    Waitress stand.

Came on what was opening night. Staff is really going over and beyond to take care of guests. We had the cucumber salad with ginger dressing. Fresh and inviting! Philadelphia roll and Chicken Fried Rice for the entree. Food is fantastic! As with all new restaurants there are bugs to work out but they are off to a great start. BYOB until they get their liquor license. Support this local business!

Pot stickers, egg roll, and there top sushi roll.

I wanted to like this place because it was local and I'm all about supporting local businesses. Ordered online and it said 20 minutes. Since it's only a mile from my house, I waited the full 20 minutes before I left the house. I go inside and they tell me the kitchen just got my order. So to let you know, their online tablet is not were they can see orders come in to print the ticket to start making the order. Told me it would be another 20 minutes. Within 10 minutes, they had brought my steamed pot stickers amd egg roll out and set it on the counter. I then proceeded to wait not the 20 minutes they said it would be but 40 minutes for them to make the sushi. So my pot stickers sat there and got soggy and cold. When they finally gave me my food, there was no apology for how long it took. When finally sitting down to eat, tried the pot stickers first. I bet if they had been hot they would have been good but the fact the breading was now soggy, it was enjoyable. The egg roll was just alright. Was more of a giant spring roll with some odd textures inside of it. Then the sushi. I got a top sushi roll with no avocado and there 4 seasons sauce on the side. I had put in the instructions that I was highly allergic to avocado. When I started eating the sushi, my throat started getting itchy and my throat started feeling like a giant ball of mucus was forming in my throat. Somewhere there was remnants of avocado from something they either put it on or had on there hands. I have never had a problem at any other sushi place with telling them about my allergy. So they didn't take highly allergic serious and I ended up in the hospital from it. Also the side sauces were only a quarter of the way full. The pot sticker sauces was just pure salt. The sauce for the egg roll was just alright. I will say the only thing I enjoyed was there 4 seasons sauce that was suppose to be for my sushi. I got the eat it with the pot stickers and egg roll before I ate a piece of my sushi. So I hate not to support a local business but I will not be going back.

Cowboy Roll- it messed up as the driver delivered it on its side. :(

As this was an UberEats order, I was hesitant in trying out this place but my son really wanted some kind of soup due to having the Norovirus recently. The prices are a little high, but it's certainly understandable since it's location isn't in the most populated area. After trying out the food, I know I will absolutely have to go try it out in person. This is by far the best sushi (cowboy roll) I have ever had in my life! We tried out the steam potstickers, Sho Yu (I know I've misspelled it) ramen, and the cowboy roll which is shrimp tempura, cream cheese, avocado, steak on top with yum yum sauce. I highly recommend this place and I will add another review once I go in person instead of ordering through a delivery service.

Rainbow roll missing two pieces because my husband ate it before I could get a picture!

This place was great! We highly recommend. I was able to get a custom order roll. It was perfect! Exactly what I wanted. My husband got the rainbow roll. It was beautiful. We had dumplings and they were firm and tasty. We also had the miso soup. It had a rich flavor and lots of mushrooms. We also had the spicy edamame. It was regular edamame covered with sriracha. Stick with the regular edamame if you aren't a fan of sriracha sauce. The service was attentive and fast. We will definitely be back.

So happy to have another place in town for sushi! We decided to give Top Sushi & Grill a shot. I ordered take out and got the Top Sushi roll and egg rolls, which I really enjoyed and it was definitely filling! We also got 10 piece wings in lemon pepper and teriyaki. We felt like those were just okay. Will definitely be back to try some other rolls and entrees on the menu!

Hatsuyuki Handroll Bar is a Japanese hand roll restaurant that focuses on fresh seafood,…read moremade-to-order sushi, and a more interactive dining experience. We walked into a space centered around sitting at the bar and watching the chefs prepare each hand roll in front of us, which gave the meal a more personal feel compared to a traditional sushi restaurant. The setup is smaller and more intimate, making the experience feel closer to a sushi bar rather than a casual meal spot. The biggest highlight is the quality of the fish and the hand rolls themselves. The seafood tastes fresh, clean, and carefully prepared, with options like salmon belly, otoro, kanpachi, and crab hand rolls standing out. We ordered a few different rolls and found each one well executed, with the fish having a clean, bright flavor that did not rely on heavy sauces or toppings. Each roll is made individually, so the nori stays crisp and the textures come through better than pre-made sushi. The menu has a good balance of classic choices and more creative combinations, making it easy to try different flavors throughout the meal. The chef interaction adds another layer to the visit. Since everything is prepared right in front of you, we could see the attention put into each piece, from assembling the ingredients to serving it at the right moment. The chefs were precise in their movements and took the time to explain the different fish and flavor profiles, which made the meal feel more like an experience rather than just ordering sushi off a menu. One thing to plan for is the wait. Hatsuyuki does not take reservations, and the popularity means there can be a significant line during busy hours. We arrived earlier and found it helped us avoid a longer wait. Seating is limited, but that also helps maintain the quality and atmosphere of the restaurant. The intimate size of the bar means the service stays focused and the pacing remains personal, even when the restaurant is full. Hatsuyuki Handroll Bar is one of the stronger sushi experiences in the area for anyone who enjoys fresh seafood and a more curated dining style. The wait can be a downside, but the quality of the fish, chef preparation, and overall atmosphere make it worth visiting, especially if you are looking for something beyond standard sushi rolls. The focus on craftsmanship and the personal interaction with the chefs elevate the meal into something more memorable than a typical sushi stop.

This was our second time, and it was completely packed within 10 minutes of opening for lunch. The waiter mentioned that they also have an omakase which I plan to do next time, but unfortunately we didn't have the time. First time I came I only ordered the hand roll combos which were ok, but the nigiri and the sashimi is where this places really shines!! We loved every piece of sashimi and nigiri we ordered. Unfortunately this place is pretty expensive, so even after a pricey meal, we still left hungry! Be prepared to spend if you eat lot but it will be worth it because it is so delicious!

Pros: Peter, the owner and chef, greeted our table and told us his sushi specials, which are flown in special from Tokyo every Friday so they change weekly. We had the o-toro, chu-toro, aji, and fluke, and all were amazing quality and you got a lot of fish for the price. They have a lot of sushi combos and platters to service a variety of sizes of parties. We had the sushi combo which was plenty of fish, especially with the cut sizes. Wait staff was very attentive and helpful with the menu. Cons: the entrance is a little off putting but you shouldn't let that deter you. the french menu was lacking in my opinion. There is only one page of options, and we ended up not ordering anything french since the japanese was so appealing. I would've liked to see some seafood or more small plates.
