolutely have to go try it out in person. This is by far the best sushi (cowboy roll) I have ever had in my life! We tried out the steam potstickers, Sho Yu (I know I've misspelled it) ramen, and the cowboy roll which is shrimp tempura, cream cheese, avocado, steak on top with yum yum sauce. I highly recommend this place and I will add another review once I go in person instead of ordering through a delivery service. read more

Overall well rounded menu. Only issue I had was when I ordered take out, items were missing but I think this was the delivery companies mistake. 100% the best sushi place in the Fort Worth area. My husband and I have been to most of the sushi restaurants around here including the really expensive ones in downtown Fort Worth and this place tops them all! We have eaten here both in person and takeout. The rolls are great however when it comes to the takeout the service is extremely slow. It's a shame because we really love the food but hate the wait we have had after ordering online and setting a pick up time. Hopefully they improve on that part of the business. read more

This place was great! We highly recommend. I was able to get a custom order roll. It was perfect! Exactly what I wanted. My husband got the rainbow roll. It was beautiful. We had dumplings and they were firm and tasty. We also had the miso soup. It had a rich flavor and lots of mushrooms. We also had the spicy edamame. It was regular edamame covered with sriracha. However, our service was non existent, our order was wrong, the sushi was average at best and they did nothing to spruce up the place from the prior old mexican restaurant. They had a chance to hit it out the park but it seemed like the new owner put as little money into the place as they could just to get the doors open vs. Build a nice place to dine. Loved, loved, loved, this place! I was surprised that we went there was nobody here but us for dinner. Even though there was only two people working, the food came out really fast and was super delicious. The server did an amazing job checking on us several times and making sure that we had everything that we needed. She also was very upbeat and smiling, and very friendly. Four stars is for location and fair prices for fresh food. This is so convenient for residents the 1886/Silver creek area. It was busy on a Saturday night. Our two-person reservation got us a nice table bumped right up to a corner wall and window. Service was friendly but quite busy. I agree with other reviewers that the old space could use some freshening up from the previous Mexican restaurant tenants. Even just a coat of fresh paint (and removing the dated texture on the walls) would help. The music selection on Friday didn't cement the atmosphere either - and the Happy Birthday song that was played for what felt like 5 minutes at high volume was a bit much. The Food was good, not great, but all fresh, with good sized potions. I'm not a sushi eater but my dining partner is. The sushi was "fine" , he says. My Yakisoba noodles were good and I really enjoyed the spicy edamame. I'll definitely come back especially for the noodles - a great option when I don't want to cook and still want an uncomplicated meal close to home - I could see the noodles being a great take out too. As others have noted, I think some fine-tuning could make this spot really good - I'm rooting for them! Looking forward to trying it again ! read more

New to the area and gave this place a try because it's close to home (very convenient for the surrounding community). The service was good and the food also surprisingly good. There are definitely room for improvements in terms of getting the whole restaurant looking as good as the main seating area and also I feel like adding an extra television or two could bring in larger crowds during game nights. This restaurant just opened right by our house. We decided to give it a try and it was really good! You can tell they are just opening so be patient but the food was fresh and delicious. The food came out fast. My husband got the chicken fried rice and spicy tuna roll. He said he would get both again. The rice is a big portion so now we have leftovers for tomorrow. The kids and I met my father in law up there for lunch today. He ordered the calamari as an appetizer to share. Delicious and crispy! My 11 year old ate the most.
